Pros: La Betulia is like your second home! It’s an amazing place, staff is very friendly and it has a great location. After spending a week at this magical place, I’m dying to go back and indulge myself with all their traditions. If you want to visit Oaxaca, this is the place to stay! Thank you Danny, Juanita, Lorena, Patty and Rosita for making my stay so pleasant!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The breakfast and the location was excellent. We really enjoyed spending the early mornings in the cozy courtyard of the hotel. The service was perfect. We also loved engaging with the staff and found our interactions to be extremely helpful - which improved the quality of our stay significantly.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The B&B was in short walking distance to the center, it was quiet and very clean. Breakfast (bread, yam, Yoghurt, fruits, fresh juice and different mexican dish every day) was good and the staff very friendly and helpful. The private locked parking was also a pro.
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff are so welcoming and helpful. The location is great and quiet. The bed is comfortable and has lovely bedding. The shower was the best I had in Mexico. Great breakfast served in the lovely courtyard. We loved our stay at La Betulia.
Cons: Nothing!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: You can’t go wrong staying at Betulia B&B. The rooms are clean and comfortable - as nice as a higher end hotel - and the staff are so lovely and helpful. We got so many great tips from Daniel and he was always available either on-site or via test to help with any questions or anything we needed. The staff in the kitchen cooked up the best breakfast every morning with a different authentic Mexican dish each day. I recommend staying at Betulia when in Oaxaca and would definitely stay again next time I am passing through.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing breakfasts on the terrace each morning. Very friendly staff and nice spotless rooms. A short walk to the Santo Domingo church
Cons: Could be slightly noisy from surrounding area at night, but would be quiet from 10pm. Not a significant issue
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is the place to stay if you're looking for a perfect location as well as a comfortable, personalized and clean bed and breakfast. It is located in a quiet street, walking distance from a lot of shopping and sights. Daniel and the rest of the staff are accommodating, friendly and professional. Daniel is truly dedicated to helping you have the best stay possible, with personal recommendations and suggestions. We were so impressed with breakfast, which is fresh and delicious (fresh fruit, fresh breads, fresh squeezed orange juice and made to order with traditional Oaxocan entree, which is different every day). Highly recommend! Beautiful grounds and simple, beautifully kept rooms. The large suite is more like an apartment, with space to hang out and cook if you needed, would probably be great for a family. The free parking was also an added bonus.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff was amazing! Dulce and Manuel were the bests hosts we've ever had. They shared information about their beautiful city and gave us wonderful recommendations about where to visit and places to eat. They went out of their way to book tours, make dinner reservations, and arrange taxis for us. The location of Casa Carlotta is great! So close to all of the "must-sees" in the city. Everything was walking distance. Everything at Casa Carlotta was so organizaed (breakfast/check-in/check-out). You will not regret staying here!
Cons: Casa Carlotta exceeded my expectations. There is nothing that I did not like about it.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The house is beautiful, the location is excellent, the staff are THE BEST and so helpful! The breakfast is delicious, the terrace is wonderful. There is always somebody on site. and the price of the stay was great. The staff also helped us book a taxi to the airport, and a private tour of Mitla. The room was cleaned every day which was great, and the A/C was adequate.
Cons: I haven't taken points off for the incessant construction during out stay that was SO LOUD next to our room because it is not the Casa's fault. The construction is supposed to end in July of 2021 so please verify with the staff before booking because it was horrible. I have taken one point off because, even without the construction the walls are very thin and you can hear everything going on in the neighborhood. I have also taken another point off because of the lack of natural light --while our room was the only one with a window, all other rooms look out into the hallway so you have to keep the curtains drawn for privacy but then you are left without a light source. Just something to keep in mind.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: This is a lovely place. Comfortable and small, and well appointed. I highly recommend it. Oh, and the staff couldn’t be any nicer
Cons: People, the rooms, the loveliness of the place
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location, room, breakfast and Staff Dulce, Ángel y Eder súper cordial They were awesome! Food was fresh and delicious!
