Excellent 8.0
Pros: Excellent and rich morning buffet. Top terrace with nice view on Pakse, Mékong and mountains around. Great staff, they did the best for us; they are really professional.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It was good!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Rooftop bar and restaurant is excellent
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great rooftop bar, excellent breakfasts
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The breakfast id the best we have had during our holiday in Laos. It is truly great, so much to choose from, you want to spend 2 hours trying everything! We cannot recommend it highly enough. Our room was small and basic but clean. Considering what we paid for it, we think overall it was absolutely great.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: A very nice hotel by Laos standards. Room rate included an excellent breakfast buffet with eggs cooked to order, good coffee, and a wide array of other breakfast foods. The rooftop restaurant and bar has good happy hour deals from 5-6pm and great sunset views.
Cons: The room rates are a little high for Pakse, but you get what you pay for. The hotel is very nice. Our room did not have a window to the outside, just a fake window into the hallway.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Everything well maintained. Super clean. Quality sheets. Lovely decor. Sensational breakfast
Cons: Would like safety deposit box and kettle in room. Mind you, we had a cheap eco room so didnt expect it. We were impressed with eco room
Good 7.0
Pros: The breakfast was good. I got an economy room which has no window to the outside which I thought would bother me but it really didn't.
Cons: the room was small, the bed was hard, the TV was old fashioned (I didn't use it). It was fine though. Shower was a little mildewy.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I booked the room for my girlfriend and her cousin who live on a rice farm 100 kms north of Pakse. She travelled to Pakse to see the Orthodontist, and it was an arduous bus trip in the heat. Everything was perfect, they had a nice room, very clean with beautiful white sheets, breakfast was magnificent, and they were very happy with the whole experience

Excellent 10.0
Pros: For a little extra money I upgraded on arrival to the suit as I wanted my own private balcony. Staff were more than friendly and the breakfasts were amazing. Has a homely atmosphere like you are one of the family. Thank you for everything and I will definitely return.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Super view. Impressive foyer.
Cons: Evening meal was only average, and we very specifically asked for no chilli in one dish, which was not done. They did quickly replace it however.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Nice views over the river and lovely staff. Large pool.
Cons: A hotel clearly catering for a Chinese audience and in need of a refurb. Restaurant deserted which probably indicates the general quality of food. To be honest Pakse itself offers very little for the tourist and is best avoided or used as a base to visit the Bolevan Plateau.
Okay 5.8
Pros: Great rooms
Cons: Pool was really bad. The water was almost green. The pool area is very dirty and not taken care of. We booked this hotel for the pool, but didn’t even use it. Just to dirty. Pool beds are gross. Breakfast is really Chinese orientated Really really bad WiFi. My advice is to book an other hotel.
Good 7.3
Pros: Hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was spacious and there is a very nice view deck/restaurant overlooking the Mekong River.
Cons: The fitness facilities were limited and poorly maintained. The location is a bit too far from the center of town.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Breakfasts were exceptional. The staff were very helpful.
Cons: Restaurants were average and the in house second floor restaurant was empty for our entire meal. The whole hotel needed a refurb to bring it up to date and tidy up some required maintenance work especially around the pool. We found Pakse had little to offer the tourist and are unlikely to return.
Okay 5.0
Pros: The location was good.
Cons: The breakfast was very simple. Not as a 4 star hotel!

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Clean new hotel, friendly staff, swimming pool.
Cons: Restaurant with limited food choice. Located on main road.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent location. Good breakfast.
Cons: Beds with the swimming pool.
Good 7.9
Pros: Good location at the city center and nice, clean swmming pool in the backyard. Breakfast OK but not too fancy.
Cons: Overall the venue is quite good option (maybe even one of the best in Pakse) thoug a couple of things should be taken into consideration. The hotel is located at the main and very busy road so always try to request a calm room in the back of the building (luckily we got such room) otherwise you may expect a very noisy night. Another thing is cleaness, the floor is OK but the ceiling looks different, it’s better not to look up otherwise multiple spiderwebs and spiders may be spotted :-)
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The hotel is q quiet oasis close to the centre of Pakse. The swimming pool was excellent for a little gentle relaxation. I liked the fact that the hotel is small. My room was tastefully decorated and comfortable, with a pleasant balcony overlooking the pool. The ground floor rooms have patios next to the pool, but still seem quite private. I enjoyed my short stay!
Cons: Everything was fine. The breakfast was simple but pleasant. The hotel is on the main road but set back so that the traffic is hardly noticed. There was a small but adequate 'common area' sitting space.
Good 6.7
Pros: breakfast and room and pool good
Cons: Samsung shop across the road very noisy so we had booked this night but didn't stay. Very disappointed that we were charged for the night when we had actually stayed another 2 nights previously that we hadn't pre-booked.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Good breakfast and a pool!
Cons: Price vs quality was excellent.
Good 6.3
Pros: The breakfast was delicious
Cons: We had a lot of mosquitos in our room, no mosquito net, every night we had to go hunting

Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Restaurant closed. Difficult to get bar service
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The view
Cons: Nothing nearby in walking distance
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing view from the room and good restaurant.
Okay 4.2
Pros: Staff were pleasant.
Cons: Sad hotel that could be so wonderful but it is not maintained and rooms are dirty. The pool area is in the car park and lacks any attention. There were 3 sun loungers to share and 1 parasol. WiFi was really poor. The phone on the landing rang constantly from 7 am and no one answered it. Overall not a great experience and we were glad to leave.
Good 6.7
Pros: The room facing the river front and able to enjoy the sun rise.
Cons: The breakfast's menu - with same menu each morning and no variety of fruits.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: An old world atmosphere and lovely building. Quiet and cool inside on the hottest day. The choice of food for both dinner and breakfast was varied and the quality good. Would stay again.
Cons: The soap/shampoo in the bathroom. Terrible, please change to another brand.
Mediocre 3.8
Cons: We probably overpaid $100 for 3 nites. Walk outside and really dirty. The room was OK after disco shut down late. Breakfast was minimal but good bread, yogurt in a packaged cup, some fruit, coffee good, adequate but for outrageous price of the room compared to other hotels, very disappointing. Bed was lumpy, just all in all a really old, tired hotel that we did not realize in dirtiest part of town.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The overall ambiance, the rooftop bar and the friendliness of the staff.
Cons: The size and speed of the lift.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We enjoyed a wonderful stay here. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
Good 6.0
Pros: The breakfast.
Cons: A matelas like a stone. Noice from street trafic.
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: The hotel has some history (apparently), has vintage features, and has a sense of ‘Laos’.
Cons: Rooms are old, bathroom smells of sewage, the place is empty, the elevator is the slowest ever, and bed are small and uncomfortable.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: First of all the room was just perfect - clean and comfortable. The location was excellent,a short walk from Wat Luang and the Catholic Church. The restaurant on the 5th floor served great food at very keen prices - as did Cafe Sinouk on the ground floor....What I liked most of all were the staff.I want to pay tribute to Xou,Xouk,Khan,Johnny,Ms.Kham and Ms.Nok,the chef. Most of all I want to thank Mrs.Nang for her kindness and hospitality - this lady was always ready with help and travel advise and treated me to dinner on my last night....Residence Sisouk is just perfect and I'm happy to give it 10 out of 10.
Cons: I liked everything...

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Staffing is very friendly
Cons: None
Excellent 8.8
Pros: bed good, breakfast very good
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location
Cons: Eletctrical wires hanging in the bathroo
Excellent 8.0
Pros: I had a room with twin single beds. The beds were very unstable and the mattresses of a poor and cheap quality. When moving around on the bed, the entire bed moved. I complained to the receptionist to inform the general manager to change the two beds for better quality more stable beds.
Cons: The twin beds were very cheap quality and moved about even just touching them.
Mediocre 3.3
Cons: Half of their advertised facilities and features they either don’t have anymore or they don’t work. For an upper range Hotel that is simply not good enough. It is simply false advertisment. I would also skip their breakfast and go over the street to the nearest street food place which will serve you far superior breakfast. And having a nest of cochroaches in the bed under the blanket would have been nice to avoid.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It is a beautiful hotel which feels historically majestic. The bed was very comfortable.
Cons: It was quite empty of people and therefore lacked atmosphere.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Pretty cool to stay in an actual palace! The Reception staff were very helpful in sorting onward travel.

Good 7.0
Pros: not have b/fast. only one night
Good 7.9
Pros: It's in a nice quite area
Cons: Have no complaints
Good 7.1
Pros: The place is on a side street so it’s relatively quiet (unless the neighbors are having a party on the weekends). The cleaning staff does a good job keeping the simple rooms clean. Our air conditioner worked well and we had a mini fridge in our room. The price was quite affordable!
Cons: Within the first week of staying here, the electricity went out twice - once for an hour and once for several hours. In the extreme heat, this made it miserable to be in our rooms. The door to our balcony was warped, which let in smoke from the extensive burning that goes on around Pakse at this time of year. We also found quite a few mosquitoes when we first moved in.
Mediocre 3.0
Cons: The staff were about as welcoming as an Iron Maiden. Location left you an unpleasant walk along a busy major road to the "city centre", such as it is.
Mediocre 3.3
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The staff tried to steal my 100,000 kip for one, only discovered luckily by my friend who realised while i was busy frantickly ransacking my bag looking for it. Had she not been there i would have had 100,000 less and back on the street at 10pm looking for an ATM. I hadn't even processed what had happened in the moment and they then told me i need to pay more ? I showed them my booking and pictures of the price and what it is in kip, they showed me back on a calculator a much higher price. I physically did not have the amount they were asking for and was getting pretty frustrated because i knew what they were doing. My friend had gone by that point and it was 3 vs 1 so i then got taken to a room i most certainly did not pay for.. it certainly didnt have a bath as promised, was freezing, super loud, shower spitting out tiny bit of warm water, and ants running amock in the bed all night so ofcourse i woke up with many bites after my refreshing hellish 2.5hours or so 'sleep'. I have videos of the shower and ants in bed. No breakfast offered either. All for 10USD
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Place is comfortable, good wifi and hot water. Location is good if you have motorcycle.
Good 6.0
Pros: Private room with private bathroom. Free small water, toilet paper, towel & soap. It was quiet apart from the Kareoke on Friday evening.
Cons: This hotel is at least 1 km from the centre of town. There were few shops & restaurants nearby. Not very good value compared with other hotels in Laos. The bed was hard. Kareoke on Friday night. No breakfast at all.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: receptionlisy can speak french
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: We booked this 'hotel' as it was a cheap place to stay and was apparently 0.2 miles from the centre. We were only in Pakse as a stopover before going down to 4000 islands so we wanted to be central. The stated location of this hotel is completely inaccurate and it took 25 minutes to find the nearest restaurant. The staff didn't speak a word of English (yes fair enough we are in their country, but it made checking in way harder than it should have been!). We were shown to our room and it was extremely small and VERY hot and stuffy. The bed was rock solid to the point where I would have preferred to sleep on the floor. I didn't sleep well at all. I woke up to my belongings being absolutely covered in ants (no food in the bags!). I decided to leave a day early and the staff didn't even hesitate to give me a refund - I got the impression that they deal with people checking out early quite often! The place is cheap so I wasn't expecting anything special but it was dirty and I didn't feel comfortable staying there.
