Excellent 10.0
Pros: The water bungalow is spacious and view amazingly beautiful. The service staff are very friendly and helpful.
Cons: None
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This place is HEAVEN! It was the most incredible experience ever. When we reached Bora Bora, we heard so many nice stories about this place, that’s why we decided to book and enjoyed our honeymoon. It’s stunning, this place is magic! Everything is perfect! Staff so so friendly, especially Ida ! The water, lagoon, views..you just need to enjoy every minute of it. I wish, I can come back soon because this was the TOP!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is the best service we have ever had. Best food. Best kept resort!!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Went there for my 50th birthday celebration and it didn’t disappoint. From the moment we landed at the airport till we left we had nothing to worry about. Beyond our expectations. JUST GO. Just... wow.
Cons: There’s really nothing I can say negatively about the propriety. So much fun.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The staff on the ground. NOT the managerial team
Cons: Loud music during night. Limited supply of room fresh water. Poor breakfast. Not family friendly: no changing table. My daughter got bitten by insect in bed. Most Staff are very friendly and helpful though. Overall not a bad resort but definitely not luxury as it claims to be.
Excellent 10.0
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Incredible overwater bungalow. Beautiful view. Great comfort. Great staff. Wonderful breakfast buffet.
Cons: Improve choice and quality of Italian restaurant.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: We love everything, from the location, the place itself, the view, the services, the staffs, the food, and the whole experience there.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Fantastic property. Water is spectacular. 3 main restaurants for dinner are all good. Go for Deluxe overwater bungalow and you won’t be sorry. Beach access and equipment is all good and easily accessible. The beach crew and servers are incredibly nice and helpful. Hard to beat overall. My wife and I commented that this may have ruined all future vacations in different locations as this can’t be compared.
Cons: We stayed 9 days and since the breakfast buffet and the lunch menu are the same, it got old after a few days. So it’s nice to get off property occasionally for variety. Getting off motu is a bit restricted. The complimentary boat leaves at 11am and returns at 2pm. Enough time to grab lunch but not much else. Otherwise they charge $55 per couple to go to the main island, eg for dinner. Also charging $280 US for a couple to have the boat transfer to and from the airport seemed very excessive.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Location, large rooms, good food, great staff, floor viewing panels, bicycles, lovely grounds, first rate room service and housekeepers. If we hadn't been spoiled by Six Senses this would be 5 stars!
Cons: Concierges and butlers need better coordination. Beverage prices need to come down a notch, overwater bungalows need a mild refresh in their finishes.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Our stay at the conrad was exceptional. This was truly a vacation to remember. The staff, the resort and the service any hotel I have ever stayed at and I have travelled the world from the Middle East, Italy, Greece and the French Riviera. Amazing place! Will definitely be going back.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This place is really glorious. First, the hotel staff were greeting us when we arrived to the pier which made us feel even more special. They had really great customer service. The resort itself was beautiful. Overwater villa was stunning. Rooms were cozy and they had bluetooth speakers on the deck so you can enjoy the overwater villa and listen to your favorite music. I loved the hammock net on the deck. And the colors of the water are just amazing ! Everything was perfect, food so delicious, staff so friendly and I wish I can come back soon ! This place is simply stunning.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Architecture and design of resort. Great views from the Spa area. Good service. Good breakfast.
