The pool and gardens are lovely as is the main hotel.
for context remember this place costs E800/night and up so it needs to REALLY deliver and compared to other Belmond hotels we have stayed at we felt the food service was not up to scratch and the breakfast just wasn't good enough. Its hard to not sound nitpicking but we just didn't feel special based on service compared to other Belmond properties. The front desk and concierge were excellent however. So by all means go but just slightly disappointed compared to other Belmonds. Needs tightening up!
Could have done with some different menus on some days
Meals and drinks were VERY expensive leaving a feeling of being robbed. Also not enough vegetables with the meals .
The location is simply stunning.
Having to come home
Great facilities especially the gym and heated pool - sun beds were comfortable and the rooms and beds are a good size.
The food was a bit average - and the high end restaurant was over priced, as were all of the drinks.

The hotel has two Italian restaurants. One of the restaurants offers terrace seating with stunning views. Menus offer locally sourced meats, fresh seafood, locally grown produce, fresh bread, and estate-grown olive oil.
It wouldn’t be a proper trip to Tuscany without a true Italian wine experience. Belmond Castello Di Casole boasts more than 100 acres of vineyards and offers wine tours and wine-related events, as well as tastings and expert pairings.
