Pros: Staff , cleanliness and location

Cons: The idea that I needed to keep the card in the slot to have electricity.. we could nit leave air conditioning on while out of the room to keep room cool instead we had to come back to a hit room and wait for air to kick in .. other than that all good . I understand the hotel may conserve electricity but it’s a major discomfort in the summer :(

Pros: Very comfortable, clean room. Nice restaurant and breakfast. Well located on the main square in the centre of town.

Cons: The price of the laundry service! My Spanish is not good, but I managed to ask at the reception if there was a laundry service. We worked out that yes, there is and that it would be collected from our room the following morning. I did not see a price list anywhere but assumed it would not cost a great deal. To my horror upon checking out, the laundry bill was over 4000 pesos (about £50 at time of writing) this seems an incredible amount of money considering our two night stay was only £63! It was only one bag of laundry!

Pros: Good location. Air conditioning was working ok. It was clean.

Cons: It is not a 4 star hotel although they will say that there are other rooms that meet that criteria. But that’s not the point. When booking it, that info was not available. I was not given any other option. Some staff are not trained. For example when checking out I was not informed what I was paying. Although I insisted. They simply said they would send me the invoice. Then there are some problems like restaurant not always open. You can’t buy a bottle of water. Rooms are very small.