Cons: Restaurants/ bars very expensive.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The glorious views, incredibly friendly staff and cleanliness
Cons: Nothing really to “not like”... but I do think boat shuttling from the airport should be included in the cost of the stay.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It’s beautifully done and in an excellent shape. Staff is very friendly and very helpful amazing bungalow in the tree (we generally don’t like to have over water room) with large deck. We come to Bora Bora almost every year end stayed in many different hotel and this one is probably the best we have seen so far We enjoyed the opu opu bar fir a nice cocktail and a light diner at night instead if more formal other restaurants
Cons: The cost/ schedule of shuttle to go the main island, restaurants and beverage are very pricey (remember you are on a small motu if a small island 😉) there is only one option for lunch (which is very good but it would be live sometime to be able to change)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The bungalows very luxurious and has beautiful view and amenities
Cons: You have to take boat to Robert wagon to take any tour. On one tour I had to wait an hour to be picked up by hotel again

Excellent 10.0
Pros: This property is by far on the best part of the main island. They have the clearest water, most amazing beaches and the water from the over water bungalows is about 3-4' deep. You can jump in and walk forever if you want to with the water never getting deeper than up to you chest. You can swim around with the eagle rays, and stingrays right from your bungalow. They are used to people and will just kinda hang out and they do not get too scared. We have been 3 times to the islands and to to other resorts, We also stayed at the St Regis and they do not have the same water or beaches, they don't even compare. They do have an amazing resort and that is another topic for later. From the resort you can walk through the front lobby, cross the street and be right at another amazing beach that is super chill and not windy. If it is windy at the resort, simply walk across the street and its calm as can be. You can also walk the local market in 1 minute, the Lucky 13 is fantastic for brick oven pizza as well as many other dishes. We ate here so many times. The Bora, Bora beach club is a 5-10 minute walk on the beach from the resort, and they have great food and drinks. It is super famous and a must visit. The staff is super friendly and will bend over backwards for you. We had Stephanie most of the time and she was so amazing. The food is very good and the drinks are much much better than that of the St Regis. I refer to the St Regis allot and only because it is one of the 5 star hotels in the world voted by Forbes. The intercontinental is very overlooked and I have no reasons as to why. If you could combine them, you would have a 6 start resort. We love them both for many reasons. But take our word as we have been 3 times. This is a fantastic place. Do not overlook this place. The rooms aren't gigantic but they are super cozy, It all depends on what you are looking for. The St Regis has very very deep water from the bungalows.
Cons: They could have more choices for food. Other than that, this resort is often overlooked and I would stay here over the St Regis for the amazing water, beaches and access to the best places to eat, best public beaches. You can literally do everything from this resort.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Amazing place, amazing people, excellent value. I just love this resort, it’s got more of a low key local vibe, and if you’re looking to experience Bora Bora and the culture here, this is the place for you. The bungalows are well appointed and comfortable for two people. The beds are super comfy too. One of the perks of staying on the main island is having access to other restaurants and shops and stuff. The other resorts on the motu are isolated and you’re stuck at the mercy of the resorts shuttle schedule and the high prices. This resort is located directly adjacent to Matira beach which has the most amazing sunsets! Also, there’s a pretty constant breeze here which helps keep away any mosquitos! I would recommend a Horizon bungalow, between 15-28 as these are the best for seeing stingrays and other wildlife, and also to get the breakfast included in your rate, as it’s delicious and worth the bit extra you pay :) One last thing, you have access to all the amenities of the sister resort Thalasso but all the access to actual Bora Bora. Would definitely stay again!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff is super attentive, family vibe, Chef is flexible, tours are amazing and affordable, this place is an oasis we will definitely be coming back!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were extremely helpful and friendly
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Incredible location and views. Water sports were free and easy to borrow. Staff were super nice and greeted us by name. Great food. Activity desk was very helpful and made it easy to arrange things to do. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend
Cons: The only thing I “didn’t like” was that the toilet was difficult to flush in the bungalow, but that’s being nitpicky. Very little to not like in paradise
Excellent 10.0
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent location! Very nicely taken care property, inviting landscaping and very clean and comfortable accommodation. Staff was great always willing to help. The restaurant offered tasty food and shows.
Cons: The cost of the buffet breakfast was way too high, unaffordable for a family with kids. Even with the 50% discount the price was high. I wish they offered a la carte menu so you can order only what you need, like coffee and eggs.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff tried so hard to make all customers happy. The hotel is kept in an excellent shape.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was impeccably maintained. The attention to refilling the room condiments was perfect. No need to call for coffee or sugar...it was always there and in good supply. The staff was very attentive and acted concerned for my immediate needs always.
