Harbor Ridge

Third time we have stayed at Harbor Ridge for Thanksgiving week. Like that you have affordable vacancies for us, are close to downtown SW Harbor and to the quiet side hiking trails. We used the swimming pool on a snowy Thanksgiving morning and enjoyed it quite a bit.

Cleanliness: the hot tub was hot enough, but the water was murky and somewhat frothy first thing in the morning, even without the jets being used. We stood in the tub for a few moments, then decided against it.... Also, while stripping our bed in preparation for leaving, we wondered out loud to each other if the blankets and bedspreads were recycled for next occupants use, or if they actually get washed after each guest as well as the sheets. (Check out instructions asked only that we place sheets and towels in the entranceway, saying nothing about the fate of the bedcovers.....ewwwwwe)
