Pros:Check in and out was easy because of such a friendly staff. They were very accommodating and the room was comfortable.
Cons:The room did have a musty odor to it when we first got there; kind of like it hadn't been opened up in awhile. Once we opened the windows and let the fresh air in for awhile it was good.

Pros:The Spindrift is a short walk from the beach and offers nice sunset views.
Cons:This is an old, shabby motel, badly in need of upgrading. The bedside lamps didn't work and there was no AC, a big problem on a hot summer day. The clerk was surly.

Pros:Michael...what can I say? As the owner/manager he is a delight to be around. Full of local knowledge and suggestions. ( like where to dine, see the best sunsets, local attractions, etc. ). I would highly recommend the Spindrift for a clean quiet stay.

Cons:Would ask for a room on the lower end.

Pros:The owner was very pleasant. Motel was older but most importantly the room still felt clean. The room was good for the price we paid.
