BED BUGS!!!!!! Left to Fend for Myself...
I've stayed at this hotel around 15 times in the last 3 years. The decline in cleanliness and class was far from subtle. This last stay however, was what nightmares are made of, and horror movies based on... My first room had a clogged toilet. Instead of unclogging it, they made me wait an hour for another room. Still, everything was done pleasantly. My second room smelled like rest stop bathroom cleaner. OK, I sprayed Lysol everywhere. It also had a blinking light on the phone and the voice mail was from 7/26/17. This was 10/3/17. Strange. No one was in this room for over 2 months? Why? I was soon to find out. I fell asleep... I woke up shortly before 1:00 AM. I went to my bag to get my toothbrush. I, foolishly, leave my bags on the second bed. I saw a strange bug crawling in the crease of the flap. Scared that it was a bed bug I searched the web. Sure enough it was a bed bug. I quickly got my stuff off the bed and didn't see any others. In the 15 minutes it took me to look over everything and collect my belongings, I was under siege. The pillows were now covered. The headboards also. The walls behind the beds too. Talk about coming out of the wood work. They were appearing everywhere. Disgusting doesn't come close to describing it. Creepy falls short too. It gets worse, if you can believe it. I called the front desk. I told them about the problem. They didn't bat an eye. Believed me immediately like they expected it. I asked for another room. Without any care in the world they said they're full and I'd have to find another hotel. Just like it was a non-issue and like they couldn't care less about my predicament. How do you find a hotel at 1 AM in an area you don't live? This staff member didn't even do the bare minimum and offer to call hotels for me. She literally said there's nothing she can do for me. I demanded my refund and told her I want a printed confirmation of the refund. She then has the gall to say she already started her "reports" and doing that would interrupt them and she'd have to start over. I asked her if she seriously thinks I care about her minor inconvenience after my ordeal, and then asked her if she was actually serious. I told her I don't care about her reports or about her having to start them again. She then changed her answer to a blatant lie and claimed she couldn't because the system wouldn't let her in. This was all said without ever touching, or even looking at a computer screen. Most humans don't get lower, or more lazy and immature, than this. Pressing "start" again would inconvenience her. So, at 1:30 in the morning, I was put out on the street with no place to go, and 6 hours from home, all due to a filthy hotel and incompetent staff with zero intellect or foresight to keep a room available for emergencies. They weren't even professional enough to offer help in finding another hotel. No class at all. Stranded, I had to drive the 6 hours home. I felt like things were crawling on me the whole way!!!

Price fluctuates too much. The rate games these hotels play are getting out of hand. Irrespective of that, this hotel is letting itself go. It's now average at best. They clearly don't fix problems as they occur and they just pile up. I've stayed here 4 times in the past year and the cleanliness has gone down. I've stayed here 12 times in the previous 3 years so I have a base for comparison. On top not that, this past time the shower was clogged, dripped and filled itself up over night. The toilet never stopped running and actually squealed from time to time. Spider webs coated with dust hung from the ceiling. Last time A/C was broken. Prior to that room door was broken and there was no water pressure. Bulbs are always burnt out. Sheets regularly have stains. Jacked up cars with missing tires were in the parking lot. The same entrance door has been broken for 3 years. It doesn't lock, so anyone can enter. The card reader is for show. This hotel is clearly aiming for low class. It's a shame. It used to be a decent, affordable midlevel place to stay. I guess the lower prices it has periodically attracts the trash, and they seem to like catering to trash. One other annoyance is the location of electrical outlets. Very inconvenient. Behind the desk at floor level. A nuisance to get to. In this day and age that's just idiotic. Decent places have then on top of the desk. Not on the dirt floor. This used to be my first choice. Now it's my last. Low price is the only thing that will convince me to still use this hotel.

Nothing to like here at all.
Upon check in staff was rude. We got to our room and as soon as we opened the door we were hit with the smell of mold. The walls were wet, had mold growing on them and the curtains and curtain rods had fallen off the wall. Carpets were filthy. We immediately checked out and asked for our money back which was denied and hotel manager won't return our call. DO NOT STAY HERE!

My "good" comfort rating is for the beds, quite nice. The staff--sadly only one desk person--was very nice. Amazing location--super close to Manassas park, across the street from shopping and dining.
Only one desk person? The card readers for outside access didn't work, so the doors were wide open--anybody can come in. Lots of trash in the parking lot; inordinate amount of trash in the halls. This is a Wyndham--with just a bit of management pride it would take 1 hour to clean this trash and not that much money to fix the card readers. Could be a great hotel very easily, it's a shame.
Location to family members during the Thanksgiving Holiday
Upon checking in, the room was dirty and furniture broken. Light fixtures were in need of maintenance and after bringing it to the managers attention the room was cleaned appropriately, fixtures maintained. However, the closet was not repaired and there was precious little in the form of storage for clothing items to unpack belongings.

The only location that appeared to be updated and looked good was the lobby and the hallway leading to the elevator. The hotel smelled of mildew, The room and the bathroom and furniture are all outdated.
ONE, yes ONE elevator in the entire hotel of about 300 rooms, I'd say. And, the hotel has to be from 1980...slower than molasses. The lobby, elevator and all hallways were dirty and made me think bed bugs immediately. Deplorable.
Goods and bads but and excellent stay
It was a home away from home and the pool was great the kids loved it .
Could of had maybe a free breakfast and the pool was suppose to be heated and felt very cold,
Our Kayak reservation took an egregious amount of time to go through. We were on our way back home on valentines day and set the reservation in the car about an hour out. when we arrived the hotel had not received the reservation but the staff worked diligently to fix the situation.
We had a room on a floor below the main floor through a poorly lit hallway and the room we had did not have the door shut all the way when we arrived. nothing really kills the mood quite like having to check if there is an axe murderer in the bathroom.
