Convenient location

Unlike many of Narita hotels, it's right by Narita station, so that you don’t have to rely on holel' s shuttle bus to move around. Restaurant on the 1st floor is reasonable. Large buth on the 2nd floor was comfortable.

Small room

Clean, convenient but tiny

I wholeheartedly agree with Rachael's review: it's well located, clean, and staff is very friendly (they found some valuables we forgot). For some it could be a challenge to get down from the station to the hotel: the escalator is only going upwards. Perhaps the current works at that entrance will alleviate this. One can't blame this on the hotel though, it's the station itself.

It's tiny, very tiny. A double bedroom is in fact half a single bedroom, with just an arm's length to the wall. Getting two Western people in that bed is a challenge. Even the the Japanese would consider the room somewhat restrictive spatially.

Great cheap option for one night stay in Narita

I liked the price ($56 for a double) and the location near the train stations. I also liked the public bath on the 2nd floor and cleanliness of the property.

The rooms were extremely small (even based on Japanese standards). If you are traveling to Narita via train, you get dropped off at the train station which is on the top of a hill, above the hotel. There are no elevators or escalators, so you need to carry your bags down stairs or around the block, using the road.
