The water park was great for the kids and us adults
Our balcony had a bird nest in it and was covered in bird poop so we could not even use it which was disappointing
Vacation
We had two 5 year olds on our trip. We bought the paw pass for each of them and they loved it. There are so many benefits to it. Our stay was for one night and it was hard to get all the activities in in that time. The water slides, wave pool and lazy river were a lot of fun. The MagiQuest game was awesome! There is a lot of walking to it, so wear good shoes. The kids really liked the nightly dance party. The pizza place had really good pizza.
We had to rent a locker for our things at the water park because there were never any available chairs or tables. This worked out for the day we checked out but still wanted to swim. The lazy river had no order to it. There were a ton of empty tubes they ran us down at one point and instead of lazy, it was stressful. On the other side, when loading into the tubes, you wait off to the side at the stairs and wait for someone to unload or an empty tube to come around. Someone working at the park should be managing the loading and unloading of the tubes. The floor plan on the first floor by the water park needs work. It’s always congested.
Family Fun
Lots of activities and food - no need to ever leave site. I have always booked directly with GWL, however, using Kayak was wonderful.
Great family time. However, there is an extra charge around every corner. Not a cheap vacation, but fun.
Great pool facilities
Great pool facilities Fantastic staff and atmosphere Perfect for families The only ready I can't give perfect score is because food was not good
The pizza is good but all other food isn't With evryone being so nice it's hard to complain Makes no sense why everything is good but the food
awesome time spent with the family
When the rooms are cleaned, checked and aired ...little details should also be taken into consideration example the shampoo/soap/conditioner dispenser which was totally empty...
Perfect place for a family...loved it...a little pricy but we all had a quality with the family ...
We've been twice this summer - It's such a good time for the whole family. Lot's to do for everyone.
Would have like to have stayed longer but it is just so expensive.
Great for kids
The water park was great, the room was clean, had a great view of the outdoor pool from the balcony. Staff was super friendly and it was overall awesome. I'd come back again.
I just wish they would have more activities for adults. It felt like it was all for kids. I would only recommend it for families with children and not for a young couple
Since your kids will love it, you'll put up with s
The kids will love it here. Between the water park, the talking animals in the lobby, easy-for-kids food and the overall experience, the kids become fully absorbed in this little world. Food quality at the restaurants, especially the buffet dinner is fantastic.
Limiting coffee and tea in the morning to only one cup is cheap. They should include refills. I was happy to find out that they serve Canadian coffee roasters Kicking Horse Coffee. But only at a coffee shop. This makes it complicated for customers. Just serve the same stuff everywhere, and include refills at breakfast.
Great place for kids
It is an ideal place for a local vacation if you have younger kids.
The mattress was not comfortable
Exceeds expectations!
I didn't expect a Waterpark to keep my kids occupied long but there was so much to do. While the resort is expensive, the money we saved by avoiding alternative entertainment more than offset the room cost.
The resort is a bit far from the main strip in Niagara Falls. If you do plan on going to the strip, you'll have to drive (and pay for parking)
They could really use another sit down type restaurant. The buffet is nice however the wait is ridiculous!
excellent for families
not so great for adults
The staff, the waterpark, the mini-put, the story time and the buffet
- the quality of the beds - probably jumped on one two many thousand times - low flow toilet difficult to evacuate - noisy even after 10pm but much better by 11pm.
The water park is the best one around. Rooms are fun for the kids...
Have to pay extra for water park if you have more than 4 in your party...
Very friendly staff, easy check in and check out, clean and spacious rooms, kid-friendly, casual, fun atmosphere.
Arcade, restaurants and coffee shop were very pricey. No family change rooms, not enough baby changing facilities.
the indoor waterpark and many other activities for my three year old
front desk staff was not the friendliest -- not mean just not overly friendly
Everything was wonderful! The staff were friendly and helpful, the resort was very clean and the water park, storytime shows and cub club were lots of fun.
The pillows and mattresses were not at all comfortable and should be replaced.
The variety of activities in the water park
To reduce the noise of the air conditioner in the room
The kids loved the water park! Even my 14 year old who thought he might be too old for this, said this was the favourite part of his trip to Niagara Falls. Staff were very helpful when it came to choosing a local restaurant in Niagara Falls. Once they found out what I prefered they provided me with various menus from the restaurants and organized the transportation (paid by the restaurant).
Unfortunately the washroom in the room smelled of urine and it looked like there was mould in the corners of the tub. I did not like the sink, for the bathroom, outside of the bathhroom.
waterpark, convenience of microwave and fridege in our room.
outside pool, walks,
price of food had 4 kids - who didnt eat the price they were charged