Cons: No enclosed shower or shower curtain to keep shower water inside shower stall. The bathroom floor was wet after each use. You need to provide larger trash cans....one water bottle takes up all of the recycle side of the trash can.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: It was my second time staying at this hotel and I was not disappointed. The hotel staff was welcoming and helpful at all times. The beach bungalow was great and also the public beach nearby.
Cons: The breakfast could be improved by offering a more diverse selection of food and of higher quality. Compared to other hotels in French Polynesia this was one of the most basic breakfast buffets.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was spectacular. Resort is located on the best motu of Bora Bora with the most spectacular views of the main island. Staff repeatedly went above and beyond in ensuring that every request was fulfilled. Remodeled room was spectacular with amazing degree of privacy and peace and quiet. Perfect place to rest and relax.
Cons: The trip could only have been better if I was able to stay for a few more weeks. Everything was wonderful.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Le Bora Bora is the ultimate bucket list location. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Bora Bora. Everyone catered to your every want or need. The resort is didn’t have one blemish and the location was prime! The attention to detail was amazing. I can’t believe I actually was able to stay here. Absolute paradise!!!
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing views all around. Perfect location with the view of the mountains. Crystal clear water with coral and lots of fish. The resort has a great swim up bar/pool. The staff was amazing. The bungalows are brand new and wonderful. Everything was magical. The complimentary activities are great (kayaking and paddle boarding). The also offer other great activities at a price (Jet skiing is highly recommended).
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The hotel is not far from the airport, you can visit the main island with the shuttle or even to the airport very easy. The bungalows on the water are amazing place to rest and for privacy. Summer 2020 bungalows were refurbished. Internet connection any places on their resort very good. The food is excellent a for breakfast and dinner is amazing.
Cons: I could not use my drone camera in this resort. But anyway the photos with the phone were incredibly amazing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loved it It was a dream vacation and the property was beautiful. Have no complaints about the property
Cons: I left two sweaters and a beach swim suit cover and a pair of house slippers which they found and put is a bag which with our room # 9 on it. They kept our luggage until we was to leave and said it would be fine not to worry. When we went to get it all was there but the bag with the sweaters and other things in it. All that was said is they were sorry. That’s all I was disappointed in as I was sure everything we left was safe.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Location
Cons: Needs repair
Good 6.7
Pros: They came to clean 4 times a day! That is a big aplause from me
Cons: Oldish, needs a renovation
Excellent 10.0
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: the view
Cons: service, late dinner, tried to double charge me for my room, key to the room that I had didn't work, was left unlocked while I was out doing activities, was not at airport when I arrived, just all around POOR property.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Rooms, lagoon & views are great.
Good 7.0
Pros: Had a nice view of the mountain and that they have kayaks and paddle boards to use.
Cons: There was no continental breakfast and you had to pay for it each day. The ac unit doesn’t run properly and it is hot to try to sleep. The only time it stayed cool in the room was when we were in there and moving around otherwise it shuts off and doesn’t run. Not a big deal but for the price of the room it should of had slippers & a beach bag . I also didn’t like that each time you took the boat to the main island you had to pay for it when we stayed at Four Seasons the breakfast, boat trip to main island was included with the room price and they gave you a robe, slippers & beach bag to use. Other then that the room was nice and so was the resort.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were remarkably friendly and welcoming from the beginning of my stay to the end. They made an effort to learn my name and I got to know some of theirs. I was there for a birthday and many wished me a Happy Birthday. They even left a birthday cake in my room. The setting is incredibly beautiful with great views of the lagoon and Mt. Otemanu. The Thalasso Spa is world-class with its relaxing atmosphere and treatments tailored to individual needs. Many water activities are available for those who want to be active. The restaurants serve delicious food with local accents and the drinks at the bar are unique and memorable. I highly recommend the InterContinental Bora Bora and hope I can visit again.
Cons: The resort is pricey, but less so than some of the other options on Bora Bora. It has a bit of a "corporate" feel to it.
Poor 1.0
Pros: Room was nice but not worth the money stay at the sister hotel instead it’s better place and value
Cons: Customer service sucked. Communication was not their strong suit and they will nickel and dime you for everything.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Square footage and terrific staff.
