Never saw a single mosquito, ant, fly or any other insect on this hotel site during our one week stay. Very good location, excellent staff. The whole property kept very clean and tidy.
Had the misfortune to check in at the same time as a large group. Was directed to the wrong line, lined up for 50 minutes and was then redirected to Reception. Room not ready, come back in 1 hour. Finally got checked in and was upgraded to a better room but not with the ocean view that we had booked. Breakfast buffet was average. Food a little expensive.
The hotel is in the best location in Noumea. The resort is well equipped, with an excellent pool, restaurants, and great views of the lagoon. The shops and cafes in nearby Anse Vata and Lemon Bay are excellent, and within easy walking distances. The buffet breakfast was substantial and varied, providing something for everyone. Our room was excellent, with a great balcony and views.
Nothing, it was excellent
Beautiful seaside view from our room with very nice and cosy private balcony. Very well equiped fitness room
We didn't have the opportunity to try the restaurant L'hyppocampe as it was closed from saturday to monday ( all the week-end) Spa treatment all booked for the week : a shame/ last minute booking should be allocated to the hotel residents
Rooms & bathrooms were large in size and our ocean view was spectacular! Hotel staff were very friendly but some are not that fluent in English (French is their main language. Seafood buffet was super fresh and desserts were divine -- however, still not worth the expensive price per head! Unlimited access to water sports (non-motorised) and very close kayak trip to Duck Island. Convenient walk to main city area for other food options. Breads and French pastries in the restaurants were sooo good!
Housekeeping kept forgetting to replenish toiletries and gave us only 2 complimentary water bottles instead of 3. Pool water temp was freezing for our July stay!!! Hardly no change to breakfast buffet options. If you stay for more than 2 days, you get sick of eating the same food. Steam room & jacuzzi were inside the spa where you need to pay ~AUD40 to use for half the day. Food and drinks are generally expensive in the area and no kids-eat-free deal.
Location great, next to the beach with the palm trees and benches.
The restarants are way too pricey! You need a more down market restaurant to complement the ones you have. You would ahve less peope going off to eat around the lagooon. (like we did)
