Pros: The one bedroom Suite was as big as an apartment! The kitchen was well stocked, the bathroom beautiful and modern . The beds, including the sofa bed were very comfortable. Three of us stayed here but we hosted the other five family members in here for dinner on the last night. That’s how big the place is. We have stayed here in other rooms over the years and they have never failed to delight and surprise us.
Cons: Nothing to say!

Cons: Need more toilets.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Homey atmosphere. Great location.
Cons: That we only had one night!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Free coffee in the morning, very friendly staff
Cons: Room close to toilet, so fan of toilet was a bit noisy
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A clean and friendly hostel right in Nelson, which is terrific for checking out this very interesting town. Good internet, lockable double room for us and good access to shared toilets and shower rooms. Excellent value.
Cons: You need to sort out parking round the back or pay for metered street parking up until 5pm. Registration not until 4pm but there is a comfortable lounge and internet if you need to wait for this. I'm getting a little old for climbing up into top bunks, but comfortable once I got there!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great
Cons: Loud at night by street
7.0 Good
Pros: On Baker Street. Big lockers. Comfy bed.
Cons: Limited parking, hard to spot and not properly warned about.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beds were comfy and the private rooms were super cozy. I had a great sleep both nights and I’m a light sleeper so that says a lot. The building is old with original fir floors, extra high ceilings - a real character building. We were able to store our bikes, use the big chest freezer and fridge for our food for our big road trip. Loved our stay and would highly recommend for those looking for an alternative to standard, cookie cutter accommodation. Also, couldn’t beat the location, right on the Main Street where there are many great restaurants and cute shops but at the far end so not many people wander past this far.
Cons: The inn needs a larger area for bike storage in the summer months. We had to lock our expensive mountain bikes outside in the private patio area our second night because the bike storage room was full.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great free coffee and an awesome kitchen for cooking meals.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I loved my spacious double bed room overlooking tree lined street with a cool breeze blowing in thru the window
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location Kitchen was clean Building
Cons: Beds too small No screens on windows

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful restored old house. Rooms are nicely appointed, beds are comfortable. Close to town with parking in the back.
Cons: Being an old house the floors are a bit uneven so don't expect to play marbles on the floor or anywhere else in Nelson for that matter ;)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, location, decor
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location right by Baker street, but far enough up to be quiet. Parking on site.
Cons: Not comfortable for the heat of summer — options were stuffy with windows closed or very loud window AC. (Most places I’ve stayed in Nelson have this problem)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, centrally located, with friendly, helpful owners. I highly recommend, and we surely will return, as we were delighted.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the cleanliness and decor. The hosts were superb giving us extra bits of info for a speedy check in plus options on carrying through. Very quiet accommodation with onsite parking. Close in so we could leave the car and walk to restaurants, etc.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect as my girlfriend and I were attending the Kootnay Burlesque Festival across the street at the Capital Theatre. And we were in walking distance but off the main street for shopping and dinning. We booked again upon leaving for a weekend in September!
Cons: More parking for guests! Having to be worried about getting a ticket at the meter is not something you want to deal with while on vacation. Although the staff did put change in the meters for us upon arrival until 5pm.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Super clean and comfy
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room, Sycamore, was very comfortable on the ground floor, with coffee making machine, fridge and microwave. They don’t do breakfast, but there were bowls, small plates and cutlery. It’s very close to quite a lot of small restaurants. They only have four parking spaces at the back, if you don’t get one of these you need to park on the street outside. There are parking meters but the hotel will pay them late afternoon and until 11.am.
Cons: There wasn’t anything we were disappointed with.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great welcome from the staff on reception , lots of local information given out . Parking was paid by hotel . Nice decking area to rear of hotel and small terrace to the front . Bedroom very comfortable.
Cons: If you don’t like steps there are a lot of them to the front door
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff.
Cons: A cell tower too close to our bedroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The spacious, thoughtfully appointed room and the wonderful glassed in sun room overlooking the town.
Cons: None noted.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to downtown, coffee shops and restaurants. Quiet location. Lovely character boutique hotel.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was absolutely lovely! Shower was incredible remote controlled. Bed was one of the best I’ve ever slept in.
Cons: Stairs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very comfortable but unusual. We were on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. The staff will carry your bags if you ask. There is no desk or chair in the room but there is a large comfortable common living room area outside the room. There is a hot tub on the roof of the hotel and a sauna on the 2nd floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The steam shower and roof top hot tub were amazing. The bed was super comfy, especially awesome sheets!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It is very small, quite and clean hotel. The beds are comfortable.
Cons: It will be good to have cream for coffee in the room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Laurie was so welcoming and friendly. We asked for suggestions for a nice dinner, since it was our anniversary. We followed one of her suggestions and walked around the cozy and quaint town of Nelson and found a restaurant. Lovely evening! Delicious dinner! Awesome facilities!
Cons: The shower directions were somewhat complicated for a quick shower instead of a shower massage. Illustrated directions for a basic shower would be helpful.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: location was within walking distance of everywhere we went. Facility was wonderful and staff were very friendly and helpful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Simplicity of the room decor
Cons: Just a small table/stand in the bathroom to hold toiletries
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The shower and the patio
Cons: There’s a dancing bar in the basement and they have an extraordinary sound system. The night I was there there was a DJ that liked bass a lot and the whole hotel (and my bed) was shaking and vibrating to the sound of electronic dance music. It stopped at 2Am sharp. Something to take in consideration
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic hotel. Loved the rooftop spa pool and deck. We didn't take advantage of the free night club access, but that is a great perk. The "quiet room" is in fact perfectly quiet. The shower is amazing, includes a steam room feature. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Cons: Rooms are small compared to standard big-brand hotel rooms. We didn't mind, but definitely better for couple than 2 singles in terms of space.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Super clean, modern, awesome location. Rooms were very comfy - LOVED how pet friendly it was, staff said hi and everyone we saw had a dog with them but it was super clean (you would never know! we love our pets but also love being clean and fur-free). Showers were too technologically advanced for us but really neat and the heated floors/modern bathrooms had amazing contrast with the rustic brick of the older building itself. Club downstairs was loud but there were earplugs and it wasn't actually that loud in the rooms (just in the lounge downstairs).
Cons: Didn't see staff very much (would have been fine) so things in the lounge upstairs weren't replenished while we were there (cold tea in dispenser was fresh on friday when we arrived but not replenished by sunday (no ice/was almost gone), flowers in a vase on the counter was moldy as well, and there were dishes collecting.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lauri Hotel manager was outstanding

