I booked as a single occupant and charged for double occupancy! Ripped off!
Definitely a great deal!
It was in a cute area near the university with a pizza place next door, a liquor store and a few other grocery stores not far from! The room had a fridge and microwave and a bath/shower combo. Super clean! The bed was a little hard but not terrible and there was cable television on a big flat screen tv.
There was a muggy smell when we first arrived but aired out quickly and the a/c and wall heater were a little old but worked fine. The breakfast is just pastries & juice, but still good :)
Convenient location best value
This was a great place for the last minute we needed after a long day of snowboarding at snowbowl, the rooms are decently clean great space the heaters work wonders and the accommodations extra room flat screen tv's breakfast wifi and quite. Thanks for the stay!
Heater noise meant no sleep

Heater noise
Cozy, quaint and not too shabby for the price. I honestly didn't mind that it was older and smaller than other nicer motels. It was clean and kept me warm during the night. When you're on a budget, that's all you ask for, right?
Carpet was peeling, toilet took about 4 flushes to get anything down, shower knob might as well have been a safe tumblr, had like 5 off positions and I ended up burning myself multiple times with scalding hot water. But at least we had hot water unlike the other rooms. Sink wouldn't drain, bed left my back sore, pillows were hard ad a rock. Found empty liqour bottles behind the bed. Only one roll of toilet paper and one bath towel even though I reserved a room for two adults. The RFID keys they gave us were real finicky. All the door frames were warped, couldn't Latch the bathroom door. Had vagrants approaching me for change when I was sitting outside my room. I've had better living accommodations in Afghanistan.
The room was clean and the staff were friendly.
Small room/bathroom, lumpy pillows, no DVD player, dated decor
It was cheap.
I'm pretty sure a stain on the bath mat looked like feces and the shower didn't really work (the tab was impossible to pull up and so only a little water would come through). The room smelled as though it may have been a smoking room though it said non smoking. Our reservation stated queen and we had two fulls. Overall though I didn't expect more for the price, got a good nights sleep and moved on with our trip.
Cheap
Needs a lot of work
Worst accomodations ever
Nothing
Poor accommodations, including no phone in room, no desk or chair to work at, dark colors in room. Nothing like the pictures used to advertise the facility. Fire safety hazards such as one outlet have a three-way strip plugged in, and a power strip connected to that power strip that in turn powered the fridge, microwave, coffee pot and a light, really surprised the fire department hasn't fined them or shut them down. And the walls are paper thin, heard everything going on in the adjacent room, every single moan. Not sure if the L stands for "low budget" or just "love". Sure, the price was low, but it still was too much.
great customer service!
Booked a non-smoking room, walked in the room and discovered that i was given a smoking room. Went to the front and (Alex) apologized and was very accommodating! Hooked me up with a non-smoking room! ... Not the Hilton or any 5 diamond resort, but definitely better service and better building upkeep than the other 'budget' motels within 3/4 - 1 mile of this location (temporarily living/extended stays while relocating out of state, so I've been 'trying out' all the motels within walking distance to NAU/work)... The L motel and the Ho-Jo Inn a few blocks down have the best customer service and...
All the local 'budget' motels in the area require filling out the same 'generic' post card at check in (no business name, driver license into, etc.. all identical... Etc..... Very sketchy! Identity theft? Who's running a scheme?
Great value in a good location
I liked the low price, convenient location to restaurants and shops, friendly staff, free parking, clean rooms and working amenities (Wifi, heater, TV, clock). I stayed in a lot of inexpensive motels on my holiday road trip, and this was far and away the best one. It was also the least expensive.
They only had decaff coffee for the pot in the room. That probably isn't the norm, though.
Not very impressed, very run down facility, not too clean, very uncomfortable beds, was anxious to leave.
Not too much, won't be staying there again. Thought the price seemed fair but after seeing the place feel like I got ripped off.
Close to freeway and restaurants. 6 person bedroom was a bonus which inluded a separate room with a double bed (room 105)
This is very basic. The airco in the room sounds like sleeping in a power plant. You would not want to spend too much time here other than somewhere to sleep. I would not recommend this hotel for a traveling business person but purely for someone passing thru and looking for somewhere purely to sleep (with the airco switched off !!!)
Location is fairly good, especially for a public transportation user like me (it was within walking distance from Amtrak station).
Air conditioner didn't work. Breakfast was very poor (there weren't even tables and chairs to sit for breakfast). Room was older and fairly dirty. If you expect something more than a typical "cheep motel," don't choose this place.
It was clean and had good location
It said it has free wifi, but it didn't work properly, we couldn't use it. Price was a bit expensive, but because it was Friday.
easy to get to
Probably hasn't been upgraded since they've opened. My dorm room in college was cleaner. No internet Wifi. Scary for anyone who is a clean freak or has a fear of the unknown.
central location
very old and showing it's age
free internet, proximity to grand canyon
cleeaning lady knocks at 9am to clean room and says will not come back later when i said it was too early. cold room and no heating in bathroom. very noisy due to passing trains and other guests.
