Excellent 9.7
Pros: Incredible overwater bungalow. Beautiful view. Great comfort. Great staff. Wonderful breakfast buffet.
Cons: Improve choice and quality of Italian restaurant.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Fantastic property. Water is spectacular. 3 main restaurants for dinner are all good. Go for Deluxe overwater bungalow and you won’t be sorry. Beach access and equipment is all good and easily accessible. The beach crew and servers are incredibly nice and helpful. Hard to beat overall. My wife and I commented that this may have ruined all future vacations in different locations as this can’t be compared.
Cons: We stayed 9 days and since the breakfast buffet and the lunch menu are the same, it got old after a few days. So it’s nice to get off property occasionally for variety. Getting off motu is a bit restricted. The complimentary boat leaves at 11am and returns at 2pm. Enough time to grab lunch but not much else. Otherwise they charge $55 per couple to go to the main island, eg for dinner. Also charging $280 US for a couple to have the boat transfer to and from the airport seemed very excessive.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Went there for my 50th birthday celebration and it didn’t disappoint. From the moment we landed at the airport till we left we had nothing to worry about. Beyond our expectations. JUST GO. Just... wow.
Cons: There’s really nothing I can say negatively about the propriety. So much fun.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Location, large rooms, good food, great staff, floor viewing panels, bicycles, lovely grounds, first rate room service and housekeepers. If we hadn't been spoiled by Six Senses this would be 5 stars!
Cons: Concierges and butlers need better coordination. Beverage prices need to come down a notch, overwater bungalows need a mild refresh in their finishes.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Exceptionally luxurious, righteously named the best resort worldwide, of course at a hefty price
Cons: For such a luxurious resort there are no brand boutiques. Maybe you should consider bringing some
Excellent 9.6
Pros: We love everything, from the location, the place itself, the view, the services, the staffs, the food, and the whole experience there.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is the best service we have ever had. Best food. Best kept resort!!!
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The staff on the ground. NOT the managerial team
Cons: Loud music during night. Limited supply of room fresh water. Poor breakfast. Not family friendly: no changing table. My daughter got bitten by insect in bed. Most Staff are very friendly and helpful though. Overall not a bad resort but definitely not luxury as it claims to be.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location views and first class facilities. The perfect paradise island. Good transfers to shore.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Everything is perfect! If you are considering Bora Bora, look no further. This hotel is flawless.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Can't beat this location. The overwater bungalows experience was amazing. To be able to jump into the ocean from your balcony in the morning, rinse off outside and then paddleboard or snorkel to other parts of the resorts and facilities from your room was so fun! Also, being able to use a messaging app for questions and services was very convenient.
Cons: There were some reservations issues for me that were eventually fixed.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything else the quite n happy staff
Cons: Need more coffee n fresh milk in the rooms. Instant coffee.

Pros: The overwater bungalow was incredible! Highly recommended!
Cons: The gym is very under eqipped, no dumbbells at all, few machines.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Stayed in an overwater bungalow for our honeymoon. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Very hot in the bungalow. Needs windows or aircon repositioned. Taxes on everything, even after getting half board still paid 5% tax Prices are high. Water is pricey. Bring your own water from the mainland if possible
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Fabulous location with beautiful views and activities were well organised and enjoyable
Cons: Food was underwhelming for a resort of this calibre
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Everything. Great location, nice food and competent staff. Exactly how you expect it to be
Cons: None
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff was great. Especially Vaihau, Mainana, Rainui, Josieanne, Nadine T...... and everyone else went out of their way to treat us special.
Cons: Everything was awesome
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Location and the view
Cons: Honestly I have to say that Le Meridien was a big disappointment and the worst of the luxury hotels I have ever been to. Don´t expect it to be the same level as e.g. hotels in Maldives. Definitely I would not rate it 5*, the rooms are worn out, not thoroughly cleaned, interior is dark and everything needs renovation. The beach in front of our villa was not well maintained, there were sharp stones and it was impossible to go swimming without shoes. The staff was not very helpful. We asked them why we paid 600 USD more for two nights than it is current price on booking.com. They just told us that we should solve it with booking.com, they were not concerened at all.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This resort offers an unbeatable view of Mt. Otemanu! We loved everything about the place: our overwater bungalow was incredible, the resort was very clean and picturesque, the staff was friendly and the food was good. We felt like in Heaven the whole time!
Cons: Even though we had half board included we found out there that drinks were not included in the price, not even bottled water or soft drinks. I understand this policy when it comes to alcohol, but considering the price you pay/night at least soft drinks could be provided.

