5.8 Okay
Pros: Proximity to downtown
Cons: Did not find the beds comfortable and the walls are paper thin.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very attentive and friendly people. The restaurant food was excellent especially the Sunday Bruch. The Hotel is located near the Cinema and is within walking distance. The Taxi service is reliable and friendly and quick serve with little wait time if you are taking a taxi.
6.8 Good
Pros: Bed was alright
Cons: Front desk personal were pretty rude and never seen them smile once during many trips outside to smoke.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful, bar meals and drinks were very good: how many hotels have a free 4 am shuttle to the airport and a start up wagon in the entrance hall with fresh coffee and crossants. Enjoyable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beds very comfortable. Entire staff exceptionally curtious. Carol in the dinning room exceptionally attentive and professional.
Cons: Housekeeping very hospitable, however minor corrections were needed to our room.
9.5 Excellent
Cons: room thermostat set to 24 C. No reason for this during summer. Even after turning thermostat down it returned to pre-set temp after a few hours, making room uncomfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was super comfy!
Cons: The room was cold
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff and on site eating facilities
Cons: WiFi. Stayed on 6th floor near center of hotel and WiFi was spotty, slow and constantly changing speeds. Made working difficult
5.5 Okay
Cons: There was a miscommunication between reception and housekeeping, we were given a room that hasn’t been cleaned.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant and bar facilities were better than expected. Menu selections varied from regional to international and everything in between.
Cons: The "gym" was pretty much useless.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The woman at the front desk as well as the woman in the breakfast area were very friendly. Bed and room was very comfortable and clean.
Cons: I didn’t like the smell of the room upon entering, but it doesn’t last long. The bed and cleanliness of the room make up for it. It would be nice to have help with luggage as well. Taking the carts to the room can be cumbersome.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nicest lady looking after the breakfast.l
7.0 Good
Pros: The Super 8 is in a great location, close to the airport as well as major stores and restaurants, which are a priority to the Northern traveller. The complimentary breakfast was great, really appreciated all the options available. Checking in was easy, staff was competent, concerned and friendly.
Cons: I asked for a receipt after I had paid, this was a business trip and I required the payment invoice, but was flat out refused. I even asked to take a picture of the bill of sale that I had signed for the hotel and was told that it was not allowed. Thankfully my booking confirmation from and my credit card statement was accepted by my employer, however it seems crazy that the hotel cannot provide a receipt upon payment.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at breakfast were very helpful
Cons: I was along with 3 small children and staff didn’t help me bring up a playpen. They just dropped it I front of the desk
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A perfect place to stay in YK. Walking distance to the hospital and shops. A stone throw away frlm Tim’s and Walmart. Surprisingly, it is near establishment but you will have a time for a peaceful and relaxing rest! Wow and we were at the ground floor near the reception but it was so quiet!Thank you to the manager who allowed us to check in early. Going to Stanton with our luggage would be inconvenient and they allowed us to store our things when we checked out while waiting for our flight sched. Thanks a lot!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, great staff, neat and clean
8.3 Excellent
Pros: location
Cons: beggars outside
7.0 Good
Pros: it was ok
Cons: the HEAT in the whole hotel building is extreamly hot and our air conditioner did not work, we checked out a day early, it was a not acceptable
5.5 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was very bare bones. One morning there was only a few bagels and bread to eat. No fruit, yogurt, eggs or muffins. One guest said to me that she was gluten free and had nothing to eat. There is a Tim Horton's just a few cold steps away if you want a warm breakfast. If we ever returned to Yellowknife we would spend the extra money and find another place to stay. That was clean, there was housekeeping everyday, and we found the beds very comfortable. I didn't feel it was unsafe at any time.
Cons: It seemed that some construction was going on between the desk and the breakfast room. There were also some issues in the hallway on the second floor. I understand that things happen and have to be fixed.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Staff
Cons: Breakfast not as advertised and was daily ran out of foods. Phone did not work. TV remote would not work. Dirty
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was clean friendly & amenities were great. Free complimentary breakfast. Free WiFi. Pet friendly. Very welcoming & pleasant staff. Room was clean, smell free & warm. Room service & cleaning offered daily. Close to shops and restaurants.

