The proximity to the beach.
Staff spoke very little english but were friendly. The room smelt of stale smoke on arrival, as smoking is very common in Greece. The decor was quite dated.

Manilos,Dora and Yannis:The nicest,most hospitable, interesting and genuine people in Paros-no, make that Greece. Everything about this hotel is brilliant, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful but what makes it special is the people inside, do not stay anywhere else, and when you go there give Dora a hug and tell her susan misses her, and chat to Manilos at breakfast, he'll put a smile on your face just with his persona. Ha

The father of the owning family picked us up from the boat, he was friendly. The son tried to accommodate our complaints.
Very basic rooms, smoking instead of "strictly non smoking" as booked, breakfast with goat-milk and cornflakes, eggs you can play billiard with..., not allowed to use the guest dvd player. The owners did not give our family a sense of being welcome.