Good 7.5
Pros: The views the spa
Cons: Poor service St.Regis was much better
Good 7.0
Pros: I loved the villas so much! They're renovated and clean and beautiful. The pool was lovely, and the whole property is gorgeous.
Cons: I did not like the service. There are some bits and pieces that could have been better such as in-room dining order, gave the employee the order 3 times slowly and they yet brought it wrong after 40 minutes. We were charged for late checkout although the concierge booked us an activity that morning that ends after the checkout time and although I am an Hilton honors member. I just expected these details are considered since the rates for the property are considered in the higher-end.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The bungalow is just amazing
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect in every way
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Our overwater bungalow looked exactly as it did in the pictures - it was huge, modern, spotless and overall, just stunning! Davin was super helpful during check-in and we enjoyed exploring the beautiful property and jumping into the water. Dinner at the French restaurant was tasty and the pina colada at the pool really was the best I've ever had. It was our first time to Bora Bora and we split or time between Conrad and another resort to experience another motu/island views. While the other resort was nice, our preference is definitely the Conrad :)
Cons: Our only gripe would be transport fees getting to/from the resort island. For what you're paying for a room, seems silly that costs like airport transfers aren't built into room rates. French Polynesia is expensive in general so be prepared to spend money - totally worth it at the Conrad :)
Good 6.0
Pros: Very nice breakfast buffet
Cons: restaurant offerings very ordinary and extremely overpriced. Servings were small, even the more upmarket restaurant wasn't that good
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The property is beautiful, and we were really impressed with our overwater villa. The food at the French restaurant was good, and it was okay at the sushi bar. The Chinese restaurant is... American Chinese food. Staff were friendly, professional and provided good service on the whole.
Cons: We had arranged externally for a deep sea fishing trip without the resort’s help because the activities desk did not provide a shorter duration option. There was a little hiccup with our payment process and when we asked for assistance from the Conrad Bora Bora’s concierge, they suggested charging us their listed rate for the activity which was a different pricing tier for a longer trip. It was only after 30 min of asking why they would charge us for a 4h activity when we are going on a 3h trip - effectively extracting a +US$200 fee for the activity to be charged to the room instead of a 5% concierge fee like they claim they charge on all activities - that they relented. Notwithstanding, it still left a bad taste. 30 min of our life wasted that ate into our excursion time and reflects how rigid the system is.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Hospitality by staff, Stuff and private pool in the overwater bungalow, pool bar, sup and kayak in the private beach
Cons: None

Excellent 10.0
Pros: EVERYTHING! From the minute we checked in we were welcomed like family. They learn your name and they have genuine conversation with you. Place exceeded our expectations. If you are debating their sister hotel stay here instead it’s a more cultural atmosphere and you get more then what you pay for.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The facilities, staff and wonderful location.
Cons: The price is very expensive as the most of places in Bora Bora
Excellent 10.0
Pros: All around amazing location and hotel.
Cons: Don’t need to have a charge for everything, even the coffee in the room wasn’t free. That’s my only gripe tho, everything else was superb.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The setting was a dream in a bungalow over the palest aqua crystal clear lagoon. The bungalow was lovely as well, private, quiet and with an overwater deck.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Super friendly staff, I have poor mobility and everyone from the guys on the boat from airport to every one at the resort could not do enough for us/me. Breakfast was great as was the meals in the restaurant.
Cons: Fairly.isolated but that's Bora Bora
Good 7.0
Pros: Amenities, local show, food and drinks were great. Bed was incredible.
Cons: The shower needed a door or curtain as showering was resulting in water going everywhere. We asked for turn downs and never received them! Plus the service side from catering needs improvement.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: An excellent holiday resort in this paradise on earth. Very well equipped bungalows. Excellent service and a fantastic manager with an individual approach to guests. Delicious breakfasts.
Cons: only too short a time to do things.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We stayed for only one night but this resort was truly outstanding! It is rated 4 stars because it has one restaurant, but we feel it deserves a 5-star facility rating. We stayed in 2 overwater bungalows and one land bungalow, and our entire family from the kids to grandma were completely bowled over by the wonderful rooms, the beautiful and safe beach, and above all, the staff! The warm and friendly staff members were exceptional! They made us feel special and feel at home, even if it was just for one night. This is a gem of a resort.
Cons: Nothing!

