Pros: The staff were kind, considerate and helpful. Breakfast was on a beautifully-appointed terrace looking towards the main square and the cathedral. The room was spacious and comfortable.
Cons: There was no lounge or bar within the hotel; but that wasn't a problem because there were plenty of places nearby.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Bathroom with jacuzzi was great, as well as the amazing breakfast. People at both reception and breakfast area were super kind.
Cons: It could have had a sofa
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely large room in centre of the old town with good breakfast.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast, location, and staff were all fantastic. The room was large and airy and my husband highly enjoyed the fantastic cable package.
Cons: The wifi signal was a bit weak. I had purchased an unlimited data sim card for Montenegro and ended up using that and creating a hotspot for my husband most of the time. Also, the bed was in a small loft area, which is fine, but we had to be very careful not to hit our heads on a low beam when trying to leave the bed area and were unsuccessful a couple of times.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, with a great location, right in the middle of town. The hotel looks like it has been recently completely modernized. Great breakfast served on a pretty outdoor terrace.
Cons: The loft had an odd bedroom... in the room’s attic that required climbing over the foot of the bed to get into it. It can be a bit noisy, at night, especially on a weekend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A stunning hotel, situated in the heart of the old town. We stayed in a large attic room, with the bed on a mezzanine floor above. All the staff were really friendly and the breakfast was immense! I can thoroughly recommend staying at the Villa Duomo.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: I couldn't wish for better stay in this hotel - I did stay before and will definitely be staying in the future. The location is great - it is in the very heart of the old town with the view of the Kotor bay. Receptionist was very friendly and arranged for earlier check-in and even upgraded my room for free, which I did not expect at all! Food at the restaurant was also great and moderately priced, highly recommend it!
Cons: The receptionist at the checkout was different to one who managed my check-in and she seeded quite abrupt and distracted.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best location, fantastic view, courteous staff and parking privilege at a public parking lot within 5 min walking distance. Plenty of HOT water there and never ran short as it was noted in earlier reviews, I meant even with extended showers that we took... Oops LOL hope hotel management doesn't mind. Pros: The staff was amazing! The desk clerks were very helpful in suggesting things to do while in Kotor and one even arranged a driving tour for us at the last minute when we were not able to get a boat tour of Kotor Bay. The room was clean and large enough for us and our large amount of luggage. The hotel is located in the old town and it was easy to walk everywhere. The breakfast was fantastic and we also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant as well. We loved visiting Kotor and would highly recommend staying in this hotel.
Cons: There was nothing that we would suggest needed improvement. It was a great place to stay!
7.0 Good
Pros: Beyong the noise all the other was absolutely perfect