Cons: Safe deposit box needs to be bolted down for security
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location, comfortable, super host
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Communication with the property staff made my trip extremely enjoyable. Dulce was an excellent source of information when informing me about airport shuttle accommodations, potential tours, and an early check-in. The rooms were very clean, shower was excellent, and breakfast was delicious. The terrace gave my evenings a more enjoyable view while enjoying a quick meal and drink with my spouse. They are a small team of 3, but they all do an amazing job to keep you satisfy with your stay. I am happy to have found this place!
Cons: During my stay, the next door house was conducting construction which created a good amount of noise. It was annoying, but that is not the hotels fault (this won't stop me from giving them an excellent review). We were warned beforehand and coordinated. Overall, the street is super quiet and sleep was not an issue.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It is a small, cozy hotel located really close to all the sightseeing spots of Oaxaca’s city center. We loved the warm attention and how impeccably clean the facilities were. The beds weren’t very big but they were very comfortable. Overall, we had a great stay and will totally recommend it.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loved the location, it is walking distance from many restaurants, el Zocalo, Santo Domingo Church, and the andador turistico.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Manuel the receptionist was very helpful with everything and super friendly! The hotel is located at a 5 min walk from Santo Domingo, great location! Excellent relation price-quality... The hotel is super clean! Thanks for everything!
Cons: No parking for those arriving by car.. But I left my car outside the hotel without any problem. The street is only for local traffic

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The property’s location, being so close to the Zocalo. Everything that we wanted to see was within walking distance, restaurants, shopping, churches, etc. The staff is very accommodating and helpful and made our experience that much better. The rooms are spacious and clean, also the rooms have A/C but we didn’t use it much because of the ceiling fan. Great view from the balcony as well.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: My Gf and I loved this Hotel. We paid for the corner room with 2 balconies and it was great. The hotel is centrally located, one block from the central square. This isn't a modern Hyatt hotel. Its a traditional Oaxaca style hotel. The employees were very nice and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Location was great! breakfast was delicious. Room was clean. Rooms had fans and AC's. 10/10
Cons: No complaints. Would book again.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Hotel was very beautiful. Staff was super friendly and got us checked in very quickly and answered any questions we had. Also helped us arrange transport back to the airport.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I love the location, the charm of the property, the staff are awesome especially Elizabeth, the breakfast in the morning each day was delicious and the property is very clean.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It was good
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The romantic package with the mariachi band. Breakfast served in our room, at the time of our choosing.
Cons: Nothing really
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location to downtown and shopping was great. The staff was excellent in every aspect. We felt well taken care of and everything was very comfortable. Will definitely stay again when we return to Oaxaca.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Judging by the photos on Booking the hotel was not what we expected. It was way better. We were pleasantly surprised by the area, the hotel and the best thing was our room. We stayed at the corner room and although it was busy, the room was very quiet. The cleaning lady came twice a day. Everyone was very helpful and kind. Definitely one of the reasons why we loved Oaxaca.
Cons: Absolutely nothing

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very comfortable and spacious room with lots of natural light
Cons: The breakfast did not offer enough—just bread and coffee. Also, if they give you a room with a kitchen but you didn’t book a “studio,” there was an almost unnoticeable sign inside the room that said if you didn’t book it as a studio, you’ll be charged a fee per day for using the kitchen. I thought that should’ve been communicated to me when I checked in because I almost didn’t see that sign
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Really helpful staff, nice clean rooms, very green patio and breakfast area. The hotel is within the city center and everything is at walking distance. We loved our stay here and will come back when we visit Oaxaca again 😄
Cons: -
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was amazing at Las Mariposas. The staff, the room, the garden, the eco arrangements all exceeded our expectations. We loved our stay there and will definitely come back ❤️
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The owner and staff gave us a warm welcome always willing to help in anything we needed and provided us good suggestions.
