Very disappointing stay in a hotel that we have previously enjoyed using. Has been taken over by new operator and clearly being run with minimal budget and staff, which is inconsistent with prices being charged. Our room was basically between the 2 sets of lifts. So it was a bit like staying by the London Underground. Not particularly restful. The location was good, and the breakfast was tasty. It was all very clean, and the bar and reception areas were aesthetically very pleasant.

The bed was not comfortable. The staff was difficult to reach. The operator never answered and the front desk let the phone ring and ring. I was pretty cold that night so I called for an extra blanket. They never brought it up. The said they had room service but there was no menu in the room. Breakfast was very tasty and the room was clean.
