Pros (+) The ocean front location and wonderful views from all rooms are the draw at this long standing well worn Heceta Beach property.
Cons (-) The rooms are very basic. Thin walls, doors and flooring ensured that we heard other guests from above, below and out in the hallway. No AC over a warm Labor Day weekend left the room stuffy without the unscreened slider opened all night...ocean sounds are nice but the airhorn buoy from the jetty just north blows loudly every minute making sleep impossible with the balcony door open. Pros (+) Location to beach, clean rooms
Cons (-) Walls are paper thin- could clearly hear TV and conversation from neighboring room. Room also got pretty warm with no AC, would have slept with door open but there was no screen for it.
