7.0 Good
Pros: The lock to our room was broken. We discovered this problem when we return from dinner. It took more than 45 minutes to be able to enter our room 611. We were offered to change rooms but I had already unpacked. The air conditioning did not work either, we had to open window in the middle of the night. We told front desk in the morning. On positive , breakfast was good.
Cons: I summarized above.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Free parking
Cons: We found dried blood on the doona just before going to sleep, when we told the reception the next morning she said it was our fault for not letting them know. We should of called them, but we were so tired and ready to sleep. She made me feel bad for letting her know too late! Value for money was terrible, small room in the middle of no where. We have been travelling for 4 weeks in Italy and in comparison to a lot of other places, this was one of the worst.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast very good. Staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: Beds too soft. Bed position too low
5.8 Okay
Pros: The view from the room
Cons: Breakfast
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The bedroom was spacious and clean with a couch and pod coffee machine. The Bathroom was clean but had the shower over the bath. The restaurant staff were very helpful and kind.
Cons: Nothing.

6.0 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: The services and cleaning, regarding the paid amount it shoud be better.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: The room smelled of old smoke and of a spray to cover it up. It was located on the 2nd floor directly over a strong air-conditioning outlet, which made a horrible noise all through the night, blowing fumes upwards (the tops of the palm trees were being blown by this 'wind'. It was impossible to be on the balcony. The room was incredibly hot, the temperature set for 26C and it was not possible to adjust it. It was impossible to have the window open because of the noise from the vent as above. Staff was not that bothered about changing the room either. Not pleasant stay at all.

The staff were very helpful and recommended authentic Italian places, they even went above and beyond while trying to book us a table in one of the restaurants in Salerno.

Pros: Hotel and room we're very clean Our request for extra pillows was completed immediately. Continental breakfast was tasty Bus service / taxis in the area were great
Cons: This is not a hotel, it's a B&B, there is no onsite restaurant. The beautiful balcony that overlooks the sea can only be used at breakfast as no food is available at other times. There isn't an area available to sit outside and is a general lack of usual hotel facilities Hotel is in a residential area

9.0 Excellent
Pros: We didn't want to drive in Italy so the location of the hotel was important for us so we could make the most of our stay. This hotel has an excellent location .. across from the train station and bus terminal. Also it is 5 mins walk to the port for ferry connections to the Amalfi coast & Capri. Our room looked out onto the main square in front of the train station but there was no issue with noise even though it was busy outside most evenings. The room was comfortable , clean & had air-conditioning as well as a ceiling fan. Hotel is located on the main street so great for boutique shopping and some very nice restaurants nearby. Breakfast was excellent - cold cuts , fresh crusty rolls, juice, coffee, cereal, yoghurt, sweet pastries, croissants, boiled eggs, fruit. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Great stay...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the best hotel during our stay in Italy in July 2019. Very close to the railway station. Like less than 100 meters. Not far from the port from where the ferries leave for Amalfi and Positano. 10 minutes drive / 2.5 Kms from the port from where ferries leave for Capri Islands. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was very helpful and polite. Rooms sizes were good - could easily move around and were not cramped. Definitely recommended.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast simple but very good
Cons: nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff
Cons: Not much for the price.
6.0 Good
Pros: It's centrally located to the Salerno train station and Salerno port to the amalfi coast. You use this hotel to simply drop off your luggage, sleep and showrrz
Cons: Hotel wifi is non existent. The interior could use a new paint job and carpet. It's an older hotel. Don't expect luxury.
6.0 Good
Pros: I've been to this hotel twice already. It's a good location to simply sleep and shower. Very basic but clean. Walking distance to port.
Cons: The hotel needs to upgrade its wifi service. It's non existent. You can only pick up the signal in the lobby.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Great location - very close to the train station and town center.
Cons: Parking in the area is very expensive - take the train if possible
8.0 Excellent
Pros: When I arrived to the room it was a perfect temperature and though there is no bell boy, one of the workers was kind enough to take my luggage to my room, as the lift was quite small. I was very surprised to find a box of chocolate left for me as it was my birthday ( I mentioned it when I called them as I did not go to town to celebrate, so they were very kind). The facility itself has no restaurant or bar on site, but the location is wonderful, few minutes from the railroad station, steps from the sea and just on the corner of the pedestrian area where there is plenty of food and lots of mid to higher end shopping for everything, as well as small eateries. Great for who wants to travel light and buy new clothes :) as well as fun for window watching. Also convenient for those who want to arrange one day bus tour to the Amalfi Coast or even walk to the old town (it's worth it) and see the old Duomo. The owners of the Tabacchi store at the railroad station seemed to be very knowledgable as far as what tickets to get. I realized that Salerno can be very windy, so it is a good idea to bring along a scarf of sort.
Cons: Minus for noise and lack of personnel. Also, the breakfast wasn't the greatest. Just across the street I found a wonderful coffee place with fresh pastries that would have been much better. The staff did not seem very informed about amenities in the areas, but I ended up finding a Spanish restaurant and had a great burger (was really missing it!). The bed was comfortable, but nothings special. The noise from the street was noticeable, but it was over by 8 or 9 pm. The room was large enough, but no real work table. I had to make sure to ask for a coffe/tea maker prior to arrival, as they did not have one and the fridge was poorly stocked. There is a little grocery store in the pedestrian strip where one can buy milk or wine, bread and everything else needed for a sandwich and more should they want to take something to eat in the room as the hotel does not provide food service. Breakfast can be ordered in the room the night before. There is no cable tv, for the solo travelers who prefer to stay in at night. Just enjoy your free wifi.
6.7 Good
Pros: Good service and very clean Very close to station and shops
Cons: Room very small and bed uncomfortable.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Espresso and cappuccino at breakfast very tasty. Approximately 100 meters from the sea. Nice restaurant close by and lots of locals enjoying the beach, breakwater and promenade on a sunny Sunday in October. We checked in after enjoying the drive and view along the Amalfi coast from Sorrento to Salerno.
Cons: A little too many irresponsible dog owners not picking up after their pets on the promenade. The MacDonalds Restauant does not complement the Italian ambience very well.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: The breakfast was just basic, nothing to look forward to.
6.3 Good
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Location, cleanliness, breakfast was very simple.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was good generally
Cons: Parking was poor
6.3 Good
Pros: Lication
Cons: BED & PILLOWS ARE ROCKS. Breakfast yogurt WARM
7.9 Good
Pros: Booked this Hotel at the last minute as a previous accomodation was unexpectedly cancelled by the owner. Was a little worried for the lack of an elevator but all the rooms are on the floor above the reception. The lack of elevator was not a problem for us. The property while not new is super clean and the staff is very friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was very nice and included a good variety with something for everyone. Freshly made coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate etc was a very nice touch. Free parking behind the building was not a problem for us and the property can reserve a spot in the garage if need be at an extra cost.
Cons: Property could use some updating especially the wall paper. It looks like it has seen better days.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very nice people.
Cons: OK in English, but could be better. But in town nobody speak english so mabe it is not fair to expect good english.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Yes all good
Cons: Hair dryer

