Pros: We booked a standard suite room and what we eventually got was a fully equipped, modern, renovated apartment (room no 12). It had microwave, washing machine, kettle etc. We went with a baby and it was a most comfortable solution for us. Baby cot was also provided. Breakfast was very good, receptionists were very kind and helpful. The pools are so near, right behind the hotel.

Pros: Room had a fridge, good heating in bathroom, air conditioner and english tv channels. Also a kettle in the room.Good breakfast freshly cooked cheese omelettes served to us.locked our bikes up safely in cleaning room.

Cons: Door of our room didnt close well, appeared broken. Power points were coming out of the wall sockets.

Pros: Great staff, direct access to amazing swimming pools and spa

Pros: Swimming pool and wellness facilities are incredible. Really make the stay enjoyable. Room was so comfortable and it even had a washing machine. Washing detergent was kindly provided for free!

Pros: Everything was fine to stay for 4 days. But the all staff was so kind and nice so that i can feel more comfortable.

Cons: Big room, but not any shelves in the bathroom for your toiletries. Very slow check in.

Cons: Most of the spa facilities were out of order and no one informed us about any of this. We found food thrown on the floor in the sauna rooms. The pool was freezing and the jacuzzi was out of order just like the other 3 saunas that were out of order.

Cons: Room was very small compared to others paying the same. Air con was very loud at night. Seal on shower door too small water all over floor every shower no matter how careful.

Pros: Very nice spa area. You may pick up bath robe from reception free of charge (+ slippers if needed for small charge). Restaurant is one of the best in surrounding area. Beef is awesome. I was traveling for business, so for me this hotel was great in terms of finding everything at one place: spa, sauna, swimming pool, then great dinner without going outside (might be relevant if you have limited amount of time during your stay).

Cons: Would be great if you change pillows to softer and bigger. Current ones are hopeless.

Pros: The best part of the hotel is certainly the spa, which has a nice pool and a large jacuzzi along with several sauna rooms. Also the rental bicycles are great for going around the lake and exploring Tata. The standard room was clean and comfortable with all of the basic amenities. The proximity of the hotel to Tata and the lake was nice.

Cons: At first glance the historical architecture and beautiful central courtyard of the Kristaly hotel paint the impression of a premier accommodation in Tata. Unfortunately one quickly discovers the full potential here is not at all realized, as the hotel lacks any vibrant feeling and is actually quite sterile. While the courtyard is perfectly set up for an evening of relaxing with a glass of wine while listening to some live music, the only background noise is a tired old elevator-music playlist on repeat with the occasional interruption of acoustic feedback from a poor sound system. There is no bar whatsoever, although the staff suggested it was only temporarily closed it seems the basement "wine bar" is really just a rental space for group parties. All of the staff are polite but generally aloof and disinterested. The restaurant seems like it has the potential to make decadent meals but instead it only serves mediocre buffet dinners Friday-Sunday. Given how busy Tata seems with visitors from Budapest and the surrounding area, I was expecting a lively weekend atmosphere at the Kristaly but sadly the hotel was basically half-empty on a Saturday evening despite being fully booked.

Pros: Very nice and quiet with a nice spa. And my daughter left her phone and they post it and sent it to us. Very nice of them.

Cons: The carpets.

Pros: We attended a sports camp in Tata and stayed at the Parti Panzio. We were a family of 5 travelling on a budget! We were worried about the language barrier, getting to Tata from the airport and couldntfindmany reviews on the hotel. I sent quite a lot of emails before I left, Milko replied promptly and put my mind at ease. He arranged a transfer for us and our driver was waiting for us when we landed. When we arrived at the hotel Milko was outside waiting for us. We were made to feel so welcome. We were shown around and given all the information we needed. The hotel was very comfortable in a fantastic position, in beautiful wood surroundings next to the most picturesque lake. The kids loved playing in the swimming pool and Milko offered them use of balls and floats. We had friends staying in the hotel next to us and he allowed the children to come and play with our son the pool. Nothing was too much for him. We had a slight problem with mosiquitoes by the lake. When I asked for directions to a pharmacy Milko gave me a spray! My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Cons: Horrible smallest room I ever had. Noise from AC, no wi-fi, room without window expensive like hell On the other hand excellent breakfast

Cons: Bathroom sink and shower both drained slowly. Taking a shower one had to watch the water gathering in tub did not overflow.

Cons: The rest. The check in process was awfull, just a big joke. The man spoke no word of English. The site says card payments are available but they aren't, they say you have to pay in euro when the currency is not even euro. No receipts at all. No breakfast at all. The place says you have a gym sauna jaccuzi, but its all a lie, you have nothing of the sort.In my experience I had customers and delivery guys just walking in my room thinking its the reception because the front part is closes because there is no one to receive them. Its an absolute joke, worst service I have ever seen. I prety much did the check in for new customers, its ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. The check out I had no one ro give the key to so I had to leave the key in the main door of my room because the front door of the building is locked because no one is inside. If you needed to call the manager he would take 20-30 mins to arrive and still be extremely rude. Don't recommend nor will never come back to this place again.