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great stay, wonderful location, property is very well maintained and taken care of, service very good, highly recommended. We would stay here again !
5.8 Okay
Cons: Unfriendly owner.. pool unusable.. restaurant not appealing.. poor response to maintenance issues.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The house was very individual and the outlook from the pontoon was beautiful
Cons: There are many stairs and no lift so if you are in an Attic room you have to hump suitcases up 5 flights of stairs. We are both in our middle sixties and despite being quite fit, struggled. We were not offered any assistance at all. The attic room was big but only had two velux windows so was not conducive to sitting in. The bathroom was tiny with no storage at all for our toiletries and the shower had a curtain not a glass panel. On top of that it required micro adjustments to the shower itself to get an even temperature this was very disappointing.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The view. The jetty. Where the hotel was.
Cons: The staff. Especially the "owner/manager" dude who served us with a cigar in his hand. His manner when we asked him about "his" vegan food sign. Oh no. He didnt understand vegans. Annoyance was the word that springs to mind. The wallpaper that made us dizzy in our room (thats not a joke). The smallest bathroom (not the end of the world but you asked what we didnt like) It was overpriced. €8 for a shot of JD. The one night stay to be honest, was not worth what we had paid. "Boutique" it was not. Think Mr & Mrs jones, not Mr & Mrs Smith. We had stayed the night before in such a wonderful place with a wonderful host for €50 euro cheaper. The behavioir of the other staff. Confused or dazed by a question. The 1 mushroom we had on our plate at breakfast when we had asked to have no meat. Would have been just a nice gesture to add at least one more mushroom. The fact that we kept being told to go "ask the owner guy" for a drink etc as if noone else served, to then not be able to find him cos he was in fact sunbathing on the jetty. In general we would have forgone the other little things we mentioned. But the energy and manner of the owner/manager guy, was quite intollerable. To top it off when we went to see if anyone else had noticed this in reviews, we were met with confirmation that other people had found this to be a problem too and it unfortunatley made our very short stay a bit of a sore point in our honeymoon to see that the staff (whoever replied to very fair reviews) could be so rude and facetious. A shame really.
7.5 Good
Pros: we had a nice room as they had upgraded us but unfortunately they were closing for the season so we felt that we couldn't really take advantage of sitting outdoors and the place seemed a bit dead
Cons: the breakfast was not uptown the same standard as you would expect in a place like this and there was just not enough buzz about the place
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This little place has a great vibe to it. Thick stone walls and fortress-like architecture... makes you feel like you travelled back in time. The setting is incredible; check out the photo of their dock I took at sunset. Great food, friendly staff, walking distance to Kotor. Loved every minute of my stay.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and beautiful setting. A short walk from the main promenade of restaurants. Secure parking on site. The views of the bay from the terrace are beautiful. Nice clean pool although it is quite small. The restaurant menu has plenty of choice and drinks can be served by the pool/on the terrace. The hotel will provide towels to take to the beach.
Cons: The bedroom and bathroom were large and pleasant but could do with updating. The staff were helpful when you asked for something but they could be more attentive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The food and service was amazing. We truly loved this hotel and will most certainly come back
Cons: Not an issue for us, but the hotel is at the very top of the hill overlooking the town, meaning lots and lots of stairs to get back from the main town. If you have an issue with stairs, this would not be the place for you
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is amazing! My husband and I were originally only going to stay at this hotel for 1 night, but due to problems with our hotel in another town, we arrived a day earlier. I contacted Hotel Per Astra and asked if we could arrive a day early and extend our stay with them. They were so helpful in accommodating us, they every upgraded our room. The staff were excellent, they were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing! You certainly didn't walk away hungry. We got to stay in a Luxury Suite and it was beautiful. It was large and had a separate seating area with an incredible view from the balcony! We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we return to Montenegro. I have already recommended this hotel to family that will be travelling to Montenegro next summer.
Cons: Nothing not to like...it was perfect!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The service is great! Breakfast is amazing! Views are very peaceful
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was plentiful, with beautiful views. The location and views from our balcony were stunning.
Cons: Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would have made the stay perfect!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful hotel, and our pleasure to stay at Hotel Per Astra. Set at the top of Perast, you wake up to a view over the small town and bay of Kotor. It is a view that genuinely can’t be matched... We had breakfast by the pool both mornings, and continued to enjoy that view over a simply perfect breakfast. I would defiantly recommend the pancakes! The hotel’s staff helped with my inquiries ahead of our stay, very quickly, and were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our lovely room (junior suite) overlooked the bay, and was incredibly luxurious. A huge (what’s bigger than king-size?) bed was very comfortable. Although gold isn’t necessarily to my design preferences, it was a luxurious change :) A huge shower and spa bath too. I would very happily come back, and if I were you, I wouldn’t hesitate to book a room here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!!! :) - Free upgrade of our room to a huge room with a sea view - Breakfast was perfect, you can choose from a wide range whatever you want and as much as you want - They learned our breakfast habits, serving it automatically - Breakfast by the pool - The sincerely pleasant staff even though they are currently understaffed due to off-season period - Huge double bed - Huge bathroom with jacuzzi
Cons: We liked everything!!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was absolutely stunning. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable with a huge bed. We stayed here for one night for my partners birthday, the staff left balloons in the room and birthday cake and champagne in the spa for us which was a delightful surprise. The staff we extremely friendly and made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was absolutely exceptional! We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Montenegro.

Cons: The pool area sun beds weren’t positioned so they would get much sun throughout the day

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel was very stylish and clean. The room was big, bed was very good and king size. Bathroom also great. Staff very helpful and kind.
Cons: Only developement to do concerns the portions in restaurang, which could be smaller, but better quality. The minibar had a good selection, but too pricy.

Pros: There was so nice people on reaction. They are so helpful. Every night we gathered to play in something. I spent time so wonderful. I do recommend stay in this hostel. And if you see cool and funny Guy from reception Milan ask him to make coffee. It is testy one.

