The owner is one of the most interesting people I’ve ever met.if you want to learn how to be settled and happy with your life start lessons with her. Such an good energy at this Backpacker that it is the only one we decided to stay - we did lots of homestay.
the breakfast was good friendly and informativestaff
there was not hing i did not like
There are lovely cats!
loved my ‘upgrade’ to bunk with its own little curtain. The art and fairy lights all around the place is crazy and soooo cool. Pudding (dessert for you non-scottish) is awesome. really homely feeling and lots of chat with other guests. Got given paints to paint my rock. best of all is your host! This amazing lady makes sure you totally feel at home.
breakfast was basic but fine. Perhaps a bit more choice re cereals. Saying that, we got lovely french bread for free the night before — so really ... absolutely no complaints! So basic but breakfast will get you going. as will the free tea and coffee!
Booked through kayak for one adult and one child, then arrived and told booking was only for one, and was charged double despite my booking showing two people.
