Good 7.5
Pros: warm welcome, more than anyone can ever ask for.. Conor is real gentleman.. my mum was really happy. the breakfast was to die for with everything homemade..
Cons: hardly anything
Okay 5.8
Pros: Traditional feel . Bathrooms renovated and feeling very clean.
Cons: No travel cot, no baby chairs was provided .Room very small. At the reception we felt unwelcome. We were looking forward use less car and walk to town, but its not posible, especially with buggy. there are no footpath and need cross busy fast road.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The breakfast was the best of all the b&bs we stayed in!
Excellent 9.5
Pros: Gleann Fia is an excellent country house situated close to Killarney but at a sufficient distance to limit the effect of Killarney’s hustle and bustle. It is a beautiful property whose proprietors (Conor and Bridget) are the epitome of welcoming hosts. Everything is superbly run. The rooms are spacious with modernized bathrooms. There is a delightful lounge with an ‘honour’ bar. Breakfast is fantastic with much home made produce.
Cons: It was very busy when we were there, making breakfast a challenge when all were present but this is a minor concern, overall.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved the location it was out of town. We had a car and it was excellent ,feeling like you were in the country but yet so close to town. Very relaxing and beautiful , everything you would ever need on vacation . Bridget and Connor were terrific, helping with any activities or recommendations of the area. I would definitely stay there again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved our stay at Glenn Via Country House. Connor & Bridget were very welcoming, helpful and made sure we were happy with everything.

Pros: It really is a beautiful castle but quirky in a sweet way. The rooms are beautiful but the Roman statues seemed odd.

Pros: We wish we would have known about this place before arriving in Ireland. We spent about a week going from town to town. We stayed at a bunch of different hotels and b&bs that were pretty bad despite having nice ratings. We aren't picky but a few seemed to have really old mattresses. Walking into the Onch View Lodge was like a breath of fresh air. The hosts were friendly and talkative. The view from our room was nice. Our room was huge and was very nice. The breakfast they cooked us in the morning was also very nice. The hosts also went out of their way to help us plan the rest of our trip around Ireland. The furnishings in the room were all contemporary like at a Marriot. Best sleep yet
Cons: It's about 5 minutes outside of town. That's the only thing I can think of but it wasn't a big deal. This place is a lovely steal. Be sure to stay here if you're in the area
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The house is absolutely beautiful, furnished with taste and it feels like you are staying at a high end hotel. The owners are the loveliest couple and are very keen to make you feel at home. The property is on the hills above Milltown, great base to visit ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula, and literally among fields full with sheep. It was so silent, the best night of sleep I had in months!!!
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Comfortable and clean B&B. Warm & friendly hosts. Great breakfast. Area was like a postcard “Beautiful “.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Large rooms and bathrooms. Wonderful hospitality.
Cons: Hairdryer in bathroom.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Probably the NICEST place we have ever rented. Everything was soooo perfect, quite location, surrounded by nature, the house is exceptionally well kept and clean and the hosts are super nice. Truly there is nothing to complain. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!
Cons: That it's not my house! ;-)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Gorgeous place with lovely views and great all round would defintly stay again
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Definitely gonna book again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Stayed in Inch view lodge over the weekend, very friendly and helpful owners & delicious breakfast. The house was absolutely gorgeous and the beds were so comfortable. Bernadette was extremely welcoming. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful house! Very cosy. The owners were soooo nice. We felt home! The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely go there again. Very clean!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This was without a doubt our favourite place we stayed at in all of Ireland during our 2-week visit. The owners were an absolute delight, and the B&B was so sleek, modern and tastefully decorated. The owner is a clothing designer and her sense of style and good taste was evident throughout the house. The breakfast was so delicious, our room was spacious with a super comfy king size bed, and the bathroom was stunning. The grounds around the property were lovely as well.
Cons: That we weren't able to stay longer. We were only in Milltown for 2 days and if we'd known how nice this place was, we would have made this our home base and done day trips to see the sights from here.
Excellent 9.5
Pros: Beds were super comfortable and the room was very quiet, and was spotless,tv had Netflix which is a big bonus I’d definitely return
Cons: Would be handy if they had a little coffee/tea making section. The owner did make us some without any hesitation it’s just would have been easier if we didn’t have to bother him

