River’s Edge Hotel and Spa offers nine unique living spaces with views of either the streets of Portland or Willamette River. Amenities in all rooms include a Sealy Posturepedic Bed, mini-fridge, fully stocked mini-bar, 55” LCD TV with premium cable, high-speed WiFi, Green Natura bath amenities, and a pet-friendly environment.

Room sizes range from 343 sq. ft. of the Urban King to the River Edge Suite’s 1,040 sq. ft. Modern dark and light furnishings complement one another as large windows let in plenty of daylight. Larger rooms like the Urban Journey, River Journey, Urban Edge, and River Edge Suite come with a furnished balcony and gas fireplace.

For a taste of lavished relaxation, River’s Edge features an on-site spa with a menu of calming treatments. Massages, facials, body wraps, and scrubs help guests relax. The spa also includes 14 treatment rooms and a 4,500 sq. ft. fitness center.

Guests can dine on-site at Rosswood, a quaint restaurant with scenic views of Willamette River. Pros (+) valet was excellent river walk a nice distraction
Cons (-) everything was just so average i might as well stayed at embassy suites the carpet in the hallway was pretty ugly

Pros (+) As almost all travellers to this location (out of city center) arrive by car, they need to more prominantly warn customers that the actual cost for a night stay includes $30 charge.

Pros (+) comfortable beds, scenery, walking path, restaurant
Cons (-) I asked for a quiet room. I was told I had one but it was near the elevators. I also requested floor 4 or 5 but was told not available. A lady checked in, was told her mountain view room was not available and she was upgraded to river view at no charge, upper floor. this was after I checked in. The staff could have accomodated me but didn't.

Pros (+) Location was nice. Quiet, nice staff. No room facing the river has a river view, just a view of the trees but it still peaceful.
Cons (-) The rooms are outdated. The bed (mattress)has been used for some time, it was like sleeping in a hole. cleanliness was fair, could be better. Overall it was a solid 3stars no more.
