Pros: Beautifully kept property. Pool is excellent, with heated flooring. The landscaping, the flowers, the views are chic. All is super charming and very close to Honfleur.

Cons: The only drawback is the quality of the bedlinen... a little more comfort and larger sheets would make it perfect. The hound bust is a bit spooky... but original Honfleur style. It certainly adds character and a bit of surprise.

Cons: The stewed coffee at breakfast. It was not hot or fresh and the tables were not cleared from other guests!

Pros: Loved the ambiance of this property, the grounds as well as the rooms. So much nicer than a hotel! The location was a short distance from the center of town so it was so peaceful and quiet on the property. My sister and family stayed here and recommended it to us. The owner remembered them. The owner was a pleasure to talk with and he was helpful with restaurant recommendations and reservations!

Pros: Location and setting were fantastic - surrounded by immaculate cottages and countryside. Easy location to get to other towns.

Pros: The landlady and landlord proved very hospitable and communicative. They made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed our stay in this very individual and cosy hotel with a great view from our balcony into the stunning garden very much!

Pros: Good and copious continental breakfast included home made yoghurt and pound cake. Our room had a terrace surrounded by plants. Staff was friendly.

Pros: I loved the locations and super cleanliness! The host was very kind and helped me with my luggage as well. It was a nice French man and super host:) he speaks English as well so for all Americans and British the hotel is a MUST:)) very cozy room I had and the shower was nice as well:))

Pros: Location - Excellent. V central, near shops, restaurants and beach. Owner Rashid - Outstanding , lovely guy could not have been more helpful. A proper hotelier. Breakfast - Superb fresh food , generous portions, and good value for money. Free parking on the street.

Cons: To be objective...the following is fair I think: Room : somewhat shabby chic, bathroom, v small. Overall could do with a little upgrade, but hotel is under new management so this may happen soon. Understandably tough call to invest new capital post-lockdown. Noise: Temp was very hot, but no AC, so had windows open and room was pretty noisy from traffic and tourists . TV seemed to have no English speaking channels, which was surprising considering many English guests.

Pros: Very good hotel for 2*, great location, few min walk from the station. 5 min walk to the beach. Nice staff, our room was prepared earlier, clean rooms, good size of the rooms. All was good. Didn’t had breakfast there, I don’t know how is it.

Pros: This is a very special pretty Auberge with fabulous staff and we wished we had stayed a little longer. The location is gorgeous with tables in the sweet garden. The staff were very helpful and as we had not booked for dinner we missed out but instead visited their sister restaurant in Honfleur which was delicious. Would definitely return especially if arriving or leaving from Le Havre.

Cons: Our room was a little small but we still had a lovely stay.

Pros: Corona proof breakfast . nice bit hectic by arrival but very pleasant welcome. Restaurant area bit simple as is the whole setup of rooms. Price quality is perfect. Family room was nice. Great garden and close to too busy Honfleur. Their other hotel saint Germain is of another level. much more luxury and they have a nice restaurant in Honfleur.

Pros: We loved the rural setting. The accommodations were rustic chic. The dinner and lunch we had were beautifully prepared and delicious.

Cons: It was extremely hard to find, even with GPS. There are not activities in the near vicinity. Our toilette room had a problem with sewer gasses leaking into the space so we fought that for two days. There is no shower...gotta sit to bathe. There is no cell service.

Cons: We thought it was more expensive than other 4 star hotels we stayed at during our trip. Dinner was a limited menue at 39Euro but supplements on a number of courses

Also walking distance to a good restaurant Auberge de Vieux Tour - excellent set menus. A really relaxing start to our holiday. V Covid aware and a v good breakfast served in our room

Pros: The owner was very friendly and made us each morning a very good breakfast! The room was really spacious with a view over the nice garden. The property is close to Honfleur which is a lovely town to visit!

Pros: Away from crowded Deauville, stayed with two children under 16 in a family room, were amazed by hospitality and very personal touch and feel of the B&B. The small hotel is well suited for families with small children, or couples in quest of simplicity 'in style' and a very personalised service.

Cons: After having read multiple online reviews, we set our expectation right. Obviously, the view from our room could have been better (faced an evergreen hedge) but it didn't spoil our overall perception of the B&B.

Cons: We brought our cool-box and receptionist was somewhat unfriendly/ unhelpful when I requested to have dairy products stored in their fridge (no room, without trying or looking). No minibar in the room so not alternative. After grumpy discussion some slices of cheese and yogurt were reluctantly accepted. Afterwards no smile received from the man during our stay.... Other staff members were very friendly. Difficult to find a (non-payable) parking spot in the neighborhood. Comes with the central location. No real guidance from staff or advice on alternative locations.

Cons: The price of the hotel is expensive for the quality. Charming and flowery exterior but a poorly maintained interior. The bedding would have to be changed (mattress too soft). Very bad smells in the elevator. There were stains on the carpet in the room and in the corridors. The hairdryer would also have to be changed (not powerful enough to dry long hair). Slippers and an iron would have been welcome in the room.