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice garden, location. Hotel building is traditional.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Highly recommend staying at the Killeen House Hotel - great location, fabulously run by true hospitality professionals (hi Steve!) who want you to have the best possible experience here. Excellent dinner at Rozzers one night, luxurious breakfast every morning, and elegant pub dinners available too! Close to Gap of Dunloe for hiking, Ring of Kerry and Dingle, but away from tourist congestion. Elegant, sophisticated, warm & welcoming, and friendly staff really made us feel at home. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed, great bathroom. Outstanding.
Cons: We had a magnificent experience at this hotel. One comment: the pictures on the website don't do it justice.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything ! From the time Stephen greeted us, until we left we were treated fabulously. Bar food was beautiful, and the staff were so friendly. Breakfast was delicious and again the staff were second to none. A really lovely experience.
Cons: Nothing negative to say. Didn't like leaving. Location is little away from Killarney itself if you wanted to go in late at night to have a meal or a drink, but I'm sure a taxi could have been organised.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location fabulous - very clean and comfortable hotel. Staff really friendly - would recommend this hotel again. The surroundings are beautiful and the staff were really helpful. Generally a lovely location, very clean,
Cons: We went down a little late for breakfast - eggs were lovely but the rest I would say was not cooked fresh. It was acceptable but could have been a weensy bit fresher.

Cons: I cannot think of anything.

Pros: One of the best B&Bs I've ever stayed in in Ireland. Been traveling to Ireland for 33 years and lived there for 23 years before, this lady knows what she's doing. Great rooms, probably the only king bed I've slept on in a B&B,great bathroom, T capital and a fan in case our room got too warm . Outstanding breakfast with additional choices of food available in the dining area . The refrigerator was stocked with some adult goodies available for purchase!
Cons: It's only minor, dragging our bags up two flights of stairs. That probably wouldn't work for more senior customers. This did not affect our enjoyment of the stay

Excellent 9.5
Pros: Stunning views of Killarney lakes. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely walking path into the town.
Cons: The facilities look a bit old fashion.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location was ideal for a walk into Killarney centre. The hotel was surrounded by beautiful scenery which we enjoyed at all meal times at the hotel. The breakfast had good choices and variety. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: We enjoyed every aspect of our stay.

Cons: Couldn't find one
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Excellent location, delicious food, breathtaking views, friendly and professional staff. Would love to go back!
Cons: Nothing really. Bed was ok (not in negative way), just could have been more comfortable.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: Staff very good, location very good and rooms very big big and clean
Good 6.0
Pros: The scenery is about the best asset of the hotel. Breakfast was lovely. Rooms basic but clean.
Cons: Extremely quiet in the bar area at night.Nothing to keep us there. Thank God for pubs with a bit of life in Killarney itself.
Good 7.0
Pros: I liked the fact that we could play golf right at the property.
Cons: We [2 couples] asked if they had a trolly to bring in our luggage. We planned to do it ourselves. They sent an older gentleman with a very unpleasant attitude. He was probably much too old to be handling and lifting luggage and he was not an asset for the hotel. He accused me of being 'impatient' when I merely told him that the red suitcase goes to the other room. Other than this unpleasant experience we enjoyed our stay.
Good 6.3
Pros: Hotel was lovely & entertainment was very good in the bar, views of the lake were outstanding. Lovely walkway into killarney.
Cons: Rooms very far away from the foyer. There was a baby crying in the room next door & woke us very early. ~Bed covers & curtains were very drab
Good 6.7
Pros: i think the food was excellent, also the sceenery,it is ideal for a quiet time away.the fact that you have access to the national park is perfect.nice bar ,good drink.
Cons: the bathroom in the room could do with grade.
Okay 5.7
Pros: the view, the staff at the swimming pool, the playground, the general friendliness of the staff.the atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxed in general.value for money.
Cons: horrified by the use of blankets on beds, which no matter how thoroughly cleaned will always contain "material" from numerous previous guests.dissapointed that there is no way to walk around +enjoy the grounds, without having to turn back, especially given the setting. Disliked the pungent odour of chlorine emanating from pool all along corridors to the bedrooms. Also the sandpit near the playground was full of dog excrement + could easily be covered,I had to rescue my 2 year old from making a "sand pie".. otherwise a pleasant stay.

Pros: i liked the surroundings and setting on the golf course absolutely beautiful. room was clean but little old fashioned and could do with modernisation. rest of hotel very nice. staff lovely
Cons: as i said rooms could be modernised the dressing table was old and chipped
Good 6.4
Pros: very clean - the entire hotel. staff very friendly and helpfull, location ideal as it was a romantic night away
Cons: no
Excellent 8.0
Pros: What a family friendly place!!! And the view is unbelievable. One morning we woke up one morning to see the moon setting up above the hills over the lake. The moon looked like a pearl sitting on the hills. We were at the Castlerosse on Easter weekend. There were activities for the children, such as an egg hunt. If you have children, then be sure to bring their bathing suits and a bathing cap. The full Irish breakfast was tasty and the panoramic view of the lakes from the dining room was something I won't forget. I will recommend this hotel to all of my friends who are planning a trip to Ireland.