Excellent 8.0
Cons: This whole experience was made more difficult by your (Booking, Inc.) constant messages in Vietnamese. I do not nor have I ever spoken Vietnamese!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Comfortable and quiet room at the heart of Oaxaca
Cons: A bit to much light in the room for my liking
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Big room. You feel cosy.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very quiet , excellent front desk staffs as well as cleaning staff.close enough to the center being 5 to 10 mns feet but far enough to be quiet and away from noise safe . Good quality good price I recommend . A coffee machine in the room would be a dream but there is a great coffee place one block away
Cons: A coffee machine in room or coffee available in office ?
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Xtilu hotel is conveniently located, with an easy 6-15 minute walk to nearly any destination in Centro. We definitely enjoyed the easy walks in the neighborhood - and the quiet of the hotel when we got back in. The hotel itself is lovely. There is a library with good WiFi for working and reading. Since I work online, this was an incredible space to use to get away from my room (and not bother my friend). The staff are friendly, bilingual and helpful. They booked a tour to see the ruins and weavers for us that was amazing. We just decided one night and they managed to get an informative, fun, bilingual tour guide for the next morning. They are very responsive to WhatsApp.
Cons: The restaurant next door is not part of the hotel - so be mindful that the hotel staff have no control over that. There are plenty of other better options just a few blocks in nearly any direction. Also, there was another person who was using the library at the same time as me who did not use headphones. She was annoying and loud. This has nothing to do with the hotel staff - but if you do need to work, I recommend headphones for use in the public areas.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The location was ideal, just 5 blocks from the Zocalo entrance. The court yards were beautiful and well maintained. The maid service was accommodating to our schedule and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The art on the walls is representative of the city of Oaxaca. The desk workers were all very helpful with any questions we had and even coordinated with a local laundry service so we could have out Laundry done.
Cons: The shower head made the water spray too powerfully. The wifi would sometimes drop, but not too often that I couldn't stream something as long as I was willing to wait a couple of minutes for the modem to restart. The bed was a little too hard for me.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice and tidy hotel in the city center, a safe and pleasant 5m walk will take you to the Zócalo. The common areas of the hotel are decorated with local artwork, a sample of the art and culture that impregnates Oaxaca. The rooms and beds are ample and comfortable and they have all the basics covered. Nothing to miss. Staff are polite and helpful and questions and requests have been promptly and professionally fulfilled! If you are wondering about the price difference with other hotels in the area, or are on a budget, please consider breakfast is included. An extraordinary breakfast! We loved turbo-charging and starting the day picking from the breakfast menu. Delicious and with a local taste. We have stayed here twice, and would stay a third.
Good 6.0
Pros: Breakfast was great.
Cons: The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are small. The beds are tiny. I could barely move in the bathroom.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The breakfast was great, several options. Comfortable room with plenty of TV channels with decent Wi-Fi. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Easy to book a tour with them. Would stay again.
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Okay 5.8
Pros: The only positive review I would have about this place is the breakfast was very yummy. And the staff was somewhat attentive. I have stayed at this hotel for 2 days and I was pretty much working remotely. Having to spend the majority of my stay working, I have noticed that I haven't seen any other guests stay besides myself. It was an odd experience, after reading other guests reviews before booking. The bed was very uncomfortable, very thin mattress. Maybe because I chose the cheapest room? If your looking for an ok hotel to crash the night and eat a good breakfast/brunch then this is the place for you. But if you want to enjoy and have a comfortable experience I would choose elsewhere.
Okay 5.4
Pros: Very good breakfast, good size room, good shower. Easy to get to city centre.
Cons: Found a cockroach in my room, which wasn’t great. Aircon also didn’t work properly, despite the receptionist insisting it did. Some loud crashing around first thing, so don’t plan on a lie-in either.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Seriously a very nice hotel in a quiet location just next to the centre. The staff were very kind and the breakfast was amazing! Highly recommended especially if you are traveling as a couple.
