People are very helpful
Room could be a bit cleaner.
Hosts were lovely. The room pleasant and parking easy. A Hop on-hop off bus stops right out the front as well.
Stairs only which may be hard for people with disabilities.
The place is adorable as well as the staff. It's 30 minutes by foot from the city center, so if you don't have problem walking it's highly recommended. It's a calm, nice and cozy place, with three great breakfast options.
Good location for our needs. Helpful, friendly staff. Very clean & comfortable. The breakfast was excellent! Plenty of free parking on the main road out front or up the side street.
Only a minor point but the shower head in our room (room 1) didn’t like to stay in it’s mount & would fall off when you turn the water off.
We had a very warm welcome, the initial room offered (Room 1) was next to the kitchen so we requested to be moved and we were moved to Room 2. At the rear of the property it doesn't benefit from the views towards Edinburgh, but is very quiet. The breakfast is fantastic, either the full Scottish with haggis but the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon is delicious. a 2 mile walk to the city centre but also on main bus routes to the city or elsewhere. We would definitely stay again
Our initial room offering is next to the kitchen and reception / coffee prep area, so we requested to move.