Cons: It would be really great to get what one pays for! The room had nothing to do with the one booked. We were given a dark room overlooking north and an ugly, tiny backyard (was supposed to overlook the lake), with incredible dirt all over the place (including dust and cobweb), no towels, no toilet paper, no hot water in the evening, stale linen and out of order kitchen appliances in a common kitchenette (according to the Web description there should have been a fully equipped kitchenette in the room: that's how the description went). The owner took the money without even showing our room and the very moment he disappeared (by the way, on arrival we had to wait for him like an hour). In the morning I saw there were nice rooms in the guesthouse, exactly like in the booking.com discription. Unforetunately not for us although we booked a few weeks before arrival. There was a concert by Omega, a legendary Hungarian rock group (reason for our visit in Tata), on that day and probably the owner - for want of space - moved us to that floproom. He shouldn't have done so, he shouldn't have even accepted our booking if he had such a smart plan to accommodate us there! Fortunately, we stayed only one night there, and things like towels and toiltet paper are always with us :) but not hot water ... :( . Still ... a big disappointment, the only such an incident in Hungary, which obviuosly won't spoil our loving to that beautiful country (we booked dozens of nights in Hungary, always pleased with what we met on the spot). Main point is: you should get what you paid for!

Cons: Don't think of staying in this facility!! The owner is arrogantly refusing to issue an invoice or a payment receipt for my stay. Apparently to cheat on taxes. No feedback for email escalations, during telephone call in Hungarian language the owner is rude. Hotel door is permanently locked, nobody at the reception. The shared kitchen was locked all the time, thus unusable. Bed sheet was with stains.

Pros: The place is ok, we needed to spend there only one night and it met our expectations. The place is ok, nothing special, just ok :) We did not try the sauna.

Cons: Only issue I found, is that we got only one towel and we booked the room for 2 ppl.

Pros: We liked the space of the appartment, the fine dining table and the very good beds. Also the fact that you have your own entrance and that the appartment is situated right across the lake and close to a busstop and supermarket. Also silent at night.

Cons: We did not like the atttitude of the host who seemed not to be particularly interested in his guests. He has not replied to two messenges that we have sent him before arrival. Maybe he acted like this because his English was very poor. In the kitchen there is only one burner and there were no pans until he digged up one dirty and one somewhat cleaner pan from under a pile of duvets. Present bikes could not be rent because they were "no good". Fortunately there is a company accross the street where you can hire them. The whole shows a somewhat neglected appearance.

Pros: Safe gated car park. Good breakfast with lovely juice and selection of foods. Restaurant offers a good evening menu.

Cons: On a noisy main road (lorries making noise all night), not the greatest of beds, lingering odour of smoke throughout (possibly coming through the bathroom fan).

Pros: The food at the restaurant.

Cons: Bad smell in rooms. Very noisy. Almost horor.

Cons: When we arrived, the lady in the,reception wasnt aware of our booking. We had to insist on her rechecking as she claimed they were fully booked.the room was not clean. The bathroom was old and gloomy Thec estaurant is OK, not as great as described

Pros: Very nicely designed restaurant in Middle Age fregata shape, delicious meals served there (on the contrary to a bit poor breakfasts), silent aircondition in the room.

Cons: A bit used furniture in the room, bathroom equipment maybe renovated not so long ago, but need a man with screwdriver to fix it - namely WC seat, shower and soap holder, wash basin... Only one little glass of orange juice for each person for the breakfast, which was not served in correct time... Nearly no smiles on waiter's and other people's faces...

Pros: The breakfast was sumptuous and versatile, the cocktails were amazing. The personnel was really service minded.

Cons: Small , old and not good value for the money. I would never go back. Breakfast was advertised to be included yet according to the owner they don’t have it and in the next sentence they said it is only Saturday and Sunday during the week reservations have to get their own breakfast or something like this.... they kept saying one thing in one moment and changed it in another. They were obviously lying and just wanted the money but not give service for it.....

Pros: Very nice, helpful stuff. Great food. Really tolerant with a 2 year old really active boy.

Cons: The room could have been bigger

Pros: 1. The hotel is located in the backyard of the restaurant, the surrounding is quite nice. 2. Location is good, near the lake and the parks. Also 10 min walking distance to Lidl and SPAR. 3. The room is cozy and equiped with enough facilities like hair dryer and refrigerator. 4. I checked out on Easter so there was no front desk. Two Chefs managed to help with the payment via POS, interesting experience.

Cons: Room 1 was not soundproof. It was loud and clear when your neighbor turn on the tap. And aslo the curtains cannot fight the daylight. Earplugs and eyeshade are necessary if you sleep not so well.

Pros: Nie było śniadania. Łóżku było zbyt dobre.

Cons: It was very hot, it is necessary to put an air-condition.

Pros: Location:close(1-2min walk) to Lidl and Spar. Also within 15min walking distance to the Tata castle and the lake. Owners are very friendly and helpful and available all the time. Fridge is available in the common area,where there are tables and sofa where you can eat your own food comfortably. Free wifi

Cons: Chemical smell inside room due to some painting job recently. I could not sleep and had a headache. They should have waited until the painting smells disappear. Because I asked the owner to give me another room around 23:30, I could sleep at another room. Even though small cost, they have to check the room carefully. I do not want stay again.

Pros: Quick access, close to main route, quiet, good price, 10 minutes to center area.

Cons: Small rooms, small hanger, bad near the door.

Pros: staff friendly and helpful. Panzio clean. Good place, supermarket close, and bus stop as well.

Cons: worse posibility to get inside late at night, because of no key of entrance. You have to ring, and wait until staff will come to open door. When outside is minus temperature, its little bit problem.

Pros: Really nice locality near the Tata town. For the walking is there 4minutes big lake with excelente view.

Cons: The price was for this quality of room :-( For students, young turist is ideal oportunity to stay there.
