One-year-old hotel that's trying really hard
One-year-old hotel that's trying really hard. Great value for money. It seems a bit out-of-the-way on the map but it's a three minute walk to the closest Metro Station and from there 3 to 5 stops to do all that you need to see in central Budapest. The rooms are quite spacious for a budget hotel but the bed configuration is a bit unusual for a large single beds head to toe. Rooms have a microwave fridge and safe with Apple closet space and even a bookshelf. I'm not mistaken the rooms away from the road all have a balcony. Wi-Fi is fast and TV channel selection has 3 to 4 new stations in English, at least one station in French, German, Italian, along with regular stations in Hungarian. I think they're still learning how to do breakfast and some things tend to run out if you don't get there early but it wouldn't stop me staying there again.
They are expanding hotel and you do you hear some construction in the morning and this is likely to continue for at least another six months from June 2017, I would guess. We're not a lot of other places to eat in the area but again you're only two or three minutes away from the metro stop by Budapest central line.