Poor 1.0
Pros: Room was nice but not worth the money stay at the sister hotel instead it’s better place and value
Cons: Customer service sucked. Communication was not their strong suit and they will nickel and dime you for everything.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The hotel is incredibly beautiful with excellent location in front of the Mt Otemanu (views are top). The rooms (overwater bungalow) are huge, clean and super comfortable. The excursion with Lagoonservices is a must (probably the best we have done in our entire trip to Polynesia). We really enjoyed this hotel and despite the high price it has been a great experience!
Cons: Some of the staff is a bit robotic (specially at the Concierge), they lack the passion and experience for a hotel of this kind. I guess many of them are just freshly graduated who come here to do their intern and do not have long term thinking and customer obsession as they should. The food is extremely expensive and the dinner buffet is below the bar in many aspects (a La Carte was much better option, very expensive too). These are some details the hotel should look to improve, but overall we had a great experience.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Square footage and terrific staff.
Cons: Older furniture and window coverings.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything, great place, paradise
Cons: They charge you for everything...
Excellent 8.8
Cons: It's a great place, but it's absolutely ridiculous that you must pay the coffee capsules from the room, when you have paid a beast for the room. It's ridiculous. Also the transport of the airport to the Hotel is very expensive and I think it should be included in the room price.
Good 7.0
Pros: Spacious overwater bungalow & we enjoyed our private pool. The view of the mountain was nice and Claude at the bar was so much fun to chat with! She really made us feel welcome and we shared many laughs with her. Beautiful property and we also liked the activities at the hotel like mini traditional dance classes and the live music for their new years celebration.
Cons: There wasn't anything major that we didn't like at Thalasso. However, we'd stayed at another Bora Bora resort prior that we absolutely loved so it's hard not to compare the two. It edged Thalasso out when it came to the room arrival experience, modernness of the overwater bungalow, hotel pool and food. We were driven to our room in a bit of a rush and the person who dropped us off didn't give us a full tour of the room. We liked the more personal touch at the previous resort and found it helpful. Our Thalasso bungalow was lovely but way less modern and missed some elements the other resort had (for example bluetooth speakers). We also didn't like the villa layout as much and missed having a swim up bar at the hotel pool - though we recognize that Thalasso seems to be more family friendly hotel as only kids were in the pool.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loved it It was a dream vacation and the property was beautiful. Have no complaints about the property
Cons: I left two sweaters and a beach swim suit cover and a pair of house slippers which they found and put is a bag which with our room # 9 on it. They kept our luggage until we was to leave and said it would be fine not to worry. When we went to get it all was there but the bag with the sweaters and other things in it. All that was said is they were sorry. That’s all I was disappointed in as I was sure everything we left was safe.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Location
Cons: Needs repair
Good 6.7
Pros: They came to clean 4 times a day! That is a big aplause from me
Cons: Oldish, needs a renovation
Okay 5.0
Cons: we don’t get sunset and the bungalow was pretty old,
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very clean, staff were very helpful and the food excellent. The room was spectacular.
Cons: Nothing it was perfect.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: the view
Cons: service, late dinner, tried to double charge me for my room, key to the room that I had didn't work, was left unlocked while I was out doing activities, was not at airport when I arrived, just all around POOR property.
Good 7.9
Pros: - the fanciness of staying in the resort in bora bora - very good food for the right price - we can see stingray and sharks at night from overwater bungalow - they serve 2 bottles of water every day
Cons: - bungalows look very old and are partly broken (damaged chain door, broken safe box, no shower door, balcony fence ready to break ,etc...), at that price we expect much more - the mini golf is the worst mini golf we ever saw. They should loose one star just because of this, it is just a ruin. The worst is that people who wants to go to the spa have to cross it and enjoy this terrible view - the corals around are very poor and the motu is too big to get around it easily to see other corals and do a proper snorkeling - the price of transfer is extremely high for less than 10 minutes, this is not justified. - the guy in the fare plage is too busy and we have to wait several minutes each time we want to do activities
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Location is great, the landscape is awesome, some of the personnel was really nice, the offered activities are great, gym was really nice.
Cons: The "Hot tube suite" jacuzzi was not really"hot", meaning it worked only with cold water. The hotel was in the middle of some construction works (expanding) and we couldn't have a more private bungalow because that meant we should have moved near the very noisy construction area. Some of the personnel was not very engaged or not too well prepared for their job - for example one of the concierge was very hard to understand in English or French, not to mention giving some useful advice about the water activities we were about to go to. Also, lots of moskitos and flies.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: We had a fantastic stay at the hotel ! The view from the bungalow was amazing, great breakfast and really liked the location of the hotel. Relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. We would definitively have to come back !!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing hotel, beautiful big rooms with nice facilities. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Superb location.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Lovely setting, beautiful views, great staff, restaurant was good, free use of kayaks, paddle boards, snorkels etc was excellent. Room service finished at 10pm which was a little strange, but the privacy and beautiful setting outweigh that minor quibble.
