I've stayed at another Double Tree in Texas which was much nicer, the Salem location was about the quality of hotel I'd find in a Super 8. Just not what I would expect.

Pros (+) Nothing. It was just average
Cons (-) The room was very dated and in a bad part of town. Next to a strip club. There were a lot of homeless and druggies.