Pros: Comfy bed, amazing strong shower and an unreal breakfast - Pancakes, mushrooms and beans with my eggs and freshly cut watermelon. Location is more than ideal and close to everything. Highly recommend!! Also we were accommodated for an early check in due to a wedding and they even swapped rooms to do so. I must say reception staff and breakfast staff were very helpful and attentive and could not ask for better!
Cons: Nothing i did not like, the building itself is a bit old but don't be fooled. All the important things were spot on!
Excellent 9.3

Excellent 10.0
Pros: This was an excellent place, traditional house, very well managed, quiet, spacious, newly furnished and spotlessly clean family room. And we loved the evenings in the commonly used salon, sitting next to the fireplace, chatting with some Irish people who were also guests there and playing cards with our kids. The breakfast was delicious.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location and very helpful and friendly owners
Okay 4.5
Pros: Very nice host.
Cons: Uncomfortable bed.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Breakfast was good with good options for all including vegetarian and gluten free. Friendly, helpful staff with good knowledge of places to eat and drink in town and those we tried were good recommendations. Lovely golf course and National Park opposite with a good walk into town. (Took about an hour) but well worth the effort.
Cons: To get into town, there was no bus service from Fossa although the recommended cab service was good and was only 10 euros.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Situation overlooking river....very relaxing. Hosts were very helpful. Service was excellent.
Cons: Nothing ciuld have been better. We haf a two-bedroom apartment overlooking river.
Good 6.3
Pros: Great location
Cons: It was overall a bit tired.
Good 7.0
Pros: The hotel has a certain charm. and considering its an older style building with narrow halls, the noise factor within the actual building was pretty good considering. The front lounge with fire had a nice tempting atmosphere. Staff were helpful. Parking was easy. We stayed 2 nights.
Cons: Depending which room you are allocated will determine your response. We had a front room (103) on 1st floor facing the front road which is about 40 metres away. There is no double glazing on any of the hotel windows. The noise factor day and nighttime can be overwhelming worse if you open a window which you really need to do for some fresh air. Its on the ring of Kerry road route. The bathroom is small, (smaller than a cruise ships says it all). Water pressure was an issue in our room, so no strong shower etc possible.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Right across from part of the park. Lovely bright room.
Cons: Bathroom was a bit tight for two.
Good 6.3
Pros: Breakfast was good. Location was perfect as the rest of our party were staying in Castlerosse Hotel which was located nearby.
Cons: We had a 2 bedroomed room which was adequate but basic. Shower area very small and we could not regulate the water which was very hot. Had to put the kettle on the floor to boil as there was no socket near table. Room was stuffy. Overall did not think it was worth the money that was charged.
Good 7.5
Pros: Nice cosy hotel, large room, hot showers.
Cons: No issues
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was so welcoming and helpful, we were greeted with a smile as soon as we walked through the door. We stayed in a gorgeous & spacious room with a balcony located on the front of the property. The bed was soft and pillows comfy. The hotel is very quaint and quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay. I enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace downstairs in the evening to wind down from the busy day. I highly recommend the breakfast! Continental style choices plus a variety of Irish meals cooked to order. The location is wonderful, less than a 10 minute drive into town.
Cons: Couldn't connect to wifi in our room and had to go downstairs in the common areas to get a connection. But that gave me an excuse to sit in front of the fireplace, so I can't complain!
Excellent 8.8
Cons: Very friendly and a good breakfast nice and quiet relaxing

