Amazing breakfast. Lovely comfy bed. Very welcoming
There was some dog mess left on the lawn
Nice quiet place to stay . Excellent hosts in Richard and Jane. Good Breakfast ! Good Flapjack!
There was a swimming pool on site, which, while slightly tired, was around my expectations. The dogs on the farm were also friendly, and didn’t attack my dog.
Our B&B owner was very rude, arrogant, ignorant, and could not stop commenting on our dog, stating that we were unkind to keep him on a lead when he’s not good with other dogs. He also yelled at me for playing with his dog, when he didn’t state that I couldn’t, even though I am a child. His apology seemed very fake, and was obviously a method of damage control. He spent lots of time spent talking to other guests, leaving us out quite a lot, and only ever paid as much attention to us after the incident. He seemed to be the only person that we interacted with on the farm, as his wife always kept out of the way, and wasn’t very friendly. He always seemed to dictate where we sat, and seemed to be a control freak. He even insisted that we tie our dog poo bag to the top of our car. He ended up doing it himself, instead of directing us to a bin. When we first met him, he had stains on his clothes, and did not have an adequate appearance to portray to his guests. When we had breakfast, there were dead flies on the windowsill, showing us how unclean the place was. We were also given dirty cloths, instead of paper napkins.
Very friendly host and the location was ideal for walking. We also loved the homemade flapjack placed in our room daily.
Nothing really, only that we didn't have time (due to walking and going out) to have time to use the pool.
This guest house has everything! I couldn’t fault it; the whole family were made to feel very welcome.