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Tornerei! Very good place to stay. The view was poor because its on a really small street so there is no way it could have a good view, but its a really good place to stay!
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Too many stairs and we were with a baby however the staff was very helpful as have us a hand :)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The person who checked us in was very helpful, including coming out to the car and riding with us to get the car parked properly in the old part of the city. The room was very clean and functional, and the location was outstanding. We only stayed for one night but it met our needs perfectly.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: It's written bed and breakfast but actually there is NO Breakfast. I did ask for a special request( just a little love note and a red flower) and after a positive answer, I didn't see any of my request in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The receptionist lady was very friendly, the room was large and the shower was really big and great. It was in the historical centre of Salerno, very close to the beach.
6.7 Good
Pros: Great location in the old city centre! Walking distance from many restaurants. Spacious room, but there is no elevator so you have to climb the steep stairs. For me this was no problem but it is something to take into account when you are less mobile.
Cons: The man who cleans the rooms and provides breakfast every morning is very rude! For some reason he is irritated all the time and takes it out on the customers. When I asked for a knife he refused to give me one and said I should use a spoon instead. I have never encountered someone so rude and unprofessional working in the hospitality industry. Regarding hygiene: there was a big stain on the bedspread.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location was pretty central, staff was very friendly.
Cons: The air conditioner wasn’t very strong and there was only one in the main area, so the Bedroom was very hot while the living area was either comfortable or too cold based on if we were trying to cool down the bedroom. Also, the shower did not drain — it would take a few hours to drain after one 2-3minute shower. There were three of us and we had to continuously try and plan our showers in incremental waves. The staff did have it fixed the first day, but it continued happening for the remainder of our stay.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: WiFi service..I lost a lot of time for mi bussines and I was without comunication with my family in Mexico..Is very Bad Experience..I exited from hotel and use wifi in other side in order to work, si I didn'n enjoy my stance in this hotel..I am in disapoint..

Highly recommend this b&b, Excellent.
Cons: Can't fault this b&b
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lucia and Sara were very special staff. From breakfast in garden, to securing a private tour driver for us, every day was perfect. Lucia provides details for bus, train, ferry , and nearby restaurants. Location was perfect for us to walk to many sites, but did not have to navigate the alleys at night because location was close to Via Roma
Cons: No complaints. Everything worked here!

Cons: we did like everything!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean bright room, good breakfast, good location near center and harbour
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to pier (dock)
Cons: Relatively far from train station. Obviously, we can’t have both- close to dock and train station!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The property is very modern and clean. The owner was very helpful and nice. Highly recommended
Cons: The water pressure of the hot water is quite low and you waste some water until it heats up but I really can’t complain about much. This is merely a recommendation to improve it to reduce wasted water
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were welcoming, helpful and personable. As a woman travelling alone in a city I knew nothing about, I felt extremely secure in and around this lovely b&b and was given excellent advice. The whole b&b was exceptionally clean. I will stay here again if I return.
Cons: There is absolutely nothing I can fault.

