Central - easy to walk everywhere
Hi-Tech equipment not always functioning the way it should. Room not always stocked with coffee, soap, minibar, staff not fluent in English
We loved the look and colours and designs of this hotel. The spa bath in the room was greatly appreciated by the whole family! The staff were very accommodating - they gave us a bigger room as they felt we'd be more comfortable in it. The Abalu Experience was great fun!
This hotel definitely has a boutique feel: Rooms are kind of small but very clean, design is chic, breakfast was good but not great, staff was helpful.
Located in a back alley that get trashed at night cause of the local bars.
The staff was very helpful and supportive. They were easy about providing information about the city, giving first aid and an iron in emergency. The design of the hotel is attractive and funny. You really feel that you are in a special place. The location of the hotel is excellent - just a few steps from the city centre, in a street without much traffic and some nice bars and restaurants are pretty close.
The decoration of the single room is nice and funny. However, it was tiny even for a single room, the window overlooked a what we call a "lufthof" - narrow court in between buildings. The shower and toilet was clean and convenient, but was separated from the bed(room) with a curtain. I could certainly feel the special ambiance of the hotel, but the furniture and decoration are a bit worn. Double rooms with a window may be more attractive, though. Nobody may have taken breakfast apart from me in the morning. It was not mouthwatering and of a great choice. I recommend to go out to a bar near by to have some tasty bites instead of having breakfast in the hotel.
It was close to the Gran Via. It was trying to look funky.
Not a pleasant location, especially at night it's quite grungy. Tiny, tiny rooms.
Friendly helpful staff, clean reception area and rooms. Pleasant decor. Mostly quiet.
(Superior) Room impractical and too small. Bathroom facilities integrated into the room, not in a separate en-suite bathroom. Tiny room with WC did not have it's own washbasin. No storage space or shelves - very limited hanging space. No mirror for dressing-table.
It's very central and the decor is nice, the staff is also very friendly
Breakfast was a bit disappointing, some things did not look fresh, like bread and pastries. Also my single room was very small and it was on the noisy part of the building
The architecture, decor, imaginative aesthetic were fabulous. The staff were courteous and helpful. The owner, in particular, was welcoming and charming--he has a real vision.
The location seems a bit seedy--graffittied buildings and garbage as you approach the hotel. I was assured of its safety, but never felt completely at ease walking around the neighborhood.
very chic, cute..
breakfast is so-so
boutique hotel, near center, value for money, smiling people, warm and cozy.
