Facility was relatively new but that was the highlight of my family's stay in three of their rooms over three days.
Housekeeping was abysmal. Rooms not made upp at all several times. Coffee left it the coffeemaker when we checked in. Pool was not functioning properly. The man at the desk was rude, uncaring, and incompetent. He would not even discuss our issues. He screwed up our billing twice and never did get it right. This hotel caters to oil workers and railroad people and they could not care less about families.
Lousy service. Dirty. Rude.
From a three night stay, housekeeping managed to make our beds once and change out towels and empty the trash zero times. I carried trash bags to the front desk and had to ask for towels every day of our stay. Staff came in the room to make the beds one day but even then left wet towels piled in the bathroom and trash cans overflowing. Front desk staff (when there was any, which was seldom) was rude, combative and one male staff member flat out said he didn't care about getting a bad review. The 'Business Center' is an eight year old Mac computer connected to the hotel's lousy WiFi signal in a stuffy little room with no air conditioning. Our room reeked of cigarette smoke for two days thanks to the constant collection of BNSF employees smoking right outside our window and literally sitting on top of our air conditioning unit. This hotel caters to corporate railroad and gas/oil companies and is the worst place I've tried to stay with my kids. The place is filthy. External door locks into the building don't work. The pool is broken, freezing cold and chock full of way too many chemicals to be used. Horrible experience, will never be back. Holiday Inn Express right next door is a thousand times better.
A welcome surprise!
Erik the night shift front worker was AMAZING!
Friendly staff, especially Erik did a great job, he deserves a raise, if not a promotion. Hang onto that guy.
Nice staff and bed; dirty and broken facilities
The guy who works nights at the front desk was very nice. He even let us borrow a corkscrew to open some wine. Bed and linens were nice.
Even though it was the middle of winter, the room was 80+ degrees, even with the heat turned off. The windows don't open, so we had to use the air conditioner (not exactly a "green" hotel)-- but it too was broken. The hotel is only a couple of years old, so this seemed strange. The nice guy at the front desk brought us a fan. I dropped something behind the bed side table, and was disgusted when I saw how filty it was behind there. There were some gross substances that I could not identify. There were key cards dropped there too from previous guests that confirmed to me that it had been a really long time since the room had been fully cleaned. The location is only good if you're immediately getting on and off the highway. It's not close to anything in the actual town except a bad truckstop-type restaurant at the motel next door.
Great place to stay!
Friendly and helpful staff, clean hotel, and very comfortable bed.
Good with a few hiccups.
Overall it was very good. The breakfast was very good and the facilities are beautiful.
Only two minor things that could happen at any hotel. Our tub was partially plugged and wouldn't drain, but they got it fixed right away. Also, their spa was having problems so it wasn't working.
Very comfortable clean and built very quiet convient place to relax.