8.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Clean rooms.
Cons: No problems
6.0 Good
Pros: 1. Airport shuttle was good to have. 2. Cleaning staff were flexible and did a good job, especially considering the dated furniture/rooms. 3. Since there is no breakfast included, we appreciated the fridge and microwave.
Cons: 1. Staff were mostly inexperienced/poor, though a few were quite good. 2. Walls/ceilings were thin: it is a noisy environment. 3. Japanese tourists abound, but many have little consideration for others in terms of being quiet in the hallways or when they come in and out at all hours of the night. I think this establishment needs to actually TELL them to be more considerate of other guests. 4. Restaurant offered little of interest: we stayed for 13 nights but there was not anything interesting to draw us in there. 5. Lounge? Did not find one that was open whenever we looked.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Stay was pleasant the manger told me they have never offered a breakfast service i was charged extra for this not sure why you would miss inform not good b
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness Staff
Cons: I kept missing airport shuttle to & from hotel. $15 to hotel. No shuttle for late night flights unless I missed it.
7.0 Good
Pros: appreciated the room size
Cons: couple front desk staffs are not prepared to be a 3 stars hotel staffs. (we were really appreciated to have 1 (out of 3) that helped us out.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Our flight to Edmonton was canceled, and the Days Inn had space (at the suites portion of their hotel, down the street from the main hotel). They accomodated us quickly and easily, the room was large and clean.
Cons: The hotel restaurant (Trek) was closed due to flooding, and will not return. We had to stay down the road (and across the street), and the airport shuttle also left from the main hotel, which meant walking with all of our luggage in -18°C.
1.0 Poor
Cons: Your service is terrible

Pros: Proper restaurant downstairs.
Cons: Beds were horrible.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Bed springs are weak and old
Cons: Very smelly of smoke cigarettes and old furnitures
5.8 Okay
Pros: Overall the rooms need to be refurbished. Mattress on one bed was overly sunken. Pillows were flat. Bathroom needs upgrade
Cons: Bed and washroom
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Location was central
Cons: You shouldn’t have to pay for wifi. The room was the worst I’ve ever stayed in, broken base boards, open electrical outlets, electrical cords everywhere, mould and rust stains throughout the bathroom, broken furniture, the mattress defiantly past its expiration date and one of the reasons I chose this place was because the add said breakfast included. It was not. The restaurant said I needed a voucher from the front desk for the breakfast, the person at the front desk said they NEVER include breakfast, I asked why the restaurant would say I had to get a voucher if in fact they NEVER include breakfast? He said the some people like to prepay for their breakfast at the front desk?! How this place got 2 stars is beyond me .
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location right in the middle of Franklin Avenue. Edward who works on check in is extremely friendly and super helpful. Beds were comfortable and rooms were a good size. Restaurant downstairs serves great food and huge portions.
Cons: A bit dated but no massive dislikes

5.0 Okay
Pros: Price was good, bed was ok, location was close to stores and restaurants.
Cons: It is right beside the homeless shelter so all night listening to drunks fight. Was asked 10 times if I had a cigarette or money to spare. Shower head was loose when I got there, bed was ok, and at half the price of other rooms worth it if not for the yelling and drunks all night. Also no hot water the first night but that was quickly corrected. As I paid for 2 nights with no refund, I stayed instead of moving.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The kettle worked and the room was cleaned daily, otherwise nothing
Cons: Located next to the 24 hour “sobering” centre. Poorly maintained, although they appeared to be doing renovations to some of the rooms. No air conditioning. Mostly though it felt like an unsafe area- walking to and from the hotel was worrisome. Security In and out of the room was a concern.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Not much.
Cons: No hot water, uncomfortable beds, horrible location.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: It had 24 hr check in
Cons: Drunk people banging on my door and waking me up at 2:30am, reception that did not care and the next morning I wasn't able to check out an hour late (even under the circumstances from the night before) without being charged extra. Then was met with "yeah, that's the ------- boys, they're here every week." as though it's an occurrence I should be fine with
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The bed was comfortable with clean sheets, and the kettle was efficient and clean. The staff were helpful.
Cons: The smell was dreadful - maybe from smoking or damp? And the decor was old, fusty and dirty. The towels were dingy.
4.5 Okay
Pros: We stayed because of the price but for same money have stayed at many motels/hotels with much better results.
Cons: I prepaid with no refund without realizing I had done so, as most hotels allow you to cancel up to 24 hours ahead but i couldn't. The bathroom needs updating as well as better supervision on cleaning and repairs. Light bulb missing, the fire detector was on the microwave and the place was not vacuumed the whole time we were there. 4 nights
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall, people are friendly and treat customers the best.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Location Good!
Cons: Dismiss Do not recommend 1.Be in poor sanitary condition The bathroom is not cleaned. The men's plots are in the bathtub. 2.Wi-Fi isn't working. The Wi-Fi signal is weak. I am irritated because I have to sign in often. 3.The price is expensive, too. 4.Most importantly...Be in poor sanitary condition