Cons: The hot water took a bit of time to warm up
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Awesome breakfast, great service.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent hotel for the money, will always stay there when I go to Oaxaca, very close to everything. Staff is fantastic.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The food was excellent. Presentation and service were exceptional. I would recommend to all with confidence
Cons: I can not think of one thing to complain about
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel is beautiful! The garden is lovely, the rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is huge and there is coffee and fruit available all day! The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The rooms don’t have much surface space, a desk or table would be a nice addition 😃
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Good breakfast Great location Great staff
Cons: Beds were a little hard.
Good 6.0
Pros: Great location next door to Benito Juarez market and 2 blocks from the Zocalo and easy walking distance to dozens of great restaurants, bars, galleries, and shopping. Charming hotel with helpful front desk staff.
Cons: I didn't like the location of my room 105. Sound carries easily in the facility and all voices and suitcase rolling sounds seemed to congregate right out in front of my room. Also. the cleaning people need to be better trained. One day, after they finished cleaning at 6:30p, they hung out one door down from my room talking and watching TV on their phone. The sound was very annoying. Another day, they finished cleaning my room, leaving the bathroom floor wet. I arrived back in my room a few minuets later, took one step into bathroom and slipped and fell on the wet tile floor. Just got an x-ray earlier today and I have a broken toe and another toe is severely sprained. The manager brought me an ice pack and aspirin, but it would have been nice if there had been follow-up the next day about how I was feeling.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location is great and the staff is very very friendly and very helpful. They answered questions as far as where to go. I speak Spanish though so I didn’t try to speak to them in English. Breakfast was just ok, it’s convenient to be able to eat there. The servers were all very kind and attentive though.
Cons: Our room was in a bad location on the ground floor just in front of the cleaning closet and so starting at 6AM or 7AM, it got very difficult to sleep because the sound of the mop buckets hitting the tile was a very loud. They definitely weren’t doing it on purpose, it’s jut that the sound echos when you have tile.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A quiet and cool king room, actually two rooms, plus a big bathroom and great shower; we never heard the street noise, never used the AC. The location was prime, the staff exceeded our expectations, breakfasts were very good, and they were pet friendly.
Cons: Mediocre coffee, and the cremora or skim milk to go with it.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast was very good and my room was amazing and confortable
Mediocre 3.7
Pros: The location was good...... Close to Centro. Coffee, yogurt, granola and papaya were nice for breakfast.
Cons: We had NO hot water. This hotel claims to be pet-friendly on this website but we were surprised on check-in with Terri's flippant comment that dogs weren't allowed. I showed her the reservation sites which state that they allowed pets. She said the info was a mistake! I offered to leave for a refund but she permitted us to stay....As it was raining...We were grateful but cannot recommend this hotel since we couldn't even shower, the water was ice cold. I've since read that this is typical.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The private room was great clean and well decorated. The Internet signal was decent. The common areas were nice to mingle with others. A desk staff was super helpful and accommodating!
Cons: It’s a little bit on the outside of the city center but close enough that you can walk.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hostel is very cute and charming. We had the double room with our daughter and we loved it. The breakfast is also very tasty. Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful. But a special thanks goes out to Sergio from reception who not just made our stay there very pleasant and was our savior for our ongoing trip!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Prefect oasis that is tastefully done to reflect the art , colors and simplicity of Oaxaca
Good 6.0
Pros: Good location and very friendly staff.
Cons: The room is quite small but then again its also rather cheap.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: nice staff
Cons: you can hear all the conversations as if people were inside the room, the shower in the other rooms is super noisy and breakfast was just a bread
Poor 1.0
Cons: The 10 bed bunk beds are super short, everyone keeps hitting their head. The female dorm has no fan and is right next to the noisy bathroom. All dorms the keys are in the door so anyone could go in and out. The breakfast is always a tiny portion, you will never be full. So it's really bad value considering you could get private rooms on another app for cheaper. Also, when I booked it said occupancy rate would be 75%, but they changed it to 100% without notifying me. That was the reason I booked it, so basically I didn't get what I booked. The place is full of mosquitoes because of the garden.

