Le Meridien is nice, but I wouldn't go back.
The staff is great and they all paid my daughter tons of attention. They made us feel really welcome.
The hotel is nowhere near anything, so you can't walk to shopping or a restaurant. Your only choice in Mauritius is taxis (or a bus) but Le Meridien has their own taxis and set their own rates which are almost double the market price. The restaurants in the hotel and the drinks (if you didn't get the all-inclusive package) are exhorbitantly priced. 420 MUR for a cocktail, sheesh.
Your staff were extremely friendly and they really made the difference for us.
Rooms without sea view.
Was not upto the Le Meridien standards
The Hotel Location is good, It has excellent facilities and the food is great. They have many things for Kids, we had two 6 year olds with us and they had an amazing time.
We had booked two rooms under the same ID in booking.com but the Hotel told us that Booking.com did not tell them that the bookings were together and told us that we should have booked directly through the Hotel and not through Booking.com
The location on the beach was excellent and the room very generous. The pool was excellent.
The shower leaked making the room smell damp. Drinks were very expensive.
Located on the coast of Mauritius and looking out over the Indian Ocean is Le Meridien Ile Maurice. This is a family-friendly resort that also has adults-only rooms. From one of the best natural beaches to having easy access to many other attractions, this hotel delivers for all kinds of travelers.
The rooms in this hotel really make guests feel like they’re in a natural oasis. There are 265 of them. They include family suites, deluxe rooms, Nirvana rooms for adults, and the Royal Suite. There are three main restaurants within the resort. There are international foods, as well as local favorites. Cumin is the Indian restaurant on site. Ti Marmite is a casual spot that has lighter fare right on the beach.
