Paid breakfast great
Loved all food at restaurant excellent staff friendly
The villas were wonderful, gardens amazing and staff very helpful. Breakfast was very nice and the dinner delicious.
We enjoyed our stay very much the only thing was the bed was too low and had a wooden base that extended out about a foot so we had to be careful as we knocked ourselves on it several times and it also made it difficult to get out of such a low bed. Otherwise everything was wonderful.
It was absolutely breathtaking. So easy to get around. So close to town. Beautiful landscapes gardens. Villa was absolutely first class!! Such an amazing room. Staff were absolutely amazing! They bent over backwards to accommodate my partner and I. Nothing was ever too difficult or too much hassle. My partner also organised several surprises for the weekend which the staff executed flawlessly I was simply blown away all weekend!! We will definitely be back
The villas are stunning and having a private pull was amazing
- bed was very lumpy (definitely needs replaced), both my husband and I didn’t get very good nights sleep - no bedside tables - for the price of the villa’s I thought it very odd at breakfast that there was an extra menu with extra charges even for things such as condiments - service at dinner was excellent, breakfast not so much. The backbacking staff definitely need to be trained more, especially for a 5star resort
Villas are gorgeous and the grounds are immaculate. Pool was stunning but a bit cool (in April)
Breakfast was disappointing. Servings were meagre and the choice was limited and the meals We’re over-fancy and too insanely sugary. Lunch/dinner/poolside meals were similarly minuscule and expensive and really not good for a family. Would have loved some simply well cooked fish or seafood and for a restaurant with ‘hats’ I don’t expect burnt toast or tea where the tea bag is served on the side of a slightly hot cup of water (for $6!) As far as villas go, at this price point we’d expect some villa cleaning or beds to be made or fresh towels. Also we often wished we could have had some room service or a minibar. It really isn’t like a resort hotel, it is more like pure self catering.