Cons: Room service open longer (or the bar open longer). Sunset taxi to mainland leaving 10 - 20 mins after sunset rather than 5 mins (so you can enjoy the views from mainland a bit longer). Other than that excellent!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect!!!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Being on a private island is just stunning, the lagoon with all its shades of blue is unlike anything I had seen before! With only 30 rooms, Sofitel provides intimacy and privacy and it is an absolute must to take an over the water bungalow when the scenery is as gorgeous as from this place. Special thanks to Pipi for always taking care of us during meals. All staff were so friendly and welcoming, every need catered to, the small gifts in the room each day (sweet treats) were delicious.
Cons: We travelled all the way from Europe and it was my dream holiday destination which does not come at a cheap price. For that, we felt that the accommodation is quite overpriced. We fully acknowledge that life on these islands is more expensive and leads to more expensive meals/beverages but the cost of the room was not reflected in its quality. However, we loved every moment at the hotel!

Good 7.5
Pros: This property was closed when we visited, we were moved to the Sofitel private island resort. I think we would have preferred this option over private island
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff are exceptionally hospitable, very accomodating and easy to talk to if you have any request.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely complex, very friendly staff, deluxe houses, cleanliness, tranquility, very good breakfast, delicious food, funny Polynesian dinner! Thank you in particular Benji ! Dream Hotel
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Excellent staff - very friendly, willing to share information even related to other hotels. First free mini-bar experience in my life...lovely treats from time to time and transit fee is 1/3 of intercontinental's but even better service and small gifts. Definitely a top pick after staying at different resorts in bora bora. We also got free upgrade to Sofitel private island due to renovation at Marara.
Good 7.5
Pros: Thanks to the Maitai team who were nice and helpful, we rested well.
Cons: We would have liked to have stayed at this resort where we had booked. When we arrived, we found out, that Sofitel had been repaired and we were redirected to the other resort, which was not worthy of Sofitel and was not our choice. We got an upgrade room (in the local gategorie), thank you for that, but unfortunately we missed what we wanted and had booked.
Mediocre 2.9
Pros: We did not stay at the Sofitel. It was under renovation and we were rebooked at the Le Meridian. That is why I gave a fair rating. We did stay at the Sofitel in Papeete prior to Bora Bora and were thrilled with the hotel. We would definitely book there again.
Cons: It was a bit pricey for the food and drinks.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Buffet Breakfast
Cons: small swimming pool
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Fantastic views and swimming
Cons: Problem with the bill but turned out it was a mistake by booking.com. Restaurant is ok but not great

Pros: Staff was helpful
Cons: Wifi did not work Was on a hill side Bugs in room
Good 6.0
Pros: A bit the view
Cons: Horrible sea in front horrible breakfast wine and cocktail
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Bora Bora is absolute paradise and this hotel is very nice and affordable.
Good 7.0
Pros: The location, the hours of the restaurant, the welcome juice and complimentary cocktail, the views, the coral right in the lagoon, the ease of renting a bicycle or moped, the friendliness of staff. the beach, the quietness of the hotel
Cons: The slowness of staff to respond to requests, the minimum amount of options for eating/transportation on Bora Bora, the process to just get internet access, the lack of a separate concierge from the front desk staff, the roosters that roamed the property, the appearance of the main dining area, the late shuttle to pick us up from the airport, the hidden fee for the airport shuttle
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Good location, friendly staff, good value
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location is the best. Definitely go for the ocean view room. The staff is very friendly and made sure our stay was comfortable. I am a vegan, so the options were very limited for me on this island. However, the hotel staff was more than accommodating and was very happy to make delicious special meals for me. Thank you so much Maitai Bora Bora for our wonderful stay.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This place is absolutely unbelievable and the staff was extra serviceable! I loved the fact that they are Eco-Friendly and have taken steps to become energy independent and also investing in rebuilding the coral reefs near the facilities and beach. They are also trying to save the local trees and plants and have then around the hotels with identification and reasons as to why they are there. The bungalows were to die for, so peaceful, quiet and relaxing. The room was immaculate and you felt like you were reverted back in time and lived like the locals. The value compared to the larger chains is there and I just appreciate that they go the extra mile to help you along the way!
Cons: They could invest in coffee at the rooms, besides the instant coffee that they have, but it was not a deal breaker for me