Pros: The bar was clean and nice but was closed until we asked to open it
Cons: we arrived at 3:30pm and given a key to our room. we went to our room and the bed wasnt even made up and the room still dirty. also the cleaners were roaring around the halls from 7:30 to 11am. the room seemed to be located beside there staff room.we left the hotel exhausted due to noise
Good 7.5
Pros: Not near the town, you need a car. Clean neat hotel.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and neat. Good situation for seeing sites of Kerry - and Southern Ireland
Excellent 9.5
Pros: Food was good beds very comfy
Cons: Everything was very good enjoyed the stayvery
Good 6.8
Pros: Breakfast was only OK. Poor quality sausages & rashers. Rooms were comfy & clean, if a bit dated. Bathroom door didn't close.
Cons: Too much noise in the bedroom areas. Clearly there were a lot of coach tours that had an early start. We stayed because we were at a wedding locally. We were woken up at 5/6am with people talking loudly & banging doors etc. When we came in late at 1.30am, we were quiet in consideration for people with an early start. The same consideration should have been afforded to us. Instead of enjoying a lie in, we had to get up and leave. Guests should be reminded to keep the noise down.
Excellent 9.5
Pros: we did not take breakfast
Cons: food available could have been better
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The decor in lobby so bright and Cheerful....staff so friendly....
Cons: Outside the front of hotel don't give it all when you walk in its a wow
Good 7.5
Pros: Music in the bar on our first night. Manager in restaurant went out of her way to give us a lovely breakfast.
Cons: Better signage to the hotel
Okay 5.5
Pros: Breakfast staff very nice
Cons: The lady on reception as we checked out was extremely rude - she did not utter one word to us - did not ask how our stay was or anything. We asked if we could leave our bags with her while we went to collect our car at Ballyseede Castle - she was extremely put out , threw her eyes up to heaven & asked how long we would be. We said approx 30 minutes & she ungraciously opened the door to reception & allowed us leave our bags. When we returned, again she did not say one word to us - just ignored us & continued speaking to another member of staff. Very poor customer service.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fabulous breakfast area self service. Eat and enjoy
Cons: There are no problems to report. Very enjoyable experience

Pros: Big kitchen and accomodating staff
Cons: Some toilet seats needs to be replaced
Good 7.0
Pros: Beautiful old building in lovely surroundings and very close to Killarney. Lots of local knowledge and ideas on what to do. Library and day room complete the picture.
Cons: A large group of teenagers were at the hostel at the same time. They were well behaved but it lead to a shortage of cutlery in the self catering kitchen, lack of fridge space and sitting room. The trash sorting system needs better organising and regular emptying. The mattresses in our room were old and worn out and did not fit the beds. Some maintenance needed here and there. Observation: I know that the kitchen closes at 10 pm but when a group of 4 adult travellers arrived just before that closing time and wanted to make some food - please be generous. I am sure one could agree with them that they tidy up after themselves and hold them accountable. Asking them to rather drive into Killarney to get some take away is not quite the spirit I hoped for in a youth hostel.
Excellent 9.5
Pros: Lovely old house in a park land setting. Had great communal rooms to relax in. Staff friendly.
Cons: Washing machine/drier needs some tlc.
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: The kitchen was large with plenty of seating. Lack of fridge space an issue though. Overall, be prepared for low end hostel experience.
Cons: The management is milking visitors for as much as possible without putting anything into the upkeep of the facility. Even my brother, a seasoned traveller, opted out of using the shared shower at the end of the hallway. Location really isnt that great, especially if you dont have a car.
Excellent 9.3
Pros: The staff went out of their way to make our big group feel at home. We had a lovely stay. It’s cheap, cheerful, very clean and you’ll be welcomed like old friends!
Cons: The mattresses are bit lumpy but fine for a few nights stay.
Excellent 9.5
Pros: English receptionist was brilliant and helpful.
Excellent 9.5
Pros: Friendly staff; family room with quiet location. Offered breakfast could be combined with own components
Cons: -
Excellent 9.3
Pros: Beautiful mansion. Common rooms were amazing with high ceilings and comfy couches. Very friendly staff. Hot shower. Great location: about 5 minutes drive from Killarney. The grounds around the mansion are teeming with wildlife. We saw deer and lots of bunnies.
Cons: We didn't have a room in the mansion but in a small building next to it. The breakfast is 4 euros, but very basic: cereal or toast with jam.
Okay 5.0
Pros: The big kitchen and the equipment in it. Cooking the big meal was the only thing we enjoyed there, and the movie selection they have was also good.
Cons: The building is very run down. Although it was a sunny day, themoment we saw it from the outside, from seeing the sign on the main road into the slip road, and seeing the building itself we felt depressed by it, seeing the room being so small, and we need to climb different sets of stairs to our room, all the way we feel this is a very depressing site. There is no upkeep of e building. It could have been a beautiful building but it felt derelict. The bathroom is tiny considering it's a shared one. The shower room is a just 4 walls enclosure and a simple shower head. I told my kids they don't need to take a shower that night as the shower facility make you feel you want to stay away from it.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The games room and tv room were cosy. It was nice that a breakfast was provided for a cheap 4€. The toilet was leaking, but when I mentioned it to the reception, it was quickly related.
