I booked and although I tried to research the room size I could not find any info on the hotels site or this site. The room was SO SMALL literally there was less than a foot around the bed. if you had a suit case you could not move around the room with it in it. The interior rooms are very loud. as the noise echos through the courtyard up the building. the bed was SO UNCOMFORTABLE. the mattress had little to no support and the pillows were so thin and unsupportive. I tossed and turned all night and could not find a good position to be comfortable. The bathroom was small too, the shower floor is super slippery and a major hazard when wet without any warning. the TV was also very awkwardly places and only had Spanish channels. The public areas were dark and not very inviting either.
The location was fantastic — close enough to walk to major tourist destinations without the noise! We also were close to the Anton Martin rail station, which made it a breeze to travel across Madrid. The staff were very friendly, the room was luxurious, and we enjoyed a sunset cocktail on the roof. The only constructive feedback I could provide: we need better instructions on managing the climate control. It kept dropping to 18 C each night until we finally just turned it off. But truly, a great place with friendly staff and the *perfect* location!
