Hotel was in very bad state of reapir, locks on rooms hardly kept doors shut and could easily have been broken into, carpets were very soiled, Beds very uncomfortable/old, bed linen was a throw back to 60, place was very run down, showers did not function propoerly, cleaning lady had to make breakfast (chef did not turn up), I would have asked for a refund in morning but managerment were not on site

It is impossible to give any good points about the hotel
1-When we arrived, we directly went ot the reception. The receptionist could not find our name in his list which the writings/notes were in scraw and with a pencil. This was unprofessional. 2-The room booked for us was not in bad condition but bed sheets were dirty and were totally the same sheets used for the prior customer.There was a used, dirty and half full glass standing in the bathroom. 2-While checking out, there were nobody at the reception, and I had to pay the due to the waitress!!! 3-After checked-out and in a train to London, I was called by the receptionist asking to return the room key which I forgot to handle it back.There were nobody at the reception in the morning to remind me the keys. There was not anybody at the reception and I was in a rush. Normally I dont collect keys and always redeliever the keys. On the phone he told me to redeliever the keys in the same day, otherwise he would charge 20 gpb from my credir card. Altough I told him I was in a train to London and I need couple of days (because It wwas sunday), he insisted having the keys in the same day. I made a 10-min phone conversation to persude him for Tuesday.The worst thing he said was,When I suggested him use spare keys, I was told spare keys of the room was handling by somebody elset and there isnt any key left at that moment...how could this be? Spare key of my room is in the hands of someone who might get in to my room very easily.
Bar was busy. Good tea/coffee facilities. Clean bed sheets/linen, towels. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast.
Poor parking outside. Shower/bathroom was dirty with mould and shower did not work. All decor needs updating as very worn and old. Lots of untidy areas.windows in bedroom was not working.
