It was set top a mountain with the most spectacular views. With nicely appointed rooms.

Beautiful location, great service, kind people

We had stayed at several paradors and pousadas on this trip, but this place was very special. Whereas several similar properties crammed a huge number of hotel rooms into their spaces, this historic hotel did not do that. The common areas here were vast. It was magical to wander around the spaces on several levels, especially at night. The loggia off of the floor with the rooms numbering 500 was wonderful, with its fountain, views and breeze. The pool also has beautiful views. Our room was comfortable, not particularly large, however, and the food was good in both the restaurant and the bar. Expect a bit of a drive up the hill over cobblestones, but when you arrive you are in a different world.

Heritage building

Beautiful property that in itself is worth a visit. It has a lovely view. You could spend a week here. The restaurant is very good. The bar is nice. There is a very nice pool and the gardens are also nice. There are a lot of spots to lounge semi privately and quietly throughout the property. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Breakfast was noisy and mediocre.