Pros: Very friendly staff, we could use the pool until 23:00, which is great! Amazing view.
Cons: Only sweets for breakfast. Hotel from the 80-ies or 90-ies, needs some renovation. Guests Families with children.
7.1 Good
Pros: A very quiet villa with mountain views. The property is under new management and very welcoming
Cons: Guests should be prepared for a mountain road up to the hotel
4.2 Okay
Pros: Not really much. The staff, which I assume were the owners son and daughter, tried their best to address our request for a room with no noise.
Cons: The pure lack of respect. They told us that the pool would be closed for the day due to a party. Apparently they were hosting a wedding that went well beyond midnight and the room they gave us was right on top of the pool. The owners apparently did not care and only their son and daughter apparently tried to solve our issues. After our second request they finally relocated us to a more quiet room and we got some sleep.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very nice staff.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: the staff and hel we found at the property was excellent and made the stay great would reccomend

4.6 Okay
Cons: Music of the bar behind all night long
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This was slight but quite adequate. A bus driver had broken a wheel off one of our cases and the manager wired it back on and gave us a lift to the railway station when we left. This was a great help and not offered by the other two hotels. The hotel had its own restaurant, coffee etc, and is excellently positioned for seeing the great sites and gardens of the city. A most helpful staff.
Cons: Once we had brought in the chairs from the balcony we were well set up for comfort and convenience as the weather was quite cold although sunny
6.7 Good
Pros: Good location and large room.
Cons: The hotel is above a bar. My room had music noise all the time.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast service was amazing! Also, the pizzeria is fabulous. Great location if you want to visit Salerno and its historical center.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was really helpful. Local Pizza was excellent. If you have celiac disease or food allergies this is really good choise.
Cons: The Irish Pub downstairs had music and karaoke bit too loud. A bit too many stairs to 3rd floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent! Wonderful service! Came right out to our bus and greeted us as we arrived, with warm smiles and helping hands. Check in was quick and easy, and we were walked to our 8 rooms. Wow! The rooms!! Each one beautifully decorated and unique, brightly colored mosaics and tiles, large comfortable beds, terraces looking out onto the city streets, quite spacious and very clean. The breakfast was lovely, and although it was a October, just a few nights ago- it was really warm, summer temperatures - so we were so happy to see a Clima(A/C) that was working and not turned off for the season! We had 18 days in Italy, and this was one of 4 hotels, DEFINITELY one of our favorites! The location is walkable to the Concordia Ferry, taxi’s everywhere, food everywhere- from McDonald’s to the numerous restaurants around- and ESPECIALLY- the restaurant at the hotel. We had a traveler who was quite sick to the stomach- the folks at the hotel went out of their way to care for her- went in the kitchen and MADE chicken broth soup especially FOR HER! 25 minutes later, fresh homemade soup was brought to her door! I have been inspired to create a new trip, where my groups will stay in Salerno for 7 nights, and we will stay in this hotel!! Can’t wait to return.
Cons: I liked everything! Slept like a baby!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The amazing room
Cons: I liked it all

Pros: The staff was helpful
Cons: Breakfast. It was written, that breakfast included, but for me there was no breakfast at all. 9.2 Excellent (100 reviews)
C$ 81+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at B&B Adelberga in Salerno (Historical Downtown Salerno), you'll be steps from Complex of San Pietro a Corte and Church of San Giorgio.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful place and very friendly and helpful host.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner is so kind and helpful. He was a very good person.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is about 20 minutes walk from Salerno station, costs Euro 11 for taxi. It's in the heart of the shopping areas and close to ferry port and some tourists spots. Room was made up and cleaned daily. Breakfast was standard fare with bread, yogurt, fruit, coffee, some cold meat. You'll need to ask host for anything specific - butter, salt/pepper. Eggs were given on two days. Host provided maps and directions as well as some info on tourist spots but you should go to the tourist information center for current events/fares/schedules of ferries etc. Host assisted in getting us our early morning taxi ride when leaving. It's a safe place so long as one remembers the rules to lock up.
Cons: The wifi was slow and hard to connect inside room. One had to come out at close range to the wifi router for better connectivity. It would be helpful for the host to get a wifi extender and higher speed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything lovely rooms. Location. And the host.
Cons: Nothing all good
10.0 Excellent

Room and bathroom is clean. My neighbor Kate was also happy to live in this hotel! Salerno is beautiful city and Amarfia is very good place to stay there.

Pros: Breakfast simple but very good
Cons: nothing

Pros: Very centrally located, all sights, the promenade and plenty of good restaurants just walking distance. Nice room, comfortable bed, friendly staff.
Cons: Minibar stocks not refilled, as well as the coffe cups in the room. Breakfast was good, but not a wide variety to choose from, and no changes from one day to the other. We stayed four nights and always got exactly the same options for breakfast.
