The location and friendly staff
The closeness to city center and walking distance to everything.
The television on had one channel.
Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Room was very comfortable.
Good location on the north side of the Liffey. Great atmosphere. Lovingly maintained inside and out, which gave a great ambiance. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and gave us a private courtyard view, which made it very quiet (not opening onto the busy street). Good tea/coffee service in the room. Heavenly beds! The faucet in the bathroom had an aerator on it, which was a nice touch and undoubtedly conserved water. They amply advertised the lack of an elevator at booking, which didn't bother us. But still, they had someone right away to take our bags up the stairs to our room. They happily stored our bags for us after check-out. 24-hour desk service was nice. They gave us a voucher for 10% off at the restaurant downstairs, which we used and had excellent fish dinners in a bustling atmosphere. Breakfast in the same restaurant was also very good and with a wide selection. Breakfast is served until 1300, which is unheard of and really great when you want to take full advantage of those wonderful beds.
The only thing that was a little odd was having to go out the front door onto a very busy street to get breakfast next door at the restaurant.
