What an treat to be staying at this hotel, a reference in post modernism archictecture ! The view from the rooms onto the river and the valley are very impressive. A lovely welcome from the team and a 30mns power walk to Independance square. Location is near many museums and 30mns walk to the "moteherland" monument.
We regreted getting breakfast at the hotel, quite uninspiring...

The views from the window/balcony were absolutely amazing! The interiors are fine, with special details to watch out for. The service is very nice and helpful.

Perfect location in the center of the city surrounded by parks with access to the metro line at the walking distance. As I understood, all rooms have a large balcony with a decent view on a city landscape. Good quality furniture in the guest room. Complimentary water provided every time when room is cleaned.
The bathroom is tight and poorly equipped with cheap interior elements even though all basic amenities were provided. The lobby is quite outdated and lacks some style. The lift is a ghost from the Soviet Union past. In general, the hotel requires some refurbishment. Strange scent everywhere in the hotel.

This hotel is an eye candy for every architecture enthusiast. Although rooms and bathrooms are totally (and in a characterless classical style that has nothing to do with the rest, imho) renovated, the Salute still mantains its great Soviet flair in communal spaces – lobby, restaurant, lifts, staircases. A big plus is a private concrete balcony in every room – ours was on the top floor with an amazing view on the Dniepr. Fast WiFi, comfortable beds, good water pressure. Friendly and professional staff. Everything very well-kept and super clean. Absolutely recommended.
