Room was comfortable, and my stay was quiet.

Sticky floors and funky smells is the theme
The location was good, very close to everywhere we needed to go. Outside has a fresh paint job and it seems like they are getting ready for a big renovation
When walking through the door you get greeted with a very strange old smell, very stuffy, and sticky floors... You may never slip and fall there because the all bare floors are sticky and very noisy to walk on. The staff checked us in and gave us a room on the third floor. The kitchenette was 20 years older than me and should have been in a museum. No pots or pans, I didn't feel like askiyfor them at that point either. Even though the room was a non smoking room it smelled strongly of old smoke, the type that you can't get used to and that seeps into your clothes and makes you smel the same. The bed seemed freshly made, still found hair on it though. There where some stains on the carpet that could have been blood or so. The tv was old too. The bathroom was cleaned not all to well and over the stay we figured out why. The cleaning staff doesn't get done cleaning before 5. Our room was the very last on the top floor. So when we came back from an exhausting day at 5 and the room wasn't cleaned yet, we sent the the cleaning lady away. We figured she then would start with ours the next day, but she didn't. It was the same spiel but we left again after 5 so she could clean it. It wasn't much she dis but I don't really blame her, she seemed exhausted and overworked by then. The breakfast was an adventure. We barely ate any, and the breakfast room floor is super sticky as well. All in all we would not recommend staying there. Maybe after the renovation. But until then it feels filthy and very outdated. The pillows were very terrible too.

Hotel entrance was the only thing clean about it. I arrived at 4pm, which is one hour after check-in, but my room was still not ready and I was told to wait for another 30mins. When entering the room, a moldy dingy smell smacks you in the face. The floors had not been vacuumed and there were old used plastic cups under the chair in the corner. The bed seemed clean, but there were make up stains on the pillow. The AC unit in did not work. The fan blew air but not cold/hot air. The ice machine on the first floor did not work. The breakfast that was served the 3 mornings I was there was pitiful. Also, there was an inspection while I stayed and the staff was scrambling around and cleaning like crazy. The staff did not seem to care about guests what so ever. There was plenty of cussing, ignoring, and they even served themselves breakfast while guests were still in the dining room. Overall, it was not a good experience. I will not be returning.

Our hotel offers business pluses in the business center along with availability of faxes and photcoping. Our outside pool has a flow-down whirlpool and ample deck seating. The indoor whirlpool has a shower area for the guest comfort. Get a full workout in our complete fitness center and work out the soar muscles in our red wood sauna. The extended breakfast area is off of our homey and warm lobby. The continental is always available but extras include scrambled eggs, grits, sausage, poured Belgium waffles and biscuits.
