Lexington Inn & Suites Nw Chicago Elgin

The staff could have been a lot better. After having to wait 30 minutes because their system was down they gave poor customer service. I had a couple of friends meet me because we were all attending a festival and I was taking long because of the wait. The staff tried to add more people to my reservation for an extra cost before even asking me if they were staying the night. I find it to be very poor customer service after having to wait patiently for so long and then right after try to get more money out of me.

DO NOT STAY HERE

The hotel was not clean at all. I have never had any problems with other hotels like this. The carpet had not been vacuumed, the tub had long hairs in it and on the shower curtain. The bathroom sink had dirt all over it. The sheets and blankets had to be changed when we got there because there was stains and other stuff on them. And when we called the front desk they said that they could not change them because they did not have a 24 hour room service. Finally the manager came down to change them himself and even the new sheets he put on the bed had stains on them. The worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

Don't waste your money.

The price was the only thing that got my attention.

Pool was closed, after I called earlier that morning and said it would be open. Stains covered the entire comforter, pillows had blood stains and yellow stains covering them. Mold in that bathroom they covered up with white caulk. Do not be a cheapskate and book this hotel for your family. We checked out immediately and went down the road to a Hilton for $40 more and well worth it! They would not refund my money also!
