The Angel View Inn

Huge bedroom with comfy bed. Ideally situated for our visit up north. Generous breakfast

First impression was that our room was a little dated/tired and dark.

Check in was easy. The room was lovely and clean. Plenty towels, little sachets of soap, shower gel and shampoo provided. We stayed 2 nights and we had cleaners come in and tidy the room, add more towels if needed and toiletries. Even tidied our belongings which I thought was fab. Bar was great and the staff there are so friendly and nothing at all is a bother to the barman. Food was lovely and service was quick.

The superior double bedroom shower was not much of a shower and we were unable to use it as such. The shower head based was loose so the shower head hung upside down on the wall. Even if we were able to use it at the height of 5 ft 10 we were to tall. Although the double bed was comfortable enough it wasnt that big and our feet hung over then end. Parking area could do with lighting. With it being rural it was pretty dark.