Cons: The bed was a bit too “hard” for our liking but that being said, other people might prefer that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything
Cons: no
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Close to the centre of town, with parking across the street (so you might have to lug your bags). Very nice Italian restaurant next door, which doubles-up as the breakfast place for the hotel --- but will cost you extra! Room was super-comfy and front desk helpful.
Cons: Was confused as to where was breakfast. Ended up having it at the Italian restaurant adjoining hotel, but one person was serving 14-plus people and so service was slow. Parking lot is quite a distance if you have heavy bags.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and pleasant staff, fridge with freezer, microwave, nice bedding and pillows, fluffy towels, good coffee, coffee and ice water in the lobby. Very good restaurant next door.
Cons: Noisy air conditioner.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Rye toast, bacon and sausages were good
Cons: Hash browns were a bit on the heavy, thick side. Service was slow and some off food was cool.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and spacious accommodation. Instead of a bedspread, the light comforter was cleverly wrapped in thick, quality, freshly laundered white sheets! Super friendly staff.
Cons: Hard to think of anything.
6.3 Good
Pros: The room was very nicely decorated.
Cons: I was expecting 2 double beds not one with a pull out. The pullout was very uncomfortable which resulted in a very sore back. There was obvious mold and mildew in the shower stall and around the drain in the sink. It’s a really sweet little motel and I would recommend it for sure if you just attended to those things.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had breakfast in our room each day and the kitchenette in the room was very convenient and well stocked. We liked having the suite with a separate bedroom - worked well for my granddaughter and me. The location was convenient to the main part of town and easy to walk places. Lastly, even though the units were full, it was very quiet at all times. slept great!
Cons: Nothing.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice place to stay, very easy to find when we arrived in Nelson.. staff were very friendly and accommodating! For a quick in and out place to stay, this is your place.
7.5 Good
Pros: Price was reasonable, small extra fee for pet ($15) also seems reasonable. The water pressure was great in the shower. We liked that there was ice available for free.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Pool. Restaurant. Staff
Cons: Location advertised as near downtown - not really walking distance. Room overlooked parking lot; would have preferred the other side but that would’ve required an upgrade to $200 basic room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location by the lake. Friendly and helpful staff, spacious room with 2 queen beds.
Cons: Complementary internet was slow, our room on ground floor backed on to the car park, air con from other rooms was noisy at night and kept us awake.
6.3 Good
Cons: No view from our room. It was a very drab and dark room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was a comfortable place to stay with all the amenities one would need and a great restaurant on site.
6.8 Good
Pros: Comfort of the bed
Cons: Busy hotel. Dark inside. Food in restaurant is not Good. Breakfast we had next the entree hotel in a coffee:crêpe restaurant . Good coffee but you sit on parking lot, in restaurant hotel we could not have breakfast because there was a brunch...strange. Lot of noice in corridors at night.

Cons: Sound system and acoustics in the meeting room were very bad, making it hard to hear our presenters.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was fantastic.
Cons: We were in a room on the main floor, facing the road. Even though the room was tastefully done, it felt like we were in a dungeon. I certainly did not expect that for the price I paid.
7.5 Good
Pros: Being right on the lake is why we stay here
Cons: The cost is a bit high and I wish the restaurant/lounge was open past 10 on a Saturday during the summer