Pros: The room was very comfortable and was cleaned every day, they provided two bottle of waters every time and fresh towels. The restaurant at the hotel had great menu and not expensive, service at the restaurant was very good. Loved the decoration
Cons: They didnt provide enough toilet paper, had a small argument with the reception because the receipt didnt come out and wanted to charge me twice without verifying that the transaction had passed or not, finally they checked and was already approved and didnt need to charge it again. Downtown is kind of walking distance but doesnt feel secure after dark.
Good 6.0
Pros: The room is ok
Cons: The payment process, I payed in the site with Virtual credit card and the Hotel staff request me a copy of my credit card 🤷🏽‍♂️
Good 6.0
Pros: The property was beautiful and convenient. It was close to stores, ATM and pharmacy
Cons: The rooms were not very clean and there’s was no outlets near the beds and some water came in the bedroom during a storm. The staff wasn’t very helpful
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The beds were comfortable, clean. The closet space was ample. The grounds are lovely and well kept, and the kids loved the pool which was clean and refreshing. It was very easy to get transportation right outside of the hotel, which was nice since it on the edge of the city center.
Cons: Staff was not friendly and welcoming, and did not seem to try and anticipate needs of guests. Waitstaff just stood by our table and looked at us instead of talking about the menu, asking what we'd like, etc. Also the front desk staff seemed always busy and like you were interrupting them to ask a question or for service. In the bathroom the sink faucet leaked all lver the counter so everything there was always wet.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice hotel with a pool area in the walking distance to the city center.
Cons: We had rooms at the main road - noice.
Good 7.0
Pros: Very clean, comfortable and quiet.
Cons: Too far from city center. But that’s our fault for not thinking it through.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Large clean swimming pool, the restaurant was open from 8 am to 3 pm. Very comfortable bed, room was kept clean, convenient store across the street so I could get coffee before 8 am. Friendly staff. I felt safe.
Cons: When I first arrived both my cell phone and tablet would not connect to the Internet. I mentioned it to a younger man at the restaurant and the problem was fixed. No internet problems for five days

Excellent 8.0
Pros: The staff members were incredibly helpful and friendly - truly, beyond expectations in every way. I had arranged tours independently beforehand, but tours could be arranged if desired. Staff arranged taxis with helpful drivers. A taxi arrived within a few minutes after a call. This small hotel was very clean. My room was cleaned every day. There was a TV in the room. Breakfast was toast, roll, juice and coffee. One staff member had an excellent knowledge of English and was able to help me improve my Spanish.
Cons: There were 3 days when there wasn't hot water in the shower.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Comfy rooms, great staff - very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast and amenities are basic but fine for the price. Location is fairly central.
Cons: Towels not changed but folded and replaced so we accidentally used dirty towels of each others’.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice hotel for the price. next to Sams Club and malls
Cons: One water in the room fir two people and no clock.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean and close to airport
Excellent 9.0
Pros: This hotel is a short distance to the airport and next to Sam’s Club. Nice, big clean rooms.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Wifi signal kinda weak
Excellent 8.0
Pros: I knew this is not a luxury hotel, but I just wanted a nice hotel for the family to stop overnight from our long drive from South Mexico. So the value for the money paid was excellent. It is great that the hotel leaves some water as courtesy.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Staff was very helpful in every possible way.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The hotel was actually nicer than I had thought it would be based on other's ratings. We reserved a King Bed and were given a small suite with a nice work area/desk to set up my computer. The bed was more comfortable that most hotels we've stayed in in the same price range, and we had parking available near the front entrance. They had their restaurant open, pool open, Covid policies in place and implemented correctly. The maid service was efficient and conveniently done in the afternoons.
