Calm and tranquil hotel. Staff are absolutely on point with everything. Check in with a glass of bubbles is a nice touch. Private onsen bath in room was amazing.
I liked just about everything. When we first arrived (at 8:00PM) a swarm of staff came to help us load our bags and check in. They allowed us to rest after a whole day of traveling through airports. It was fantastic. They also gave us a refreshing drink and even gave a non-alcoholic option for those of us who can't handle their liquor i.e. me and my mom. They had individual staff members guide us to our room. The rooms were very roomy. We had 5 people in our room and it was still very comfy. The in-room open-air bath was amazing! It felt so good after a long day's walk. If we didn't want to see the markets so bad, we would have just stayed in the room the whole time. haha. The breakfast buffet was SO GOOD! My dad still talks about it. It had a little bit of everything that he likes. If we ever go back to Hakodate, I would definitely go here again. :)
The price was a little higher than we are used to but the price is worth the service.
We have the onsen in room. The room is very big compared to other ryokan / hotel. The breakfast buffet is very good - quality foods
No tea pot in the room
Polite Staff / Good Hotel / Good onsen
So not see the sea
Staff very courteous and helpful, room clean and very good sea view with onsen
