It is located in the historic centre of the city, on Rua S da Bandeira, a few steps from the citys main attractions including So Bento Station, Clrigos Tower, Porto Cathedral, Avenida dos Aliados, Lello Bookshop, Bolho Market and the well-known Cais da Ribeira, the Douro riverfront.The hotel was built on the site of the former Baquet Theatre, opened in 1859. The location is very convenient, close to Sao Bento station. The bathroom is a tad small and not laid out well. The sink and mirror are very difficult to access since they are set way back in a tiny alcove.