Pros: It was a pleasure to be in this hostel again. We are very satisfied. Hotel staff was helpful and helpful. In particular, I would like to thank Milan and it was very effective for me to choose this hostel again for its interest and friendship. See you soon again, Milan brother.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hostel offers a great city tour free of charge. They handle the ferry & bus tickets for you and a professional guide walks you around the old town. Tip is optional. The receptionist Milan is incredible. I feel like hosted us personally. He took us to the last part of the walking tour of which we missed the beginning, made restourant reservations for us and we had great conversations. Private rooms are large and great value for money. Out of the low season the hostel has are even more activities like BBQ nights around Kotor. In that sense they are like event organizers rather than an accommodation. No doubt the best option if you like to meet other guests and have fun time.
Cons: Rooms were a bit dated, issues with wall covering and little sound-proof. But the hostel has a policy of not allowing noise after 22:30 and the guests were nice so we didn't have any problem. Tiny cleanliness issue of the common areas in the additional building we stayed in. One small spider net at the attic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great. Hostel is located in the heart of the Kotor. Receptionists :D (Milan, Alex, ?) even I cant remember the name of the third one, no doubt equal with others, all were very very good and friendly. They are all great people to have fun, dont hesitate to contact with them at all. Hostel is very comfortable, clean and warm. you should definetely join to excursion to Perast with Slavko, he is also the best guy and guide in Kotor :D very understandable English especially if you are not from Eng speaking countries. Everything was perfect , thanks for providing such service. I highly recommend this hostel.

Overall a wonder stay that we will remember for many years to come.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of this hotel was excellent for exploring the old town as well as for access to bus station. The staff were exceptionally polite, kind and helpful and went out of their way to make us happy. The welcome basket of fruit and delicious deserts was also much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and the room. common areas and breakfast room are exceptionally decorated.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like. Just a few suggestions. A couple of hooks in the bathroom as well as hooks in the room for hanging up jackets. The bathroom was very comfortable however, a little dark. Maybe the lighting could be improved. Also, although the bath and shower unit were very comfortable, it was a little difficult to get out of the bath. A hand rail would greatly improve comfort.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love everything about this property. Its location is perfect to stroll around. Its interior design is beautiful. The staffs are great. Special mention to Mile and the other 2 ladies, they are really doing all their best to serve the guet with 5 star services.
Cons: Nothing. It’a just perfect.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good. A very charming and nice hotel!
Cons: The bed (king size) wasn’t “seem less” in the middle. Very uncomfortable. All flowers and trees along the balcony was almost dead. The restaurant for evening dinner (outside) wasn’t cosy at all.

7.1 Good
Pros: The receptionist and the housekeeper were friendly, available with a smile. The localization is very central to the old town The view from the room; church and mountain. The second one, the origanly booked was better and I felt fine.
Cons: No internet for some rooms. The first night, I did not get the room booked for, they fixed after but the damage has been done. Twin bed instead of double; I fell 2 times because the beds moved. All plugs are broken, you are afraid to use them. Windows were broken, so you can not close them. Music from the bar until 1am.... (it is not the fault from the hotel) but with some windows not broken and better soundproofing will be acceptable.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The room was ok if you don't mind the pub right under ur room.
Cons: We got a room on the second floor at first it seemed like everything is good. Later though we noticed the is a pub right under our room. The noise was pretty loud until 2 am. The person in the reception did not mention anything about this at the check-in. When we complained about the noise there was only a security guard downstairs and he couldn't do anything about it. Why spend 200€/night to get no sleep?
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very welcoming, staff were friendly. The breakfast was super. Definitely recommend the hotel rooftop for a drink! The bed was comfy and it had a very nice shower.
Cons: The hotel is next to a very loud bar that plays music until 1am every night. However, it seems every hotel you could stay in in the old town would have this problem. You would have to stay outside of the old town to avoid this. Not the hotel's fault really.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Considering it’s in such an ancient small town it’s an excellent property.
Cons: The noise. The pub behind has extremely loud music every single night from 2130 to 0100. Very loud. We had to have ear plugs and sleeping tablets. Really frustrating but the staff are helpless to do anything about it. Would recommend staying in a different area of the town.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was great to have a freshly cooked breakfast & staff very help. Also hotel had a lift which is unusual in such a small old hotel.
Cons: It was very noisy as next to a bar that played music until all hours of the night. There are many bars & restaurants in the old town but these didn’t appear to make the same amount of noise. Ear plugs probably essential if you are disturbed by noises. The glass walls on the shower room would put me off if I had been sharing but was travelling solo. so not an issue. Do you really want to see your nearest & dearest on the toilet?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel, staff, breakfast
Cons: Beautifulpleasure
8.8 Excellent
Pros: the breakfast was great. the staff was lovely. The location was perfect.
Cons: we had a problem with the electricity in our room. It went out twice and they had to reset circuit breakers. Also have you ever seen glass see through walls on a bathroom before. Not ok!
