Very secluded and very comfortable. A very quaint little place
We had a lovely stay. The apartment was very clean and specious. The staff was friendly, breakfast delicious.
The location was easy to find and very central to lots of places of interest to us. Our unit was very clean and easily Accessible , comfortable and warm.
Speaking from a dog owners point of view . My experience here at this guest house of Pets Allowed is totally different than Dog Friendly. I’m aware that not everyone is a dog lover and they can be very problematic to some people which I do fully respect. However, if you accept dogs in specific rooms at an extra charge (which Is common practice these days )together with strict instructions not to leave your dog unattended in your room which makes perfect sense to any responsible dog owner. Then you should provide either a separate breakfast area where your dog is welcome to join you. If that is not a practical solution have an arrangement where you can have your breakfast served to your room. This is the very first time where we actually had to eat our breakfast separately whilst one of us had to sit in our bedroom with our dog. The whole breakfast experience was a disaster. We came away to spend time together and we both felt very uncomfortable sitting on our own and couldn’t wait to leave the breakfast room and be on our way. Travelling with a dog is much more accepted in this modern day in cafes, pubs serving food (not restaurants) hotels ,guest houses and Cottages. I’ve just read this week a dog cinema has opened. It’s unwise practice these days to leave your dog unattended in your car ! bad people out there see them as a valuable commodity to be stolen and sold on . Both of us have travelled far an wide with our dog and this is the first time we’ve come across this type of segregation. Maybe when you offer breakfast at £7 a head to client booked into a pets allowed room you should mention your best friend won’t be allowed to join you or offer room service.
The place was beautiful and staff helpful
The beds were not comfy to sleep on and the room layout to small. Seemed overpriced for the facilities
