Mount Joy’s name is derived from the sailing ship that carried the original settlers over the Atlantic: a replica of which is mounted along Main Street in the heart of the town today. Although our hotel has a Manheim address, the town of Manheim is about 5 miles away, with the Mount Joy town line situated just across the street from the hotel. Enjoy easy access to attractions like Pennsylvania Dutch Country, Hershey’s Chocolate World and The Sight & Sound Millennium Theatre. Relax in a bright and spacious guest room, equipped with a refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. Work comfortably at the ergonomic desk, and check emails with free WiFi. Pros (+) Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Lobby and guest room were kept clean.
Cons (-) Huge bunch of kids in lobby when we returned to hotel on Sunday night. Guess that they had arrived from Hershey Park and were traveling to sightsee in DC the next morning
