10.0 Wonderful
Pros:The check in was very quick and easy. I reserved our balcony room months before and that’s what we got. Sometimes hotels don’t give you what you reserved.
7.7 Good
Pros:Very clean, accommodating and helpful staff
Cons:It is next door to a pub that is very loud and noisy with music till way into the night
8.2 Very good
Pros:Location is good for the Clarence, you can walk to most places
Cons:Can get noisy especially as the room is hot and opening the window means it gets very loud
9.7 Wonderful
Pros:The rooms and facilities are great. The service is highly professional and courteous. Right next to a small cafe if you want breakfast but don't want to dole out the 10-15 euro for the hotel's.
Cons:Stay was overall very good. You are still in downtown Dublin, though, so keep in mind that while closed windows help greatly, there are still lots of people partying just outside in the adjacent bar/club.
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:The quality of the room design, materials, decorations, are all first-rate and comfortable. The service from check-in to delivering a requested U.S. to British Standard wall transformer was splendid.
Cons:We had a late arrival into the city, dinner with friends, and just less than 3 hours stay in the hotel before our taxi arrived for a pre-dawn flight home. Would have enjoyed staying for a while.
6.8 Okay
Pros:The location is absolutely fantastic.
Cons:The room was HOT! The hotel does not have A/C. We stayed once before in November and did not notice there wasn't A/C then. In fact we were excited to stay again at this hotel because our first experience was so good. Our most recent trip was in June and the room was very hot even though it wasn't hot outside. We opened the windows, but it was very loud outside and the cigarette smoke and food smells from the bar below were unbearable. The hotel does warn that it's loud because of it's location if you open the windows. The hotel should invest in the mobile A/C units that cost about $800 each. It would be well worth it for summer months.
8.8 Very good
Pros:The bed was comfortable and the fridge was a nice bonus.
Cons:Check-in is kind of late in my opinion. Travelers with early arrival flights have to wait a long time before they can have access to their room. Also, the location while nice, is a burden i.e. noisy at night.
