Hotels near Hailey Sun Valley-Friedman airport

Pros: The Knob Hill Inn is the best hotel in the Sun Valley area. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with nice amenities. The included breakfast is cooked to order. The restaurant or grille has an extensive menu and is popular with locals. The people are friendly and helpful. There is a littleused, at least in my four stays, indoor pool.

Cons: Now that the restaurant has been expanded, the parking lot fills in the evening and hotel guests don't have a place to park at times.

Pros: Location, service and amenities.

Cons: What like real butter at breakfast

Pros: It was a nice clean room the hotel was nice but what really stood out to us was the staff and how friendly, helpful and efficient they were.

Pros: Rooms are very nice. Staff was very friendly.

Cons: Could hear the room above flushing the toilet all night long.

Pros: The breakfast was very diverse and delicious. The room was very welcoming and clean. The staff was very helpful and polite.

Cons: The refrigerator made a lot of noise, so it had to be unplugged. I wish the room had a small night light so that I was not in total darkness every time I got up to use the restroom. If I turned the light on, the kids would wake up because it was too bright.

Pros: i appreciated that the products in the bathroom were organic and did not have added chemical fragrance as I have horrible allergies. My stay was much more pleasant with my allergies not going crazy!

Cons: Everything was what I expected for what I paid, but I think there's a ground issue with the fire alarm because it went off while I was asleep; and had to rush out to the parking lot in my pajamas. The attendant was unable to turn the alarm off and had to wait for the Hailey police department. Much later (like the building would have already burned down had it really been on fire) the fire department arrive and investigated. There was no fire, smoke, or alarms levers pulled. The fire alarm just randomly went off.

Pros: The best thing about Tamarack is location. It's just two blocks from Main Street in Ketchum , and we were able to walk everywhere.

Pros: The room was great, the bed was super comfy. We just finished a 25 mile backpacking trip so comfort was what was important. I'm was very clean and great location, it was walking distance to all the shops and resturants. Great balcony for our room we were in 211.

Cons: The "jacuzzi" is just a jacuzzi you would find in a normal home. It didn't feel super clean. And the bathroom sink was kind of clogged. Other than those two things it was a great stay!

Pros: Tamarack Lodge provides a great downtown Ketchum location within easy walking distance to coffee shops, a wide range of restaurants, and shopping. Plenty of parking. Our grand kids enjoyed the swimming pool. The room itself was quite large with room for two pack-n-plays and still penty of room for the babies to run around. The room included a small balcony accessed through a sliding glass door.

Cons: The in-room bathrooms have probably not been updated in some time. They were clean but could use some updating. Still, for the price, we are certainly NOT complaining.

Pros: Stayed here during the Trailing of the Sheep Festival. Customer Service was fantastic, everyone on staff was very friendly and hard working. Location was perfect for the activities we were looking to partake it! Our king fireplace room made us feel very at home. Room looked and smelt clean. Enjoyed the in room breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!

Cons: We were in the room next to the laundry room, which I don't normally think would have been a problem but since they were booked so full for the festival it was a little noisy/busy. Bed could have been more comfortable, but served its purpose just fine.

Pros: I have traveled alot by myself. Have come to realize that the staff mean more than the bargin. And the staff here went above and beyond. Both Carol the manager and Timbery at the desk were the best ambasadors of kindness and professionalism twords me. Thanks it ment alot

Cons: It is what it is; just as good as this class of lodging can be. No, it's maybe not for honeymooners or that first weekend away with your new girlfriend.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, microwave and fridge. Quiet, rural-type setting, even though located in town close to the airport.

Cons: Limited facilities--no breakfast room, but they bring it to you the night before so you can heat it up in the morning. No swimming pool, but there is a hot tub. The ice machine did not work the entire time we were there. The stopper in the bathtub did not go all the way up, so the water leaked out. I put a folded up wash cloth over the drain and held it in place with a lot of pressure; that was the only way to take a bath.

Pros: Staff was very friendly.. Room was big and clean.

Cons: About 5 am staff in lobby was really loud and our room was close to that and we were woke up to ladies laughing really loud.

Pros: Warm, comfortable, close to town, super dog friendly - gave our dogs goody bags; convenient pet relief area with poo bag dispenser. Good breakfast. Plentiful coffee. Quiet room. Great staff.

Cons: The floor of our dog-friendly room was laminated “wood” and “tile” that was so slippery even in our bare feet that we feared we’d fall. Our smaller dog was afraid to walk on it. I understand the cleanup is easier. The floors were really cold, too. We haven’t had a carpetless room before so we’ll plan better for that in the future - slippers for us, runner-type quilt for the dogs to walk in.

Pros: Great insulation. Quite quiet. Only 11-12 miles from Sun Valley and prices much more reasonable.

Cons: Room was a "disabled" room and we were not disabled, and we did not ask for one when we made reservations 2 weeks prior to stay.. Bathrooms were very small. Some initial problems with door key cards, but worked out later.

Pros: Whirlpool was great and the bed was super comfortable.

Cons: The bathroom had some fixture issues and there was a little mold around the top of the shower.

Pros: Very quaint and comfortable. Our host was so accomodating. Loved our room.

Cons: Could hear bathrooms etc.

Pros: It was our first time at a B&B, we liked the personal feeling and Gabriele was so great to help us with everything and anything that we needed. It was fun to sit down with the other people staying there at breakfast and learn about them and their trips and lives.

Cons: The only down side to the trip was their was no air conditioning in the rooms which made it a bit uncomfortable to sleep at night because it was pretty hot.