Cons: Honestly the only things I can say that were less than desirable is that the entrance was a little tricky to find and drive into off the main road, and it we did hear a few planes pass over head so it must be on the airports flight path. Even then, their were few flights, and nothing during normal sleeping hours.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Hostel was located basicly in the city center. The staff was super nice, and the hostel itself had a rooftop and was one of the best that i have ever been in mexico
Cons: Upper bed in my bedroom was really shaky, so i didnt really sleep well (next night i was on the lower bed and it was 10x better)
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The woman who cooked our breakfast was great! Very friendly and helped with whatever we wanted. We were so busy seeing all the sites we never used the terrace, but it looked like great fun.
Cons: The upper bunk bed was hard to get up to. A shelf or dresser for clothes would have been helpful.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast was very good lots of fruits and Edith the cook was very kind and in good mood ready to serve. I enjoyed the view from the terrace where you can see the whole city. Also I like the atmosphere , not noisy. Near everything.
Cons: The showers had no hot water some days or very hot other days difficult to get the perfect temperature you had to shot the hot water because only hot water will come out. Also the dormitory beds were uncomfortable.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The colors, the architecture and the rooftop
Excellent 8.0
Pros: staff was great, the hostel was clean
Cons: The breakfast lacks decent options for vegans, which is something that could be improved easily :)
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice place overall. Lots of outdoor seating areas. They let you borrow bikes to bike around the city for free. The staff were really nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. The room was clean and even had a lockable locker for your stuff.
Cons: The shower was filthy. It really needed a good cleaning. The light switch needs repair and was flickering as I turned it on. The room did not have AC but did have a working fan, which is to be expected at this price point.

Good 7.0
Pros: Location, staff very kind, the hotel is clean
Cons: It's noisy at night, there is a club beside the hotel and the music trembling into the rooms
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic hotel, located in the center of Oaxaca. Close to many bars and restaurants. The room is very big and clean, the bed is very comfortable, Wifi connection is very good, and the room has a very nice and clean bathroom. The staff is very communicative and really nice. They answered any question I had and were very helpful. I loved this place !!! will come back for sure when I am back to Oaxaca.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location was amazing, a few steps from everything, the mercados, the zócalo. The beds were really comfy and amenities were great.
Cons: The shower could use at least a shower curtain, everytime I would take a shower it will be a complete mess, lots of water outside the shower area, and it made it super unpleasant to use it after a shower
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The staff, they were very welcoming and very helpful, always keeping things clean and sanitised. Super safe and very close to the Mercados and Zocalo
Cons: Just needs a little bit of an upgrade in the room's bathroom, however the staff is amazing!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: This place is only a 3 to 5 minute walk to city center. The location is great if your wanting to take a walk or if you are more into street shopping, vendors are close by. Both girls in the front desk are really friendly.
Cons: My pillow sham was dirty. They could do better when it comes to the sheets and pillow sham. When you take a shower, water splatters everywhere. They should really invest into sliding glass door.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Service was great.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location and friendly staff, Really enjoyed to stay
Cons: The room is next to the laundry. It was little bit noisy
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very nice staff and accommodating
Cons: All good
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Great service.
Cons: The beds.
Okay 5.7
Pros: Convenient location, clean and good value
Cons: Very noisy neighborhood with bar and disco location next door.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very friendly staff, a great location and a tranquil terrace.
Cons: If you have a room directly facing the street, you'll need to be prepared for quite a lot of traffic noise during the night. Whilst the WiFi works perfectly well in the public areas, we had real difficulty accessing this in our room.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The room is very clean and the location is excellent, very near to the Zocalo and the main attractions of the city. The place is quiet and you can relax.
Cons: The internet connection failed many times when I was there. Other thing that could be better is that the hotel doesn't have a garage neither any other park place, and how the hotel is in the center of the city, is very difficult to find a place to park on the street.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very friendly staff and very clean rooms.
Good 7.1
Pros: Location, value for money, cleanliness
Cons: Cold showers, wifi did not work
Good 7.9
Pros: Linen bed bathroom/clean overall Staff friendly and helpful Near center and marked. If you are not too picky go for it!
Good 7.0
Pros: I liked the location.
Cons: The housekeeping staff was excellent, but the reception desk staff appeared to be new and not-yet-well-trained.

