The view of Samos bay
Not as advertised re: non smoking. In fact, it reeked of tobacco and the staff smoked while cleaning rooms. The staff did not want to get it about secondary smoke. The breakfast was mediocre. The location is inconvenient. I only stayed one night because of health concerns over the smoking in the hotel.
Helpfulness of staff with advice and in arranging temporary accommodation at this hotel and another adjacent hotel at the last night of our intended stay. Our original and confirmed booking through Booking.com had not been accepted by the hotel (hotel does not accept the credit card nominated) and they were unable to contact us to advise.
Steps within the rooms. Outlook from one room directly onto the street.
great view and that s all
some of the stuff was very rude, the breakfast was very poor and low quality, I ate lunch which it was very bad coocked, in fact I didn t ate it!!! nowhere to park my car....in general lower than expectations ... I definetely don t recomend it.
Aggeliki's care and personal attention was phenomenal! Her knowledge of the island and professionalism was beyond description!...Her narratives and wonderful stories could only be matched by her father's (Mr. Yiannis) love for history, folklore, and Greek mythology, with both sociological and geopolitical extentions. Mrs Virginia, and her other daughter Photeini (Lucid) were very sweet as well. The whole family stayed up late (even past midnight) in order to better serve our needs, something which they did not out of obligation, but out of love and passion for what they do! The family assembled once more to see us live and wish us all the best for wherever the fair winds of the Aegean sea might take us...Our experience was authentic!
The service at Virginia hotel in Samos is flawless!!! Everything was perfect!!! It is very rare to find such exceptional Greek hospitality!
The staff were very accommodating and even made breakfast available for us early. They were very friendly. The pool and atmosphere were excellent for our family. It was an easy walk to the port for site seeing and has upmarket ambience.
Use a taxi for arrival as it is near the top of a hill and a challenge with luggage. Our driver was very helpful in getting us there.
This is a lovely place with a delightful family running it. We had as requested room with beautiful view of sea & mountains.I had trouble booking the Samos ferry from Piraeus & the staff made phone calls & sent me info on the flight alternatives. They really made you feel they cared for you.
not a thing
The friendly, personal touch to everything. The owners & housekeeping staff treated you as if you were part of their extended family.
Simple, clean and comfortable. The bathroom modern and functional, fully ceramic tiled for a neat and clean appearance.
The hotel is difficult to find the first time. Without the help of a very kind local who took us to the hotel, we would have had difficulty finding it.
I really liked the hotel and its location; it was an easy 10 minute walk into town. It was located in a quiet place and really enjoyed the refreshing swim in the pool. The hotel is run efficiently, very clean but the staff out front does not appear overly welcoming or friendly, but that may just be due to uncertainty with the English language or just the Greek way. We were really pleased with having chosen this hotel.
The staff was fantastic. It was an excellent value and we would stay there again.