Cons: Initial mixup with our reservation for a room accessible by elevator. Quickly resolved, but a bit worrisome since we had confirmed the access via booking.com. Also, dinner a bit costly for quality and not as described in menu (minuscule asparagus in risotto; pintade not stuffed with mushrooms.)

Cons: The room was upstairs and in the eves so actually very small. Downstairs rooms had same floor area but were effectively much bigger. We couldn’t move as the auberge was full.

Pros: Although the auberge is on a busy road, the room was in a separate building behind, and was very peaceful and quiet, with no road noise. It was easy to park in a small, free car park opposite. The ensuite shower room was modern and clean. The bed (two singles combined into a double) was very comfortable. The decor and furniture was modern and clean. Breakfast was excellent, plentiful and good value at 8 Euro. There are tables and chairs outside the rooms for warm days. We had a very good dinner for around 25 Euro.

Pros: Location is perfect with clear views of the seaway into Trouville fishing harbour from the breakfast room. Breakfast was much improved by the very pleasant personality of our table waitress. A good example of how to make a guest welcome. Our bedroom on the third floor was overlooking the street, and close to the lift. None of this was a problem. As a Three Star hotel, the overall appearance was only just about right. The link to the restaurant on the ground floor is not a plus in my opinion. Staff and service there did not match the hotel side of the establishment. Knowing this now, we would have chosen from many more restaurants in the town.

Cons: It's not a complaint but - - - - -As an option, the hotel offer rates for breakfast, lunch and dinner. When we sat down to dinner, we indicated our room number to the waiter. The response was just an OK. When I came to pay the bill (i) it could not be charged to the room and (ii) it far exceeded the rate offered by the hotel. There should be more clarity here. But for me, I will book the hotel again but not the restaurant as it was over priced and not value for money.

Cons: The receptionist was the only one at work that day and she had a lot on her hands: check in/ check out, answering a telephone concerning any and all dilemmas, opening the downstairs door, showing people to their rooms, giving out city maps and parking information- we seemed to be on the verge of a breakdown:(. Also she couldn’t provide correct info on a parking spot, and said that the parking lot was full, when in reality the hotel did have many car places. So I was driving about 40 min around the entirety of Trouville to park outside over night. However, on the next day, a different receptionist was more reliable and checked parking availability. We were able to transfer our car to the hotel parking lot.

Pros: Super option!!! Very clean. The location is the best in the city. Great retro atmosphere. Opposite the fish market. The first floor is a large restaurant with a focus on fish dishes. Hotel as part of the restaurant and its continuation. The price/quality ratio surprised us. The hotel staff and of course the restaurant-do their job perfectly!

Cons: The hotel is located on the noisy street, so we can hear the noise early morning and at night till midnight... The service at the restaurant wasn’t good, food - too expensive for nothing extraordinary.

Pros: The bedroom was quite spacious and comfortable with a very large double bed. The bathroom was big, bright and clean with plenty of shelves. The breakfast was simple but served in a pleasant, bright room by very friendly staff.

Cons: We booked the secure car parking which is about three minutes walk away. It's difficult to stop outside the hotel to drop off suitcases. Our bedroom was noisy at night as we could hear someone moving around upstairs for a long time. We had dinner in the restaurant downstairs on our first night and chose the set menu but were very disappointed that our main courses were served cold. Also the quality and presentation of the food was very basic and definitely not worth the price. We should have complained, but didn't want to make a fuss as we liked the hotel and the ambience in the restaurant, just not the food!

Cons: The breakfast has been ordered for 9h00 but we got it at 10h30. I had to go to concierge as neither room service nor reception picked up the phones. When I asked to go to the restaurant at 13h15 I was refused to do so as "the restaurant would be closed at 14h00" even without option to get some food fast.

After checking our room which had no toiletries we were given two sachets of shampoo for a 4 day stay- we were asked to come and collect more when we required them. There was no room service throughout our stay which we were told about, thought it would have been much easier to give us a handful of the shampoo to save us time asking and waiting at reception each day- she didn’t really get it!!!!!

Pros: The breakfast was lovely but expensive. Would expect it to be included in the price. Indoor pool a bonus but needed a good clean around the corners as there was mould.

Cons: We were given a substandard room which had sewerage problems - it stank! When we first walked into the room it smelt strongly of air freshener which was overpowering and now we know why that was! I was also awoken in the early hours to a horrible large spider falling on me and it bit me - the room evidently hadn’t been cleaned properly. The staff on the whole were rude and unhelpful; none could speak much English, which is tricky in such a tourist area!

Cons: A beautiful old building and nice location, however, rooms were very basic. Served us well as a small family with dog although felt a little on the pricey side for such a basic room. Meal in restaurant was ok and good selection at breakfast. 14 euro per head (including child) felt quite pricey for a breakfast though - needs must... would not return purely because I felt it was over priced.
