Pros:Laid back resort style vibe, something like Palm Springs in the ‘50s must have been. Great care has been taken to keep an older property up to date. Comfortable rooms and the restaurant is outstanding.
Cons:Tiny bathrooms. Next to Highway 101 so ask for a room at the back. Included breakfast has no hot items, just high carb stuff like cereal and pastries.
Pros:Walking path. Backed car to rear door made easiest unloading and loading ever.
Cons:Normally, you would say a stones throw from the freeway, but so close, I think you can throw the stone over the freeway. Heavy drapes muted sound somewhat. Bathroom tiny. Price was way too much for what it is. Should be half.
Pros:Beautiful spot, overall atmosphere was really pretty. Within an hour from San Francisco and close to the 101.
Cons:There were quite a few bugs in the room when we came in. A spider and then a few mosquitoes, kind of a turn off.
Pros:Room was clean, complete, well-organized and spacious. Colors were cheerful, but not obtrusive. Service was good. Clean bedding was delivered instantly at 8 o'clock in the evening when an open bottle of water tipped over on the bed. No problem. Restful space. Breakfast was simple, but adequate and fresh especially for self serve buffet. Hard boiled eggs were tender and done perfectly, a rare achievement. Open space with mature plants and trees out the big window. Quite nice.

Cons:The experience would have been better if I slept in my car. Not only did I not get an opportunity to sleep after 3 calls to the front desk to shut down the college party next door, but the next morning the front desk person said he could do nothing and insinuated that the reason I did not sleep was my own fault. The room was equal to a motel 6 as was the service. Seriously, if you think about staying here, stay in your car and save a couple hundred bucks! Worst hotel/motel/camping experience ever!!
Pros:The room was as was expected and a great value for the cost. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Our room faced the garden. I liked that we had 2 entry ways, one lead to the parking area and one lead to the garden. We loved the swings from the center tree. My son had a fantastic time swinging and meeting other children. It was a bit cool to test out the pool but we are looking forward to another visit to try it out. Some people have said that it could use an update but I honestly appreciated the character. The swanky restaurant was fantastic and had live jazz music. The location was excellent and met our travel needs while playing in the area.
Cons:The breakfast was simple but enough to start your day.
Pros:The grounds are nice. Lots of trees, flowering plants, some hammocks and a fountain behind the restaurant/pool. It's close to the interstate, which can be convenient but some rooms might experience more traffic noise than I did (it wasn't bad for me at all). I liked the look of the room and didn't have a problem with noise though I've read that some people have. Depends on your neighbor, I suppose. The bathroom is small but I didn't mind. There's no bathtub, if you're interested in that. Robes were provided in the back entrance closet area. I didn't use the internet but the TV worked fine. Ate at the restaurant one night and they let me take my dessert back to the room on a covered plate with silverware and a cloth napkin, then said I could just leave it in the room rather than take it back to the restaurant later. My meal was tasty and the restaurant's environment is relaxed and attractive with a pleasant staff. I was there in the off-season so it wasn't flooded with people -- that might make a difference, according to some of the other reviews, but I can't say personally. I enjoyed the stay and would probably stay there again if I were in the area.