Good 6.0
Pros: Friendly staff, well located.
Cons: Rooms have barely any ventilation, a bad mattress, TV didn't work, and room cleaning didn't happen daily.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice place, clean, the scenery was beautiful, landscape paintings and staff was great, very secure ! 24 hr guard..
Cons: Everything was great
Okay 5.0
Pros: Great location.
Cons: The original room I got was way too tiny (#3) and not worth 17 euro a night, after that I was moved to a room (#8) upstairs that didn't get any WiFi signal and later on had to demand to move to a room of good quality (#10). Easy to say the check-in experience could have been smother. All I can say, it's an average 2 star hotel at best, but the staff kinda tried to work it out. Kinda.
Good 7.0
Pros: Prime location near the main square, the banks, restaurants & other services. Clean room, comfortable bed, good Internet connection, surprisingly quiet at night. A 3-block walk from the Eclipse minibus terminal, which is very convenient if you are going to (or coming back from) the Pacific Coast. This hotel offers some of the colonial cachet you'd expect in the historic center of Oaxaca at a bargain price. The front iron door is locked at all times, which provides extra security, but may complicate short errands to the juice bar or cafe next door, as you need to ring every time.
Cons: My room #2 got very stuffy in the day time, despite the high ceilings, and would only come back to a cooler temperature in the wee hours of the morning. After a heavy rain, some water seeped through the floor and accumulated near the bathroom entrance at 3 AM (no foul smell, fortunately).
Excellent 8.0
Pros: friendly staff, hotel in great location
Cons: price OK but not cheap (but few places in Oaxaca are), can get a little noisy from the street, patio, or bar nearby - partially because above the door there is a panel that is only a moscito net, not a proper window
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Rooms are basic and clean. Location is perfect! It is walking distance to the zocalo, Mercado 20 de noviembre, Santo Domingo, Organic harvest market, and many street food stalls, restaurants and shops. We saved money by staying here and not having to pay for taxis.
Cons: The rooms are a little dark. The hotel is in between a karaoke bar and cantina bar so it can get loud at night if you are a light sleeper.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: God price and location
Cons: Noisy neighbors

Okay 5.0
Pros: Good location, big bed, friendly staff
Cons: Very noisy from the street, also very hard pillows! Not a good night of sleep!
Good 7.0
Cons: The location
Okay 5.0
Pros: secure parking space.
Cons: only one electric outlet worked, no exterior windows, dark lighting
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Basically - everything was ok. Nothing more, nothing less. Clean rooms, working (most of the time :)) WiFi. Very helpful staff. A few minutes walk from the Zocalo. Good option for the price paid.
Good 7.9
Pros: it's well located very clean and neat comfortable very good employees pretty attentive and pleaseful.
Cons: The announcement said wifi included and it was true however it didnt have much strenght I couldn't use it, if you go just to stay the night it's a good option it's well located very clean and neat but kinda expensive for my taste.
Poor 1.0
Pros: Nice rooms
Cons: We had a.problem with the reservation and the person in charge asked us to leave the hotel in a rude way. Then they wanted to charge us one night more and send us to a cheaper hotel but charging double the price of it. We had to go back to them and clear everything up to get our money back which they gave us without apologising. It was an uncomfortable situation. Besides ,the street in which its located is full of prostitutes.
Good 6.3
Pros: Some clean
Cons: Bath towel
Good 6.7
Pros: The hospitality
Cons: That I pay more than the price a does the reservation
Good 7.5
Pros: Nice size room. Comfy. Room came with balcony.
Cons: Location. Lots of prostitutes across the street.
Good 7.1
Pros: Larger room than expected
Cons: Didn't like the 50 hookers we had to walk by on the block every time we left the hotel. And the street was under repare, had a very hard time trying to get in the parking lot. But neither of these is the hotel's fault.
Okay 4.0
Pros: the street is lined shoulder to shoulder with prostitutes
Cons: the prostitutes look very sad this hotel does NOT take credit cards the staff is completely useless