Cons: Older furniture and window coverings.
Good 7.0
Pros: Spacious overwater bungalow & we enjoyed our private pool. The view of the mountain was nice and Claude at the bar was so much fun to chat with! She really made us feel welcome and we shared many laughs with her. Beautiful property and we also liked the activities at the hotel like mini traditional dance classes and the live music for their new years celebration.
Cons: There wasn't anything major that we didn't like at Thalasso. However, we'd stayed at another Bora Bora resort prior that we absolutely loved so it's hard not to compare the two. It edged Thalasso out when it came to the room arrival experience, modernness of the overwater bungalow, hotel pool and food. We were driven to our room in a bit of a rush and the person who dropped us off didn't give us a full tour of the room. We liked the more personal touch at the previous resort and found it helpful. Our Thalasso bungalow was lovely but way less modern and missed some elements the other resort had (for example bluetooth speakers). We also didn't like the villa layout as much and missed having a swim up bar at the hotel pool - though we recognize that Thalasso seems to be more family friendly hotel as only kids were in the pool.

Good 7.5
Pros: This property was closed when we visited, we were moved to the Sofitel private island resort. I think we would have preferred this option over private island
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Excellent staff - very friendly, willing to share information even related to other hotels. First free mini-bar experience in my life...lovely treats from time to time and transit fee is 1/3 of intercontinental's but even better service and small gifts. Definitely a top pick after staying at different resorts in bora bora. We also got free upgrade to Sofitel private island due to renovation at Marara.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Buffet Breakfast
Cons: small swimming pool
Mediocre 2.9
Pros: We did not stay at the Sofitel. It was under renovation and we were rebooked at the Le Meridian. That is why I gave a fair rating. We did stay at the Sofitel in Papeete prior to Bora Bora and were thrilled with the hotel. We would definitely book there again.
Cons: It was a bit pricey for the food and drinks.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff are exceptionally hospitable, very accomodating and easy to talk to if you have any request.
Good 7.5
Pros: Thanks to the Maitai team who were nice and helpful, we rested well.
Cons: We would have liked to have stayed at this resort where we had booked. When we arrived, we found out, that Sofitel had been repaired and we were redirected to the other resort, which was not worthy of Sofitel and was not our choice. We got an upgrade room (in the local gategorie), thank you for that, but unfortunately we missed what we wanted and had booked.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Fantastic views and swimming
Cons: Problem with the bill but turned out it was a mistake by booking.com. Restaurant is ok but not great
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely complex, very friendly staff, deluxe houses, cleanliness, tranquility, very good breakfast, delicious food, funny Polynesian dinner! Thank you in particular Benji ! Dream Hotel

Pros: Bora Bora is absolute paradise and this hotel is very nice and affordable.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This place is absolutely unbelievable and the staff was extra serviceable! I loved the fact that they are Eco-Friendly and have taken steps to become energy independent and also investing in rebuilding the coral reefs near the facilities and beach. They are also trying to save the local trees and plants and have then around the hotels with identification and reasons as to why they are there. The bungalows were to die for, so peaceful, quiet and relaxing. The room was immaculate and you felt like you were reverted back in time and lived like the locals. The value compared to the larger chains is there and I just appreciate that they go the extra mile to help you along the way!
Cons: They could invest in coffee at the rooms, besides the instant coffee that they have, but it was not a deal breaker for me
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything! Lovely staff, beach, view from room, comfort
Good 6.2
Pros: Staff was helpful
Cons: Wifi did not work Was on a hill side Bugs in room
Good 7.0
Pros: The location, the hours of the restaurant, the welcome juice and complimentary cocktail, the views, the coral right in the lagoon, the ease of renting a bicycle or moped, the friendliness of staff. the beach, the quietness of the hotel
Cons: The slowness of staff to respond to requests, the minimum amount of options for eating/transportation on Bora Bora, the process to just get internet access, the lack of a separate concierge from the front desk staff, the roosters that roamed the property, the appearance of the main dining area, the late shuttle to pick us up from the airport, the hidden fee for the airport shuttle
