Gastehaus Falkner Dorli

We stayed in September 2019. Dorli and her husband were extremely kind and helpful, always prepared to answer any questions and on hand to help with any queries, nothing is too much trouble. Dorli really cares that guests enjoy their stay, so if you have any issues, you only need to ask or tell her. We certainly look forward to returning in March.

Absolutely nothing.

Easily accessible, excellent location, quiet, with natural "air conditioning" from the nearby river. The proprietors are very nice, friendly, and attentive. You can rely on them for up-to-date information about the weather conditions, and get plenty of advice on how to spend time in, and around, Oetz.

Great location, excellent breakfast, short distance to Hoch Oetz ski station. House is done in a nice rustic style and is located right next to the river. Most importantly it is the host, Dorli, whose warm personality and hospitality ensures one feels like at home. In this respect, Dorli goes above and beyond. I will definitely be coming back to Oetztal and hoping to stay at Falkner guesthouse again.

The guesthouse is very cozy with many nice details and stylish decoration, and Ms. Falkner is a great host! The breakfast was superb with something new every day. It's conveniently located in the city center just few minutes by foot to the restaurants, supermarket and gondola to ski area. There is no advanced ski room, but you can keep your skies in a storeroom together with antique agricultural tools, which was exotic and fun! Also there is no spa or sauna, but you can visit fantastic Aqua Dome spa center, which is just in 20 minutes drive. So it was a great stay with lots of comfort, quietness and privacy.

There is nothing what we really didn't like. But to be picky, I would change sink tap in bathroom to something a bit more modern. Also bed pillows were too soft for us.