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly and full of good advice. The rooftop patio was great! We didn't have time to try the sauna but it looked lovely. The room was modern and clean. The location was perfect - you are right downtown Nelson and walking distance to everything.
Cons: The parking lot is very small so unless you get there early don't expect to have a spot. Otherwise everything was perfect!
7.5 Good
Pros: Was there a free breakfast? We weren't told anything about it. We ate elsewhere.
Cons: The room was very small for the money we paid, but nicely done. We felt it was a lot of money for what we got. Our room was okay, but our friends room was very noisy. They never got any sleep all night due to people walking in the hall as well as a party next door. They said they would never stay there again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice renovated older hotel. Funky. Good bar and food. Central, quiet.
Cons: Price. Despite the USD exchange rate it is still a bit pricey.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I always stay at the Adventure Hotel when I come to Nelson. Everything is excellent from the moment you walk in the door. The staff are always lovely, the rooms are spotless and comfortable and it is in a perfect location to walk to shops, restaurants etc.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I found the room, the staff, and the location wonderful. Hotel close to restaurants and shopping. I will stay here again next time I’m in Nelson
Cons: The pub downstairs was closed for renovations, but that just shows they’re maintaining their standards
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved the Adventure Hotel! Beautiful style and as orange is one of our favourite colours we loved the rooms with their high, orange ceilings. The bathroom was excellent - all the things you need and nothing you don't. The bathtub in particular was relaxing, deep and had a good area at the end of the tub for books, towels, or a person to sit and keep company. Great air conditioning, excellent pillows and bedding, close to everything. Cafe at other end of block has very good coffee, and the veggie bagel was delicious and inexpensive. Main drag is one street up with good restaurants and excellent shopping. Great common room with communal fridges and cooking facilities.
Cons: No elevator! When you're carrying a lot of luggage and have to go up two flights it was a big job after a long day of driving. Limited parking - we arrived after dinner and as downtown is always hopping there was no free parking to be had and the small hotel lot had already filled up so we had to park on the street where pay parking came into effect at 9am and be up to move the car.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly upon arrival. Great location, free parking, and good local coffee!
Cons: We booked a small queen room but it was better suited for one person, the bathroom has a swinging glass door - you can see right through to the toilet, so don't expect any privacy!
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is perfect for a stay in Nelson your walking distance from a lot of restaurants and the main area. Beds were comfy, there's a restaurant and bar onsite as well.
Cons: The particular night we stayed they had there parking blocked off for an event and we had to street park, I found this unfortunate as I choose this place knowing it had parking.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff is very professional and helpful. Accommodations have a very modern vibe, and the staff clearly takes pride in their individual roles to make it a comfortable and enjoyable visit.
Cons: Nothing negative to say. If the coffee was running low in the kitchen area, the staff was very prompt in replacing it. With a smile at that! Any issue we had was hastily corrected by the friendly accommodating staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean rooms friendly staff excellent food in Definitely would give this hotel a 9/10
Cons: Beds are to hard no box spring mattress Is on wooden frame
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Tailored for us bikers.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: comfortable bed, clean room , and a great location . All I ever require from a hotel .
Cons: Floors were squeeky but I guess that is part of staying in an older building . It wasn't a problem at all .

7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were welcoming, beds were comfortable and continental breakfast provided
Cons: We were above swimming pool and we found the room humid. Not sure if this was anything to do with pool. It was a little out of town but all in all a good overnight stay.

Pros: The location and price.
Cons: I found a dirty footprint in our bed. When I asked the cleaning staff to change our sheets, they changed the top sheet but not the bottom. I went to the front desk and it was done. Very disturbing to think our sheets hadn’t been changed!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, right by the lake. Very clean. Friendly staff.
Cons: All nearby restaurants were closed when we got back at night. We missed not having a microwave in the room so that we could warm up the food we had with us. No big deal.

Pros: The staff were extremely accommodating and the location was superb. My king-sized bed was five star comfortable and the hotel was within easy walking distance of the entire old town area.
Cons: A dedicated parking area for guests would be nice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the price the staff the location the room
Cons: there is nothing to put in this category
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good and added to the value of the cost. Inside the room was excellent, as was the bathroom. The location is very convenient on the highway into Rossland.
Cons: My wife and I are both 75. Ideally we want to be on the ground floor unless there is an elevator (which there wasn't). We parked the car at the front door, but had to carry our luggage up some initial steps to get to the ground floor and then up a back staircase at the other end of the hall. This stairwell did not have hand railings, which is probably a building code violation. We need a way to determine if there is an elevator in the accommodation and/or the availability of a ground floor room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location.
Cons: Very basic small room. View to a wall.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful, the room big and clean with air conditioning. The location was great as well.

Pros: Beautiful look of the lake. Clean room, comfortable beds.

Cons: No microwave.
5.0 Okay
Pros: I love trains - but not at 4:30AM blowing the whistle just meters from my bedroom! There was a warning on the book.ing info, however...it was a rude awakening. No point trying to get back to sleep after all the train passed by, so I checked out and found somewhere to grab a coffee/breakfast for the road.
Cons: See above regarding "love trains....BUT..."
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful
Cons: The train runs past twice a day (they let you know that when you book your stay) at uncontrolled times and has to blast its horn at a crossing right outside. They do provide earplugs for at night though.

Cons: The train It was loud early in the morning
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Older, but very nice and clean place. Nice comfortable room with nice view. Good location. Air condition a bit to noisy, so the train was not a big deal. Will come back.
