Dorado del Mar Beach Resort is an oceanfront resort on the northern coast of Puerto Rico, about 25 miles from San Juan. Dorado is an exclusive resort town and this Aquarius Vacation Club property fits right in, offering spacious villas, poolside dining, and beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. The resort features private beach access, an on site fitness center, championship tennis, and three on site restaurants. There is a playground, game room, and kid-friendly pool and splash areas for family fun for all ages.

The Dorado del Mar Beach Resort also offers free on site guest parking. There is a car rental desk that can assist with transportation around Puerto Rico, as well as an on site gift shop, laundry services, and a bilingual staff to ensure all guests’ needs are met. The 116 guest villas include complimentary WiFi, which is available throughout the resort. Rooms also include gourmet coffee service, 40” flat screen smart TVs with premium cable, a work desk, safe deposit box, and deluxe bath amenities. One bedroom villas include fully furnished kitchens with microwaves and refrigerators.

Aquarius Vacation Club at Dorado del Mar is close to many area attractions, including Dorado Beach, which is about three and a half miles from the resort. Pros (+) Clean and comfortable, lots of things nearby, i.e. grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants. Wonderful staff and the pool and facilities were beautiful and well kept up.
Cons (-) The furnishing were simple and basic but clean and adequate. It was reasonably priced so this did not bother us.

Pros (+) It is next to the beach, and the view from the room was very nice
Cons (-) Carpets and overall structure are not that clean. Facilities are rusty. No WiFi nor TV service when we checked in, and the parking garage was not free.

Pros (+) The pool was very nice and heated
Cons (-) Parking prices where too high for a hotel that has nothing around. The parking there is obviously just for the hotel. $15 a day seems a bit high for the area. The beach is not a pretty beach. I wouldn't go swimming in it.

Pros (+) Espectacular, el lugar, como te tratan, la amabilidad, las facilidad, la piscina super hermosa, en verdad me encantó mucho.
Cons (-) Lo único q no me gustó es q hay un solo Jacuzzi y siempre estuvo lleno, y en la bañera del baño de habitación no había para taparla, no se podía llenar. Por lo demás todo exelente.

Pros (+) This hotel was an okay last minute find. Facilities are clean, staff was awesome, and is not far from the metro area. Check in and check out hours are a little lame (check in is at 4pm and check out at 11am). I would be open to stay here again if I couldn't find anything else and if the price was right. More of a place where you take your kids.
